  Don’t bother making an appointment, they don’t stand true to their word. Made an appointment for 10:00 am (taking off work to wait) and nobody showed up. I called twice to inquire and was not able to reach anyone other than AI assistant who informed me that they would transfer my call to a live person immediately only to be hung up on. What a waste of time and energy.

  I contacted Magnum to do an emergency repair because a bad storm was coming. I spoke to Levi & set an appointment for the following morning. When he arrived, all he did was try to sell me a new roof, which I'm aware needs replacing, but did nothing to address the leak in my roof. He kept second guessing everything I told him about where it was leaking and kept tell me we could do an insurance claim to replace the roof. None of this was going to help my situation. After a brief inspection of the area, he told me he would text his production manager about possibly tarping the area. That was the end of it. He left and never contacted me again. It was a complete waste of time, and I don't recommend this company if you want results. With all the 5-star reviews I expected better. BEWARE.

  If you need a new roof they try to convince you to blame it on weather and open a claim with your insurance. Huge risk to get dropped by your policy and so they can charge the insurance company way higher prices. Super shady business practices.

  They replaced my roof damaged by Hurricane Ian and I have no complaints about the work. The problem that I have is that the salesman who we signed a contract with told us we would be charged for the roof what the insurance company gave us on the claim. The insurance company balked at their price and we got left paying the extremely high price for our new roof. The insurance company warned us that the price they were charging was outrageous and that we should shop around but we didn’t listen stupidly. We have been speaking to our neighbors and have found that we spent between $10,000 and $12,000 more than any of them for our new roof. Like I said there work was fine but I just recommend that you shop and get more quotes before contacting with Magnum.

  Hey Robert, We apologize for the experience you had that left you feeling as if you overpaid for your roof replacement, but after looking into the situation, I think there was some information that you may have misunderstood. Your insurance policy was an ACV policy, which means the insurance company will not pay for the full replacement value of your roof. Due to this, you had to pay an additional amount that the insurance company wouldn’t pay due to your type of policy. The insurance company still agreed to all of the line items that your Public Adjustor requested, but they wouldn’t pay the “depreciation” value. The insurance company set the price for the roof replacement, however due to the type of policy you had, your depreciation was nonrecoverable. It is very unfortunate, and if you were not aware of having this type of policy, I highly recommend reaching out to your insurance agent and figuring out if this is the type of policy you would like to keep. We appreciate the compliment of our work meeting your satisfaction, we stand completely behind our crews and their work. In regard to being more expensive than your neighbors, we were working off of the approved scope set by your insurance company. There are also multiple factors that can change the price quickly, so it is impossible to compare your price to your neighbors without all of the details and scope of work.   Beau did a great job and was honest about the issue and solution. I had another company that tried to convince me I needed a whole new roof. Beau found a much more practical solution including a follow-up to ensure the solution worked.

  We recently had to replace our entire roof due to storm damage and I cannot recommend Magnum Roofing & Restoration enough. We got several quotes, but Levi Etienne was the reason we chose them. He was incredibly patient while we did our homework. He provided a full proposal that broke down the company history and the different shingle tiers so we actually understood what we were buying. Levi was extremely responsive and came out multiple times to address our concerns before we even started. The crew was just as impressive because they finished the whole roof in a single day and left the yard spotless. It was honestly cleaner than it was when they arrived. Most importantly, we stayed 100% on budget. I had planned for a contingency, but there were zero overages and we never needed it. Levi even came by personally after the job was done to make sure everything met his standards. It is a huge relief to have a new roof and not have to stress about it anymore! We will definitely recommend them to everyone and if we ever need work done again, we will utilize them!
