The critical reviews

The one and two-star reviews, first. These are what a star average hides, and they are the reason this page exists.

We hold no one or two-star review text for Richard Schimming | Roofing Specialist | Old Pro Roofing, LLC. That is not the same as there being none — it means our capture did not reach any. The rating breakdown above is Google’s own count and is the number to go on.

Other reviews we hold

4 more of the 4 reviews we hold text for, most recent first. We do not hold every review Google has.

Richard went above and beyond by trimming the neighbor’s tree branches touching our roof and hauled them away! His crew was thorough and even came back another day to paint the trim on the skylights!

I reached out to Richard with a concern we had with our roof, he discovered the issue was our vent covers and he went out of his way to get them covered! Shared information about the state of our roof, and did a thorough inspection around the entire property looking for hail damage (found on our gutters and playground in backyard). Honest and dependable will definitely be using him when it’s time to get a new roof!

North Texas is one of the most hail-prone areas in the United States because warm, moist air from the Gulf of Mexico often collides with cold, dry air from the Rocky Mountains. During the spring and early summer, these changing weather conditions can create powerful thunderstorms with strong updrafts capable of producing large hail. Hail forms when water droplets are lifted high into freezing temperatures inside a storm cloud. As the hailstones move up and down in the storm, they collect more layers of ice and grow larger. Once they become too heavy for the storm’s updrafts to hold, they fall to the ground. In North Texas, hail can range from pea-sized to softball-sized and can cause serious damage to roofs, windows, vehicles, and outdoor property. Many North Texas hailstorms are produced by supercell thunderstorms, which are long-lasting rotating storms known for severe weather. These storms can bring damaging winds, heavy rain, lightning, and even tornadoes along with hail. Because hail damage is not always visible from the ground, professional roof inspections are important after major storms to help identify hidden damage before it leads to leaks or long-term problems.May 21, 2026Call now

Where this page comes from

Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 4 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 4, of which 4 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.

Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.

There is not much data on Richard Schimming | Roofing Specialist | Old Pro Roofing, LLC. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
