  Rockford Siding and windows is an extremely horrible company doesn’t have any communication whatsoever from beginning of the project. It took three months to get scheduled. Keep in mind they have my deposit in hand Second of all, they subcontract all their work. They originally stated that everything is done in House, which is completely false information their subcontractors don’t know what they’re doing. They had told me they were going to show up on a Wednesday morning never did Showed up the following day didn’t do much of anything unloaded all the garbage In my yard, all screws, nails, and Debris third day was Friday finally started Removing Siding Saturday still removing Siding and install some of it but made them remove it because they were not putting the paper Sunday they said they were coming didn’t end up showing long story short they took two weeks to complete and still managed to leave half ass work and not clean up at all will never hire this company they also don’t pull i permits like they said they were going to very disappointed in the workmanship I Owe a concrete company and this is the worst company I have ever encountered

  Thank you for the opportunity to provide a factual response. The photos used in the customer’s review were taken during mid-construction and do not reflect the finished work. Rockford Siding & Windows is committed to transparent communication, proper documentation, and quality workmanship. Several statements in this review do not match the signed contract, jobsite records, or photographic evidence. After substantial completion of the project, the customer did not call, email, or contact our office with any concerns for more than 30 days. The first communication we received was a message stating he had already posted a negative review and would not pay his remaining balance. All work was completed properly, and we have clear, dated photos showing the vapor barrier (house wrap) installed before siding was placed, along with final photos of the completed installation. Our Production Manager and company owner conducted a full final walkthrough and cleanup, and photos show the completed siding, soffit, fascia, window wraps, gutters, and a clean yard. Winnebago County does not require a permit for siding replacement, so no permit was applicable or required. The home contains asbestos siding, which requires careful handling and is routinely performed by subcontractors who specialize in this type of work. Subcontractor use was fully disclosed in writing; our contracts, website, and BBB listing clearly state that subcontractors are used, and the customer signed this agreement before work began. The customer requested that the crew remove his existing gutters, even though gutter removal was not on the work order. Once removed, the gutters were not reusable. As a courtesy, we installed all new gutters and downspouts on the entire home at no cost, even though this work was not included in the contract. Full debris cleanup and a magnetic nail sweep were completed, and final-condition photos verify the yard was cleaned. The customer damaged the siding returns, preventing them fro

  I got bids from several places. These guys were competitive but not the cheapest. They did by far the most comprehensive sales pitch so I decided to go with them. We initially chose one color and switched before they ordered product. I asked them to bring samples back out, that took multiple calls over weeks. That should have been my first clue. After we selected new color it took several more calls over a few weeks to get confirmation they ordered materials. Was told they did......weeks ago by, I hear nothing about scheduling. I keep calling, keep getting run around, now we're months in. Finally I get a call that they'll be out next day to drop material and start work in two days. That doesn't give me enough job to retrim bushes to spec they warned me they needed so they come in and hack away at my landscaping. Crew was super friendly and overall did decent work but the cleanup was awful, nails all over, after we thought we got all from driveway still ended up popping a tire. They broke two of our lights so they couldn't be out back up. We had wind chimes hanging that obviously needed to come down, they left them in bushes. They called the next day and said they were coming over to get material and clean up. They took extra material, including open box stuff, left nothing of a custom color in case there's damage in future, never did a walk through with me and the house was super dirty, they did nothing to clean or wipe it down. Just submitted completion to finance company. Wife is happy with color and final look but no way I'd ever hire these guys again or recommend them. ****Update, the owner responded to my review and blames us for changing colors. Our changing colors didn't cause months if delays with no communication and no clean up afterwards. Ouf changing colors did cause the fascia to come of first time there were high winds. Our changing colors did not cause them to not call back for over a week when we complained about parts coming off and us having to cal

  Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you’re happy with the final color and look of your home. After signing the contract, you changed the color, requiring us to cancel the first special order and place a new one. The new color was not stocked or available as a sample, and has not been installed on any home within 300 miles, so the distributor had to custom order it directly from the manufacturer, causing the delay. Our production manager inspected and photographed the job while you were unavailable, and you were advised to contact our office with any concerns. The lights damaged were over 30 years old, and while we’re sorry that occurred, older fixtures can be fragile. Returned material was required by the distributor since it was special order, and financing was finalized upon completion as standard procedure.   I had over $9,000 in windows installed last August with the purpose of putting new double-hung windows in my upstairs where my bedroom is and taking the sliders (that were not sealed and loose) out so I could put in a window air conditioner. They did not explain to me that the windows would only open 11 1/2 inches or I would not have not hired them. I have contacted these people 3 times to see if there's anyway to change at least one of the windows for my air conditioner with no response back. I would not hire them if I knew all their windows didn't open wider that 11 1/2 inches. I am very unsatisfied with this company.

  Installed my vinyl siding on my house and it looks fantastic. The crew Patrick, George and Jake were very polite and handled themselves very professionally. Did a good job cleaning up the mess when complete. Kudos to this crew and company. I would recommend them if you need a job done right.

  Too much information to share regarding our experience with this company. Suffice to say that you do business with them at your own risk. Don’t believe what you are told. If we can keep one person from going through what we did we have taken care of our responsibility.

  Terrible, Terrible, Terrible. They never finished the job that was promised. Calls were ignored excuses were given. I will never do business with them again. I give them a negative 5.

  Where to start..... To many issues to list here But in a nut shell, Owner Mark is not concerned about the workmenship his crews provide customer's. Mark only cares about making the sale and signing contracts and will say and not stand behind his word as a man his only concern is getting paid at any price and to get paid through his preferred finance company is a perfect scam . Im being forced to pay for my job even though i never signed off the job. STAY AWAY FROM ROCKFORD SIDING AND WINDOWS

  Overall not impressed. Hired them to do roof, gutters and siding in September 2021. Had issues with all three projects, more than I can count on both hands. The only person who had pride in what he was doing was my sales rep whom I now understand no longer works there. Because of how some installation items were not done as well as they should have been, I feel that some of the workers were careless or inexperienced in some of the work they did. ROOF was done 3rd week of September; I found out by checking myself during last week of November that no required permit was obtained by them and that they subcontracted out for the roof installation; never had the inspection done following installation; my understanding now is Rockford Siding subcontracts their roofing jobs; they never advised me or stated in their estimate or contract they use subcontractors. SIDING installed mid October with several issues, such as when ripping off old siding they ripped out water spigot causing my basement room to flood and the worker who did it never even was courteous enough to come to me and apologize; they hung exterior light fixtures back on but the pair wasn’t level as one was about 5 inches lower than the other and I had to make them come back to redo; all exterior lights were marked as to location to avoid confusion but I just happened to go outside when guy was going to put the front light which was different at the back door; saw worker standing on my outdoor A/C unit working when their ladder was not more than 12 feet away; outside cables were disconnected from soffit for installation of siding but not reconnected to the soffit when job was done; did not reseal or caulk around A/C cables leading into house after removing old seal; one new vinyl window strip was installed that curved inward instead of even and flush with window like prior strip had been; caulking in areas was sloppy in spots, especially around the door frames at eye level that does not look very professio

  We recently had Nathan at Rockford Siding and Windows provide a quote for window replacement for our entire home he was professional knowledgeable and provided a comprehensive quote. They had excellent reviews online and in our subdivision and after comparing to other quotes we received we moved forward with them. Their installer Jim was very detail oriented and did a superb job in a timely manner. We were highly pleased with their work and highly recommend them to anyone looking to replace windows.

  Rockford Siding is a well know company and a very professional company, we are very happy with their work. They completely replaced our entire roof in 2 days.   Rockford Siding and Windows, from the owner to the installation crew, were great to work with. Got the product that fit our wants with special order colors instead of the standard offerings of most companies. Installers also did a great jobs and after installing followed through with cleanup and instruction.
