  We had three skylights replaced. They replaced the skylights and put up trim but didn't advise me that there was no insulation put in place, horrible craftsmanship I would never recommend this company to do skylights even for an enemy! …

  We have not had anyone reach out stating any issues with our installations. If there was an issue with an Installation that was not up to standard we would be more than willing to fix the issue. The person posting this is posting without a name, we cannot confirm the legitimacy of the post or customer and therefore will be flagged as fraudulent.

  A Disastrous Experience with M&M Skylights – Proceed with Caution I recently had a highly disappointing and frankly, disastrous experience with M&M Skylights that I feel compelled to share. My journey began with a straightforward process; I paid a 50% downpayment during an onsite sales visit, where measurements were taken for a new skylight installation in my bedroom. However, this initial promise of professionalism quickly turned sour on the scheduled day of installation. To my dismay, the installers proceeded based on the initial measurements without re-verifying them. This critical oversight led to a shocking discovery - a dormer and valley on my roof obstructed the designated skylight area, making the installation impossible. But not before they had already cut through my bedroom wall and opened up the roof, leaving me with significant, unintended structural alterations to my home. M&M Skylights’ response was to patch up the roof and replace the interior wall, leaving the onus on me to handle all the finishing work, including spackling and painting. The situation escalated further when the sizable presence of six M&M vehicles on my property drew the attention of the local building inspector, who identified that M&M had failed to pull the necessary permit for the work. This oversight resulted in a stop work order being publicly posted on my house. While M&M Skylights did refund my deposit in full, this gesture hardly compensates for the inconvenience, time, and stress this ordeal has cost me. From missing work to dealing with town regulations and the physical labor required to rectify the damages to my home, the fallout from this experience has been extensive. This entire fiasco could have been easily avoided with proper planning, appropriate site preparation, and basic due diligence in measurement verification. My experience with M&M Skylights has been nothing short of a complete disaster, costing me not just financially but also in terms of time and peace

  Two part review: 1) bathroom skylight install: Fantastic job (4.5 stars). Quick install, minimal interruption to our work-from-home environment, crew was very friendly and hardworking. Zero complaints. 2) French Door with Screens install: after some considerable delays in starting the project (6 months or so), the initial install of the actual doors was completed in a day (and again, the crew was friendly and hardworking), however the crew reported they were unable to match the stain color in the room and told us 'we'll be back tomorrow'. Well, they never returned. Unfinished door, no screens - a half finished project. We were even willing to have M&M complete the project despite the manifest issues, but after several attempts to contact M&M over the course of several months with no response, we were forced to contact a different contractor to complete the project. In total, it took well over a year to get this project completed from initial quote to new contractor. Long story short, if you need a skylight replaced - these are your guys. For other projects, I would think twice.

  Never returned calls. Never provided the estimate that was promised within 48 hours. Not very professional. Be forewarned.

  M&M installed several skylights for us at different times. They seem to be the best in the region for this. Never had a leak with a skylight they installed. They also are good about fixing any minor issues that arise, even a few years later.

  I had 3 solar tubes installed in my house and am very pleased with the results. The crew was on time as advertised, went right to work and worked hard for a full day to complete the project in one day. They were knowledgeable, professional, consulted with me on every optional detail and were very respectful of my property. I love the new lighting and am happy that I found M&M to do the job.

  Company was professional. 1 window was measured wrong so there was a little delay in the project, but it was communicated to us clearly. EDIT Velux (Sky Light Manufacture) does not participate in the solar power tax credit. There is no QMID to enter. M&M Skylights should not mention this possible 30% tax credit in their sales material.
