BEWARE. I used this company for a whole house siding project, they were the middle of the pack with there quote for the whole job & first impressions seemed ok. Once work started there were a few issues with workers having unpleasant interactions with my neighbours & garbage/cigarette butts being left lying around. Once the job was completed the owner (Manuel Garcia) requested over $3500 in ‘extras’ on top of the original quote. These extras hadn’t been discussed at any point prior to the job being completed and no proof was shown that any extra work had even been done. This companies workmanship is also questionable, short off cuts of trim where scabbed in around windows and small torn pieces of tyvek were left exposed in places. When i questioned the owner about these deficiencies I was told they would be ‘extra’…. Overall I’d say Magic siding are a fly-by-night company and not to be trusted.

Poor communication, arrived late, way too expensive. Wanted $150 to put on one tiny little bit of siding that we supplied. And this was his "discount" rate which usually starts at $220. No thanks! I'm not paying you that much to hop up a ladder for a 5 min job. He could have saved everybody a lot of hassle by posting his rates. Lesson learned. I'll ask first next time.

Absolutely awful unprofessional business! Just don’t do it! Is my advice Manuel Garcia is a rude and unprofessional untrustworthy individual who clearly should not be in business. My neighbour had them over not me and I am writing this review based on their opinion!

I am writing this review about a year and half since Magic Siding replaced the siding (and window screens) of my tiny home after the big 2024 hail storm. I was immensely impressed with them at the time [did I post a review then? I don’t even remember]. Not only did they take on my very small job at a time when the entire industry was swamped with much larger more ‘important’ jobs and nobody else would even come to quote the job, but they worked with determination to get it done even as winter was setting in. [“I will always make time for a small job,” I remember the owner, Manuel, saying over the phone at the time of my first inquiry—and I was flooded with relief.) His team was out there in sub-zero temperatures, no gloves, having to re-do some pieces because the siding was brittle in the frigid temperatures; they worked long days in such difficult conditions with amazing good cheer. And they did an excellent job. And then Manuel was gracious and patient when (to my mortification) my insurance company's cheque, sent directly to them, got stalled in the Canada Post strike and it took weeks to sort out. Based on that experience, I would recommend them to anyone, and would use them again myself. The reason I’m writing this review now, all this time later, is that a couple of very small issues came up with my siding after a recent extremely windy storm, and even though they are run off their feet with yet more post-hailstorm major clients, once again Manuel did not hesitate to make time for me—he responded immediately, came and assessed the issues, and promptly set in action the solution. He treated me with the utmost respect and made it clear, once again, that he will “always make time for a small job.” It’s obvious that he values his clients and has a sense of integrity about his work. I’m sitting here smiling, impressed all over again. It’s a pleasure (and something of a rarity) to deal with people of such character.
