where do i start. the roof on our place was original to the house and it showed. shingles were faded and a few had blown off over the years. MTS came recommended and they did not disappoint. they set us up with new architectural shingles and the difference is big. the color they picked works with the brick way better than what was there before. the crew showed up early both days and just worked steady. what i noticed most was they didnt leave a mess behind, no old shingle chunks in the bushes or anything. the guy who ran the job filled me in as they went about what they were doing and when they figured to be done. it rained the week after and not a drop inside. for shingle work these folks know what theyre doing and the price was fair for a full roof.

We kept getting water in the attic after heavy rain, not like a waterfall but enough to stain the insulation and make everything smell damp up there. Turned out a whole section of shingles near the ridge had basically lost their seal and were lifting. MTS pulled all of that off and re-did the underlayment too since it had moisture damage. That was maybe four months ago now and we have had some pretty nasty storms since then, zero water marks. I keep checking the attic like a paranoid person but it is bone dry every time.

The color matching is what stuck with me honestly, because we had this weird brownish tone on the old shingles and I figured whatever they put up would look off next to the siding. MTS brought samples over and the one we picked just sort of disappeared into the house, if that makes sense.
