Randall and Son came out and inspected my roof due to an ongoing leak. They submitted photos to my insurance company claiming there was hail damage. Once they were made aware that insurance would not cover it, they blew me off. I had …

Had a roof estimate done and insurance approved half the roof and gutters and not the whole roof originally. I got a message that the roof was covered in full from DR&S but the gutters were still not. Well, come to find out, the roof wasn’t …

Very unfortunate experiences with company's customer service, response to questions, followup with management, and their overall abilities to provide sound advice and support during prework phase. I would give them a zero if I could. Buyers beware of their pressure tactics and unprofessionalism.

I requested a quote from Randall & Sons Roofing and unfortunately had a very frustrating experience. After waiting six weeks with no progress, I had to escalate to their VP of Sales just to get traction. I was then handed off to a new sales representative, and it still took another two weeks to finally receive a quote. At that point, I was told they would only take on the work if I replaced my entire roof, which was never communicated upfront. That lack of transparency, combined with the delays and difficulty getting basic follow-up, made this a challenging company to work with. I’ll be moving forward with a competitor that values responsiveness, clarity, and the customer experience

The job isn't complete since I started in June. Roof was replace but still waiting for other work to be completed. I'm more involved in the process than I was told I had to call the insurance company multiple times as well as get in contact with the sales rep. Not what I paid for in having to do the work myself. Lots of radio silence when the 1st half of the check was collected. Then when the 2nd half was needed that's when all the leg work was starting to be done. But once again no follow up and still not complete I am the one who has to follow up must not be important to them. The process for the whole thing was not what it should be. I was advised that RNS would work directly with my insurance company on any issue. Come to find out the message was sent to the "wrong" person. This whole process dragged on far to long and should have been completed quicker.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, as it helps us continue improving our processes. Thank you for trusting Randall & Son with your home.

There was an obvious lack of knowledge of roof repair, and experience. Wanted a facia replacement that stumped them. Didn’t want to work on my house because of its age. They are obviously looking for the same day tear off and reshingle. Easy jobs with “hail damage “

Like many folks, we experienced significant wind and hail damage from one of the major storms this spring. We contacted Randall and Son Roofing(RNS) as they had been highly recommended by several of our neighbors who had used them to repair and replace roofs in the past. RNS assigned Tyler Flanagan as our representative and he came and inspected our roof, assessed the damage, and then guided us through the entire process leading to the installation of an excellent new roof, which has now been completed. Tyler clearly showed us the damage and explored our options with us. There was no pressure regarding how to proceed and after we chose to explore an insurance claim, Tyler then patiently assisted us in working through the entire process and was always a phone call away whenever we had a question. The RNS policy of having an assigned representative be the point of contact for a project from start to finish worked very well for us and we could not be more pleased with the result, as Tyler always went the extra mile for us.

Sandra, that kind of back-and-forth with an insurance company is exhausting, and we're really glad Chris and Tatiana stayed after it until State Farm came around. Getting the roof and gutters done in a single clean day is exactly what we aim for. We'll make sure they both see this. Thanks for trusting us with your home.

Everyone involved in this project, which was huge, was excellent to work with! Things went smoothly on time and professional. Would definitely recommend them and reduce them again.

I never thought replacing my roof and siding would be such an easy process.....heck I didn't realize they were damaged enough to need to be replaced. The Randall and Son Project Manager showed up at my doorway and made me aware that my house had been hit by a hailstorm. He whipped out his ladder and jumped up on my roof. A couple minutes later he informed me that I did indeed have damage and that I may qualify to have my homeowners insurance cover the cost, minus my deductible. Well, he was right !!! From start to finish it was easy-peasy !!!! My neighbors on both sides are both submitting hail claims also. The quality of their work was impressive, no detail was too small. The whole process was seamless...Tommy was a GREAT representative, incredibly organized and ready to help. Thank you Randall and Son......you have a world-class organization. Thank you, Tommy Dieter Johannsen.....Elgin resident

Dieter, that's a great story and we're so glad Tommy caught the damage before it turned into a bigger problem. Walking a homeowner through the insurance process from inspection to completion is exactly what our project managers are there for, and it sounds like Tommy knocked it out of the park. We'll make sure he sees this. Your neighbors are in good hands too!
