  Hello George, My apologies on the delay of our proposal for your roof repair. Your roof leak is not a "typical" roof repair. Being that it is a metal porch roof, the leak could be the actual roof or it could be at the wall. We don't want to give you a hastily prepared roof repair proposal that won't solve the actual problem. Chad, the Owner, wants to come back out to inspect the area himself to determine what the actual problem is so that we can repair it correctly the first time - that's the hold up. I did send you an email last week explaining what the delay is. Again, our apologies for the delay. This time of year is extremely busy and finding time when both Joe and Chad are available to discuss your repair and come back out to inspect again is challenging.   I have no record of doing business with a person named Lavendar Moore (Chan) or MiMi Lee (this person continues to change their name on this review.) This review is obviously fake as it contradicts itself several times and makes no sense (did we not call back, not schedule the work, not begin the work, begin the work with no notice, not perform the work, perform the work in a subpar fashion, etc.)

  I used MW roofing to replace my roof a few years back. The roof is covering loft space instead of an attic, to which becomes extremely hot during the summer. While they did do a decent job in installing, it was very difficult to get in contact at times. They left much debris and nails on the driveway and within the roof. It took a few months to have someone come back out to repair the siding that was hanging, tiles that were curling that they said was normal and the window screen that was damaged. Now, a few years later it is hotter than ever in the attic, I called and emailed multiple times at the tail end of 2020 and someone came out to inspect and only gave a potential solution. But since I followed up to go over the options with the estimate with back to back emails and calls with no replies. As I am looking to fix this, since we are back in the summertime and I have to find a new company for attic ventilation solutions as well as to repair the curling tile. I wanted to take the time share this experience of customer service as an existing customer.

  We told you that whoever built that third floor space in your attic was not even to code let alone being able to vent we're sorry about your issues but it is not caused by us we just changed your roof out. We came back multiple times to help you for free and this is what we get a bad review.

  I contacted MW Roofing to inspect my roof for areas of improvement and to replace loose and missing shingles. The representative was quite polite and shared a wealth of information during our discussion. Unfortunately, I was promised a return phone call which I did not receive. I waited a few days and cotacted the Company once again at the start of the week of September 9, 2019. The same representative from our previous call answered the call, was polite, and explained that they are quit busy this time of year but that I would receive a call or follow-up email once she spoke to Chad. Today is Thursday, September 12, 2019 and I have not received a call to follow-up on our conversation or provide an update to my request. While I suspect the company is reputable and trusted, based on the reviews I read and the recommendation from a family member, the lack of responsiveness is a concern to me as a future consumer of their services. Based on the lack of response and follow-up I experienced, I can only award MW Roofing 1 star. Consequently, I have chosen to discontinue my request to contract MW Roofing for this or future projects. Note: my feedback reflects my personal experience with the Company's responsiveness. I cannot offer feedback on their workmanship quality, value, and the employees punctuality since I have not engaged their services in order to evaluate those components.

  Thank you for your thoughts and concerns. I'm sorry that you had such a bad experience and I will use this to help ensure future communication with our customers is improved. It's disappointing to me personally as an Owner of MW Roofing. I'm the person who spoke with you on the phone and wrote up your proposal/estimate for new gutters. My notes from our telephone call did not include any color preference. Most of our new gutter installations are white in color and since I didn't have a different color noted, the proposal was written with a line that clearly stated "Gutters will be white in color." That is the proposal that was returned to me as approved with both yours and your husband's signatures. What's even more disappointing is that there is no price difference between white or tan gutters. If the color in the proposal been noticed it would have been a very easy fix had it been brought to my attention prior to the work being started. I offered a discount because I truly felt bad about your dissatisfaction even though the problem arose because the color stated in the proposal was not noticed before being approved. To address your other concerns, the reason for the long delay was due the backlog of work my gutter installers were dealing with due to all of the rain we received last year. The holes left behind from the old gutters are covered by the new gutters. I'm not aware of a gutter installation company that back-fills each screw hole unless specifically asked to by the customer and there would be an additional charge for that. In summary, I'm very sorry that you had a bad experience with MW Roofing. We pride ourselves on having good customer service and obviously fell short with your gutter installation project.

  I'm very sorry that you had an unsatisfactory experience with MW Roofing. We pride ourselves on our 5-Star reviews and we don't like to fall short of our standards. When an old roof is being torn off things can and do get messy, but at the end of the day we make sure the surrounding area is cleaned up properly. We take care not to do damage to landscape beds but there are instances where plants are damaged and we will replace them if necessary. The shingles were absolutely different colors. We immediately contacted our Shingle Manufacturer Representative and he came out by week's end to take shingle samples back to be tested by the manufacturer. As it turned out, there was not a defect in the shingle - the color difference was due to the vendor taking shingle bundles from two different lots. We went ahead and replaced the roof anyway, at our cost, and it did take a little longer than we wanted because we had to wait for the manufacturer to make their determination as well as losing working days over the Thanksgiving holiday. Again, we are very sorry that we did not meet your (or our) high expectations and will use your review to make sure we do better in the future. Thank you!

  They really did a great job. They showed up when they said they would and cleaned up behind themselves. They made getting a new roof easy (because I was not at all prepared). I would use them again. Ellie was amazing. Perfect communication. I wish I could say more. They really were that great to work with.

  5 years ago MW Roofing installed a new roof, siding and gutters on my home. They did a great job. So 5 years later, I noticed some slight issues, including the flexible ductwork had become disconnected from the roof vent. I called the company and Chad came to my house climbed up in my attic and reattached the ductwork. He fixed the other small problems as well. No charge. I’m very impressed at the extra effort MW puts forth for their customers and how they stand by their work. I definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a new roof, siding or gutters.

Chad & Joe guided us through the entire process, patiently answering all of our questions along the way.
