Preman wants the check and then they are gone. My roof and solar were installed in Dec 2020. Not only does the solar not generate as much power as they promised, the roof also has shotty work. We have called the company and had people out to our house several times. First we will start with the solar generation. We were told by Robert at the time of purchase that the amount of panels that we purchased would generate enough power to power our home and additional dwelling unit. 2 years after that I owed the power company $626, Why did I get Solar? When we told Robert and Alex about the generation and it not being what we were told, They told us it is a he said she said situation and they would not be making any changes to our solar. So we contacted the solar panel provider enphase, Enphse told us that there is in fact something wrong with our production. Alex told my husband he would not being providing us additional panels or moving any to produce more energy. Alex also told us that he is where our complaint would stop. Now lets talk about the roof. When the roof was installed in 2020 as well. most planks that needed to be replaced, were only half way replaced rotting wood remained on some sections of the roof. We have a covered deck that they put new roofing material on. All of the nails are visible from the underside of deck. I called to tell them about it, they painted the nails that I can still see. I can go on and on about the imperfections on the roof. We have now gotten to the point where they are willing to fix the rotting wood that was left and covered so we wouldn't notice. However they want us to pay cost for their poor workmanship. If there is actually an Aaron Preman we are not allowed to talk to you and have been told several times that we would not be getting any further than Alex, and that no more services would be provided under our 15 year warranty. Aaron, if you are real just know that your employees ethics and customer service is not anywhere near

Competitive pricing, that's where the good things end with Preman Roofing. We paid over $30,000 for a new roof 1 1/2 years ago. 2 leaks appeared during the first rainstorm. We called for a warranty repair (10-years warranty by Preman). They came up with a ridiculously lame excuse to avoid doing a minor patch that would have fixed the issue (I know it can be repaired easily since I am a general contractor). They completely ignored my emails and calls, just as mentioned in another posted review. Now I am at an impasse; do I continue spending the time trying to get them to do the repair, do I give them the perfect excuse to void the warranty by doing the repair myself, or do I live with the leaks in my roof?!

They charged us more for a lighter color roof tile which is the cheapest in the market and when we had leaks after a rain, they never answered our numerous emails! Use another company if you're looking for professional work and representatives with integrity

Preman is unresponsive and has made us wait for nearly 2 months without a start date. We signed our contract with Preman to re-do our tile roof on April 28th and as of June 20th I have not been called with a start date. Our deposit was cashed on May 10th and the permit was approved June 2nd. It has been 18 days since approval. The office has told me weekly that I will hear from scheduling but I am not given a name or number. When we initially called Preman they were very professional and came to our house right away to do the inspection. I was given a contact number of their Estimator/Project Manager to call if I had any questions. I have called and texted several times and received no response. The company says that projects are starting 6-8 weeks out once you get on the schedule. I would think very carefully about using Preman if you want your roof completed within 3-4 months and do not want to have to call weekly for updates. We are very disappointed we have wasted so much time and keep getting the runaround.

I wish I could assign more than 5 stars! Preman Roofing-Solar was **outstanding** and provided excellent customer service (especially amidst the challenges associated with the pandemic). Their roofing and solar crews were technically superb and at the top of their game, punctual, communicative, accommodating, patient with questions, and professional in every respect. Their in-house team members did a great job of triaging my questions and communicating about the schedule. Special kudos to Darryl (and crew), Manny (and crew), Robert, Alex Y, Tony, Angelica, Esmerelda, and Joseph. Thanks, too, to Katie-Grace and everyone else on the Preman team. I have a gorgeous and sound new roof, as well as a great solar system. I couldn't be happier with Preman Roofing-Solar!

This company was impressive from the moment they came out with the quote. Great presentation, no pressure and great price. They said it would take 3 days and it did. First day was tearing off the old roof. They showed exactly when they said I would and finished demo within 3 hours. The next team showed up to inspect for any damage so they could get the supplies in time to have them first thing in the morning. The next phase took a day and a half and went very smoothly. They replaced some plywood and a facial board I asked them to fix. Step by step they respected my and my neighbors property. When it was complete, the roof looks amazing and seriously, I have only found two VERY small pieces of old roof in some of my bushes. They were very respectful, clean, safe and did an amazing job. I HIGHLY recommend Preman Roofing and Solar.

These guys are good. As a recently new homeowner I needed to find a company that I could trust to inspect my roof for any damages leading into the rainy season. Preman came recommended by my real estate agent so I went with them. They were fairly priced and shot me straight - I'm assuming at least - since the repairs they recommended were minimal. I was not a large project for them, but they treated me like an important customer nonetheless. Very satisfied with my experience with Preman Roofing, thank you Danny and team!

My brother-in-law recommended Preman Roofing for our roof replacement and my husband and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the results. We got three bids for the job and one of them was so ridiculously high, it’s unbelievable! Robert Aviles was honest and gave us an estimate that was fair. The ladies from the office (Angelica and Esmeralda) were so helpful and so nice whenever I call for a question. Fabian and Kevin, the roofers, were so fast and efficient that they finished the job ahead of schedule in time for the rain the following day. They left the house premise clean that no nails were found upon inspection by Daryl. We highly recommend Preman Roofing for your roofing jobs from start to finish.

Another beautiful day in San Diego! Offices looking clean and pristine as we go into Independence Day Weekend!Jun 30, 2026
