Oak Hills Roofing

The only one or two-star review we hold for Oak Hills Roofing.

Stay away from this company. I first contacted dalton early in 2022 to have a steel roof installed, both at my house and at our cottage. He was quick to take over $20K in deposits from us, and subsequently, we heard nothing back for over a year, except when we called. Jay subsequently acquired the company, and said to only communicate with him, we thought we had come to an agreement about an install in July of 2023, but again I have never heard from him except when I contacted him. Today I asked about an install date, and I received a text that our money would be returned. Now it's been one year and I have no deposit back, no communication, and worst of all - no new roof! I am very disappointed and I've been more than patient with Jay and Dalton.

Hi Jade. I believe there’s been some confusion. Dalton is a sub contractor that owns his own business. He has done some jobs for me in the past but only 2 or 3 a year. When you and I spoke back in May Dalton and I were in talks about a merger but unfortunately that merger never came to fruition. I was hopeful we could iron out the details but Dalton has decided to remain on his own. I know there was a regrettable lack of communication between you and I via email but it was simply uncertainty on my part wether Daltons merger was going to happen or not? Every time you contacted me I would reach out to Dalton and he assured me that “he would take care of it” so I left things in his hands. - At no point whatsoever has Dalton been on my payroll or represented Oak Hills Roofing - I have NEVER received any deposit of any kind from you - I have never provided you a quotation for work - I have never laid eyes on either one of you projects or met you in person. - Your contract is with Dalton and his business Summit roofing, NOT Oak Hills Roofing My only involvement in this ordeal was trying help out a fellow contractor who bit off more than he could chew. I pride myself on my work ethic and my reputation and I’m kindly requesting that you remove this review! I truly believe it’s inaccurate and extremely unfair Thanks for your time.
