  Hi, Saroj. We are disappointed to read your review, as it does not accurately reflect our interactions with you. While you stated that we replaced your roof in 2008, we have been unable to verify that work. At that time, our company did not utilize an electronic recordkeeping system, and unfortunately those records are no longer available. We implemented our CRM system in 2017, and all customer interactions since then have been documented. Our records show that we provided you with proposals in 2020, 2022, 2024, and again in 2026. In 2020, we quoted a partial roof replacement and two skylights. In 2022, we provided a proposal for a full roof replacement and three skylights. When you contacted us again in 2024, we explained that material and labor costs had increased since your previous estimates, and in turn, you let us know that you were not interested. Most recently, in 2026, we prepared a comprehensive proposal that included a new roof, windows, replacement of fascia, rake trim, cornerboards, and new gutters. You elected not to move forward with any of these proposals. Because of this, we are particularly confused by your statement that our salesperson told you that you "didn't need gutters." Our most recent proposal specifically included gutter replacement as part of the recommended scope of work. We also want to clarify the comments regarding warranties. Manufacturer warranties cover defects in the roofing products, and workmanship warranties cover installation-related issues. Damage caused by external events such as snow loads, ice dams, wind, or storms is generally not a warranty issue and is typically addressed through homeowners insurance. Finally, we take pride in the quality of our work and stand behind every project we complete.   Since Mario’s is not responding to me, I will leave my message here. The handoff process from Sales to Planning was not good. It took weeks of me reaching out for them to schedule the second step. Over a month passed and then I got a call on a Monday morning that someone would stop by in 30 minutes. Luckily, I happened to be home. Most people are not home on a Monday morning with 30 minutes notice. The man who showed up measured my windows with a tape measure, told me that the Mario’s sales rep quoted me wrong but didn’t provide any other information. Then he left. That was two weeks ago and I haven’t heard anything from anyone. Is Mario’s doing so well they don’t need my $10,000 worth of business? How can I trust they’ll do the work? Will they do what they quoted me for or was the man right and the Sales rep misquoted me? Too many unanswered questions. Now I will be the one not answering if they finally reach after reading this review.

  Roof job. Started several months later than expected, took more than twice as long as quoted, shoddy job on porches (drilled dozens of large visible screws through two porches in disparate directions), workers littered and peed on sidewalk and street in front of house and laughed about it. Issues noted and acknowledged without discounts or apologies. Disappointing overall. UPDATE: Thanks for the reply. Yes, we are certain it was Mario's on Washington St in Stoughton, uploaded snapshot from the pdf contract stationary to confirm. Can't comment about the screw choice. Someone in the condo pointed this out and a few days later somebody showed up to sever the parts that were sticking out, but the stubs and split wood remains.

  Hi, Evan. This is truly unacceptable behavior and our crews are trained to always be professional and respectful on all of our job sites. We also don't use screws like that and we have Project Managers on site that would never let that fly during progress and final inspection. Could this have been mistaken for another company?   The representative came out for an estimate, promised the world and what he could do for us and then doesn’t even respond to what he promised. I’m so glad that Mario’s has it like that. They don’t need peoples business. Will definitely go with the small business.

  Skylights sized and installed improperly leaving a large gap with exposed old wood and shingles around the frame inside the room. The result is unsafe and unacceptable. Exterior also quite a mess as the skylight is not properly seated so the metal is exposed beyond the finished frame and roof shingles are bent and lumpy. Mario’s actually left a lawn sign to advertise the poorly completed project.

  In their description they say thay do broken siding, but when I called they say they don't do it. They just want a full job.

  I have contacted them twice about getting some work done and they have not responded. I'm very disappointed because I used them a few years ago and they did great work. They probably have a labor shortage like so many other places but they should reply to customers and not ignore them.

  Incredibly happy with our Siding(Hardie Board) and Gutters project done with Mario’s. From start to finish we were impressed with Mario’s staff and crew. They were very timely and professional. The quality of the work was outstanding. We are also returning customers having had our roof done by Mario’s last year as well. We highly recommend them!!
