  Nice enough salesman but even after telling him I didn't want to sign off on him working with my insurance without an estimate he fought tooth and nail for me to sign a contingency. Which would guarentee them the work and I quote "our prices on an up front estimate will be much higher then the number they gave you but with a contingency we will reduce our prices to meet the insurance payout!" When in the world did businesses start giving 2 different quotes? Why would you charge me more if I didn't have insurance? Exactly how is your company still in business if you take losses by working with insurances? Then he ask me how many roofs I have done (rude).... he said I have been doing it 10 years....well sir congrats but this is mine "why is it you can reduce the price only if I sign a contingency?" His reply "it's the rules"...nope thats your rule. Have a good day, if you have 2 different prices then you are not a trust worthy company. Contingencies are nothing more then high pressure sales. And while most don't care cause it's insurance I am old school and the price to do a job shouldn't be a variable. You know how I know? While this is my 1st roof I have spent 20 yrs in sales. Response to Owner: when you ask for a contingency 10 minutes into a conversation with zero effort to establish why your the best at any time is beyond unprofessional and not a good sales tactic. You can't earn my money with zero effort. Your salesman literally gave me no reason why I should sign one other then it benefits you. You response doesn't address the problem at all.

  We do apologize that we didn't hit the mark at this appointment, and we understand where the confusion can come from. Insurance pricing does not line up with our retail pricing; sometimes it's higher, sometimes it's lower. The reason for the contingency request is to prevent a scenario where Pyramid Roofing goes through extensive work to fight on your behalf to ensure the insurance company pays what you are owed, and then to turn around and put our hard work into the pockets of another roofing company. Contingency agreements are often the standard when working with roofing insurance claims. We appreciate the opportunity, and again we do apologize that we did not meet your expectations this time. -Pyramid Roofing

  The review is directed to the admin or billing office-I have been a customer since 2012 and have always been pleased with the repair services. I have my roof inspected every year to stay ahead of any major repairs or to plan if a new roof is needed. I have never had a problem with that aspect of the service. Fair prices, good service. I am very disappointed with the billing office who sent me a bill with PAST DUE in uppercase and underlined in black marker twice for $248. I obviously did not receive the first bill and lost track of time, so I am shocked that is the way loyal customers are treated. A polite call would have been better. I feel like this is not the way to treat customers that have always paid their bills and would have, in the future, hired you to replace their roof. I frankly feel offended by this.

Our billing department had extra help recently while a portion of our regular billing staff was away and your feedback helped us identify an area where further training was needed.   they wanted to charge me to give me an estimate, as an maintenance manager, i never had a company charge me for an estimate. they must dont need the work

  Mr. Mccarter, we are sorry that you were not happy with our diagnostic evaluation fee. As each roofing system is unique, it is very important that nothing is overlooked, especially when visiting a property for the first time. Our 17 Point Inspection helps make sure we identify any additional areas of concern that might not be showing up inside yet. This is actually a $179 inspection but since we are already on site for a known issue, it is only $79. Once inspected, you will not be charged for the evaluation again and you can have peace of mind knowing the entire roof has been checked by a trained Pyramid Roofing Specialist.   The worst! Had a roof installed 14 months ago. It is leaking. They do NOT stand behind work as stated. They didn't come to asses for 20 days, then said was an act of God. Every time it rains my roof leaks. There is a hole in my ceiling from one side of my living room to the other, and continues to spread to my kitchen. They will not fix the problem and homeowners ins doesn't cover the roof, so inside keeps getting worse. they could care less. I have to litigate for a result. They are giving us the runaround. The warranty is a major scam.

  not installed yet, however the Ricky that came out to tell us how much the job cost was awesome gave us a fair price and gave us a realistic time of when it would be done go through Lowe’s and use their contractor for roofs and gutters. You will not be disappointed.
