  Unsafe, driving practises by this person driving a company vehicle swerving in and out of the bike lane, not able to drive in the middle of the road and almost hit a cyclist.

  Bad Ethics!!! On March 2, a Sunday morning, one of their employees in a PJ truck ran a stop sign while I was on my bike coming down a hill (I wear four flashing lights and a reflective vest) and I had to stop to avoid a T-Bone! No reaction, he kept on driving. I told Management immediately and have waited two weeks for a response...NOTHING!!!

  We had a leak occur on a standing seam metal roof installed by PJ. I enquired about possible repairs and if this is normal for a metal roof to leak. We were told their "repair team supervisor" would contact us soon. Which he never did and we are assuming he never will make contact with us. Absolute lack of communication and obvious avoiding a potential warranty issue. Would not recommend.

  We’ve worked with Parker Johnston quite a few times over the years and they’ve always been great to deal with. Good communication, dependable people and they stand behind their work.   Parker Johnston did an excellent job on our roof. It was challenging and they made it look great. Neil and Scott were friendly, knowledgeable and hard working. It was a pleasure having them on the property.

  I just had my roof done by this company. From the first meeting with Brian MacDonald to assess things, and then the arrangements made by Jeff McPherson for the date which led to roofing day done by the team of Liam, Carlos and Matt it was great. Each person I delt with was professional, polite and so informative. You could tell each person cared about the work they do. Thank you all. I am impressed.

  Parker Johnston completed my roof (single family rancher) in January. Of all the roofers that I contacted, their proposal was most professional. Their estimate was competitive and accurate and fair, with some additional work at my request because I wanted all my old skylights replaced, and repairs were needed around the chimneys. The team was very professional: efficient, organized, attentive to detail, very helpful in answering all my questions, and they maintained a clean worksite. The roof looks great. PJ has extensive experience on the South Island and a great reputation. (Some of the critical reviews below strike me as suspect.) I perceive that Parker Johnston does great work, and recommend them highly.

  They are professional to deal with. They show up when they say they will. They had a big hard working crew, did my house and workshop in 2-1/2 days, took away all the garbage and cleaned up very well. Great job! They were a pleasure to work with!   I can’t speak highly enough about our experience with Parker Johnston and their team. Shaun showed up quickly to provide a quote and not only was his the best quote of three companies that I contacted, his was the most professionally put together. He left a folder with different options that discussed warranties and pros and cons to each option with a price breakdown for each option. They were very flexible when my schedule changed, and their communications were fantastic throughout the entire experience. Jeff went the extra mile when I was trying to come up with the best option for skylights and Tony and his team were not only quick and professional, but were very friendly while working in my neighborhood. I would definitely recommend Parker Johnston and their team if you are in the market for a new roof!

  Everyone knows of the great reputation of Parker Johnston. What most people do not realize is their pricing value. Perhaps a slightly small cost over some other roofers; however for this comes guaranteed experienced, professional, courteous crew - the small extra sum was worth it. I knew I had chosen the right roofing company when Bryan, the estimator came. He had a lot more experience than the other company estimators. This showed in his explanation of my roof, many factors that were missed but other competitors. Please look out for Darren and his son Bryden - they were punctual, hard-working and extremely knowledgeable. Plus they are both nice men, a pleasure to do business with.   Our new roof was installed by Parker Johnston. Not only did they give us complete confidence at the time of installation, their envelope specialist has been incredibly responsive and knowledgeable anytime I've needed to work on our venting or to have the roof inspected. Highly recommend this company.
