  We hired Roofing Angels in late November 2025 to replace a leaking roof on our duplex, paid a $1,000 deposit promptly, and what followed was nearly four months of delays, disorganization, and surprise charges. From the start, communication was poor. They repeatedly blamed permitting and city hall for delays, promising the permit was "always around the corner" and that we'd be first up once the new year started — that never materialized on time. When heavy rains hit in mid-January and the leak was getting worse, I pushed them to tarp the roof in the meantime. They tarped the wrong unit of our duplex. The tarp was also done so poorly it was flying off the roof, and our tenant's unit continued to leak throughout. By mid-February they still hadn't broken ground, this time blaming the rainy season. Work only started after I pushed them again. Once the project was underway, the original estimate ballooned — they came back asking for roughly $1,000 more for the solar work and additional roofing costs. We paid what we felt was fair and moved forward. The final straw: after they issued a "final invoice" and we paid it in full — believing we were done — they came back asking for an additional $3,250. They apologized for "any inconvenience" as if it were a scheduling mix-up, not a failure to communicate thousands of dollars in charges before issuing a closing invoice. The roof work itself may be fine, but the experience getting here was exhausting. Constant runaround, poor follow-through, a botched tarp job that made our tenant's situation worse, and financial surprises at every turn. We would not recommend or use them again.

Regarding the timeline, permitting and weather conditions did play a significant role in scheduling. While we worked to move the project forward as quickly as approvals allowed, we recognize that the pace did not meet your expectations and understand how that can feel frustrating. In terms of the tarp, it was installed as a temporary measure during an active weather period. While tarps are not a permanent solution and can be impacted by conditions like wind and heavy rain, we do take your feedback seriously and have reviewed this internally with our team. We’d also like to clarify the concerns around pricing. The additional $3,250 referenced was for the solar-related work that had been approved once that scope and bid were finalized. This was not a last-minute add-on, but we do understand how the timing of the final invoice may have caused confusion, and we will continue working to ensure all billing is as clear and aligned as possible throughout the process. We’re glad to hear the roof itself met expectations, as delivering a quality end result is extremely important to us. At the same time, we take feedback like this seriously and use it to continue improving our communication and coordination from start to finish. We appreciate the opportunity to complete the work and wish you the best moving forward.

  I had Roofing Angels replace my roof two weeks ago and I would not recommend them. They are a new company and so have limited reviews. I can only assume the reviews online are from customers that do not have an established home. They were the cheapest and the roof looks great but as far as my property goes, I am not happy. I have dogs and a front garden and am still picking up debris two weeks later. I will be writing a Yelp review later this week with more details and pictures so feel free to check that out mid March, 2026. In short, if your house is a construction site and mess doesn't matter, they will give you a nice roof. Otherwise, spend more and do your research.

  Roofing Angels did a great job getting my Skylight installed, including some extensive follow up due to a misplaced part from the manufacturer. Ziggy in particular was very helpful and followed up on his own without my prompting to make sure everything was properly installed and functioning.

  John was great. He arrived 20 minutes early, which was great for me. I was able to get on the roof with him and asked a bunch of questions which was something none of the other contractors did. He was thorough, took a lot of pictures and was able to give me a breakdown of everything I needed. Would highly recommend!

  I Selected Roofing Angels as the best contractor from the three I had solicited bids from as the most responsive and best prepared to replace my older roof. They have a well coordinated organization that keeps you informed about costs and implementation progress over the course of the installation. There were no surprises nor additional costs but to my surprise the work for my 2000 sq ft home was completed in 2 days with all inspections completed.

  Im happy with their service. They installed a new roof, fixed rafter tails, and added fascia boards. The roof looks great. The crew was supeful helpful and worked around my families schedule. I would recommend their services to others.

  Communication was very good. Roofer had very good work ethic and was thorough passed city inspection and hoping all goes well with next major rain. They also did extra leak test at end of job as I requested. Only wish that they had onsite project manager that reviewed work at end of each day so that any outstanding issues could be addressed more timely. Thank you again roofing angels team

  There was a leakage area on my roof, and i called Roofing Angeles in the morning when i found the leakage, they were able to send someone here in the afternoon for the inspection and able to arrange the fix on the next sunny day. The fix was done quickly and the charge was very reasonable, if you are looking for a reliable roofer, this is where you should start. Highly recommend!
