Our new home had serious roof ice dam problems and interior leaks around the cathedral ceiling area during the winter. William came out to our home himself and helped us figure out the best roofing solution that fit our budget. We also spoke with several other roofing contractors, but none of them took the time to understand the issue or offer the same level of help for our specific roof problem. So far, I’m very pleased with Ortega & Sons Roof Repair because they have been responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with, and I feel confident the roof repair project will go smoothly once the weather allows the work to begin.

A friend referred me for a roof inspection after I noticed a few missing shingles. Grant was quick to respond and arrived exactly when he said he would. He performed a thorough roof inspection, explained the condition of the roof in simple terms, and walked me through the repair and replacement options without any pressure. After finding enough damage to justify a full roof installation, he clearly outlined the roofing process, timeline, materials, and what to expect during the job. The roofing materials were delivered on schedule, and the crew showed up right on time. Even with two layers of old shingles on my two-story colonial, the team completed the tear-off and new roof installation in just one day. The crew worked efficiently, knew their roofing work well, and took great care to protect my property. They placed tarps around the house to catch shingles and debris and even covered my above-ground pool to keep everything safe during the project. Cleanup was excellent from start to finish. When they were done, the yard, driveway, and work areas were spotless, and you could barely tell such a big roofing job had just been completed. Grant also checked in during the project and personally made sure the cleanup was done right at the end. The new roof looks fantastic, and the whole experience was smooth, organized, and professional. I highly recommend them for roofing services in Demarest.

They did an excellent job on my home. My older house needed a full roof replacement, gutter work, fascia and soffit repair, and a few siding panels replaced after storm damage. I’m very detail-oriented, and I was really impressed with …

Ortega & Sons Roof Repair and William were outstanding from start to finish. William even answered calls on a Saturday to help coordinate the full roof replacement and kept everything moving smoothly. The crew arrived right on time, got to work right away, and handled the entire roofing project with care and professionalism. The price listed in the estimate was fully honored, and we felt respected and well informed through every step of the job. The new roof looks excellent, and you can tell the workmanship was high quality. They also did a thorough cleanup when the work was done, leaving the property so neat you could hardly tell a roofing crew had been there, except for the great-looking new roof. What really stood out was their honesty and quick response when a window bug screen was lightly damaged by a shingle during the job. The crew pointed it out to us right away and said they would take care of it immediately. They returned within two hours with a brand new replacement, which showed real integrity and strong customer service. It is hard to recommend this roofing team highly enough for anyone needing reliable roof repair or a full roof install.

Wrapping up a long home renovation, we finished with a roof replacement and full attic insulation replacement. Over the course of the project, we had many contractors coming in and out, and william and his crew were easily the best team we worked with. The roofing work and attic insulation job went beyond what i expected, and the whole process felt organized, professional, and stress free. They removed all the old, musty insulation, improved the attic space, and installed new insulation with great care. They also shared before and after photos throughout the job, which really helped us see the progress and the condition of the roof system and attic. The crew was respectful, worked efficiently, and kept the property clean each day so no roofing debris or materials were left behind. When the job was done, they checked every detail to make sure everything was complete. They even handled small exterior touch-ups around the gutter area after making adjustments, which showed real pride in their workmanship. In Demarest, it is not always easy to find a reliable roofing contractor, but this team delivered excellent service, strong communication, and quality results. brandon was helpful, grant was thorough, and we are very happy with the new roof, attic insulation, and the overall care put into the project.

Grant and the team did an excellent job finding the roof leak and pointing out a few other problem areas that could have turned into bigger roofing issues. This was the best experience I’ve had with a roofing contractor. They showed up on time, worked in a professional way, and were very thorough from the inspection to the repair plan. The work was handled on schedule, and everything was explained clearly in simple terms. Grant also took roof photos, shared them with me, and walked me through what they showed so I understood the condition of the shingles, flashing, and other areas of concern. I usually do not write reviews, but after dealing with other contractors who could not solve this roof problem, I felt this crew really deserved the praise. I would gladly call them again for any roofing issue and highly recommend Grant and the team.

Ortega & Sons Roof Repair replaced the roofs on our house, garage, cabin, and gazebo with outstanding workmanship and excellent customer service. After a detailed roof inspection, Grant and Brandon carefully checked the storm damage, explained the issues with the older shingles, and helped us through the insurance process in a very professional way. They also guided us through material and color choices, including a Class 4 shingle upgrade to help meet insurance discount requirements. The whole roofing project moved quickly and smoothly, from planning and material delivery to the full roof installation. Even with changing weather, the crew stayed focused, protected the home well, and kept the job on track. The roofing materials were delivered in a clean and organized way right onto the roof, without blocking the driveway or causing any yard damage. Communication was clear the entire time, with easy online paperwork, regular text updates, and helpful progress photos. The crew worked hard every day and did a great job on all roof sections, including the more delicate trim and small-area work. They also handled extra roof repairs like replacing damaged wood, capping off outdated roof vents, and preparing for new ridge vents along the full roof line. The installation included proper code upgrades, new drip edge, and updated metal flashing around roof penetrations and roof transitions, which gave us extra confidence in the long-term performance of the system. Cleanup was excellent throughout the project and after completion. Tarps were used to protect the yard, plants, and siding during tear-off, and the final cleanup included a careful magnetic sweep for nails. William managed the work with real attention to detail and made sure everything was completed to a high standard while still keeping the price fair. We chose the higher-grade impact-resistant shingles for added roof protection and insurance benefits, and it was absolutely worth it. Overall, this was an excellent

William and David were amazing on this roofing and exterior project. We were very pleased with the daily communication and how clearly the crew explained each step. Ortega & Sons Roof Repair kept the job site very clean, picking up trash and leftover materials every day, which made the whole process much easier for our family. Brandon, the foreman, was on site daily and often worked alongside the crew during material delivery and installation. William was also very patient and helpful when going over color choices and exterior details with us. The team regularly shared photos and short video updates, so we always knew how the work was moving along. This family crew showed strong work ethic, professional service, and real care for the quality of the job. They handled siding installation, soffit and ventilation replacement, exterior trim work, replacement of an outside door and screen door, deck support post replacement, and full exterior painting. Their experience with roofing-related exterior work really showed in the finished result. We highly recommend them and would gladly use them again for future roof and exterior repairs.
