Scammed out of 16,000 dollars. Called to get a leaking chimney fixed. Quote was well over market rate but promised to bring in 3 types of specialists to make sure the work was done properly and we would never have to worry about it again. Services promised in inital meeting was mysteriously missing from final reciept. What a mess.

Hello, I searched our system and you were not a Par One Customer. So either you have the wrong company that you left a review on or this is a scam.

We hired Par One to install interior doors in our home. It was a disaster from start to finish.

Upon completion of roof I received call from my salesman and first response was “hey when can we meet up to get payment my guys need paid”. Never once asked how roof looked. I was also told someone would come over and inspect roof with me and make sure I’m satisfied. I am satisfied with the roof but not with the way they handled it. Also was told they clean up after themselves. Well I found about 30 nails in my gutters along with the old roof paper. Clogged my gutters and I had to clean. And left metal pieces in my yard. Never again using this company. Not very professional for spending a lot with their company. No referrals here. And they never showed up for my first appointment I made with them. I took off work to be there and they said they forgot to put appt in computer. And yes this review is for the right company. Par one construction. Under name Tim H.

I am sorry but we can not find your name in our records. Was this sold under a different name, or do you have the wrong company?

My hallway bathroom is 36 sq ft. Asked for simple renovation, no fancy fixtures etc. Tub/shower replacement, flooring, single vanity with mirror and light. Quoted $23,000 by Ben from Par ONE. I still don’t understand where the large sum of money would go. Other contractors quoted 8-13k using their nicer/luxury materials. Ben was nice and professional. The quote was from another planet. I don’t know this business, they may be great and I hope they are. However, after considering for a few days, it surely seems like he was hoping to take advantage of a customer who didn’t know better.

Thank you for reaching out to us and giving us the opportunity to quote your bathroom project. I am sorry that you feel that our quote is unreasonable. We take many things into consideration when quoting all jobs, some of which are quality, value, material cost, warranties, craftsmanship and customer service. We are confident in saying that we are second-to-none in our industry, in York, PA. Many other contractors offer lower prices, please be sure you are truly comparing apples-to-apples, with everything. While we know we aren’t “the cheapest” contractor out there, we are one of the very best, and market ourselves in that manner intentionally. We are sorry that you felt the need to give us a bad review, not based on the actual work, but instead on a quote you did not agree with. Ben works directly with the estimating team, and we do apologize if you have felt taken advantage of. While we do regret that we won’t have the opportunity to actually show you all of this, I can assure you that no one was treating you poorly or trying to take advantage of you. I believe if you take a look at our work, our reviews, testimonials, and even speak to our past clients, you will find all of this to be true. We wish you the best in finding a contractor that is a great fit for you, that aligns with your needs and budget.

After reading good reviews on par one, I was very disappointed. After Ben came out to my house, he told me twice in email that he would call me the next day and I never heard from him. I emailed back to see what the status was for my siding and got no response. I ended up finding a new contractor because of the poor customer service.

We strive to give our customers the best possible customer service and we apologize that we fell short in your experience with us. We will be reviewing our process for following up with customers to ensure this does not happen again. If there is anything we can do for you in the future, please let us know and we wish you all the best.

Poor customer service. Came out for an estimate and seemed enthused but then never heard back. Called twice to check status of estimate and was told I’ll get back to you.. and again have never heard back.

Par One built a roof over our existing deck. They did a fantastic job and I couldn't be happier. Everyone was very professional and polite. They showed up when they said they would and did a pretty darn good job of cleaning up every day. The workmanship was impeccable. They even releveled our deck before starting. First class job from a first class company. We will be using Par One for our next project, which is a new front porch and roof.
