Absolutely Horrible. Go elsewhere. In summer of 2023 I sought quotes from Roofing companies to redo the roof on my house. I accepted the quote of Lines & Lundgreen even though it was the second highest, but based on 1) the fact I went to high school with some of the family members, 2) their sales pitch, 3) and the company is now ran by a local politician. That should have been the red flag, but it wasn't. I was misguided and their ill-performance was costly. On September 15, 2023 I submitted payment for 50% of project's cost, $15,260. I was told they were "a little behind but would get started in the upcoming week or so" and the owner, Jonathan would talk to me before starting. Let me explain how "or so" is defined by Lines & Lundgreen. September went by. October 2023 goes by. Nothing. November 2023 and still nothing. On 11-18 we get a decent rain and my roof starts to leak. I reach out, answer, "we are still a little behind but expect to get started this month." December 2023. Nothing. January 21/22, 2024 rains so hard, I now have leaks in 7 areas. The drywall starts to fall inside the home, insulation comes down. Contact L&L. Answer, "we are so sorry" February 2024. Another half-inch of rains, I have buckets all inside my house, NOTHING from L&L. Coming up to HALF A YEAR of excuses, stories, sorries but zero results. All this time, they have almost $8,000 of my money earning them interest, while my expenses on home repairs increase. March 2024. I contact Arizona Registrar of Contractors, other vendors, and start to make a fuzz. L&L starts to make more excuses. At this time, I go to hire Almodova Roofing who is ready to start in 7 days. L&L, so secure the job with a mechanics'' lien on my home, finally show up, 15 minutes before Almodova's first day to start the job but inadequate staff and materials. On my Ring Cameras, you can hear their foreman venting on how the employees he was sent did not know what they were doing and he had to restart the job t

Hello Ms Squires. We got your email yesterday asking about when we were going to be put on the schedule, and we were looking into the delivery of the shingles. We just got a reply this morning from the suppliers saying that the shipment of materials was supposed to be sent out on the 8th, and then have promised us the 15th- on Monday. We wanted to have an answer to what was happening before we responded to your last email... We can't put you on the schedule until the material arrives, and we are working on that every day. We understand this is frustrating for you and everyone else, and we hope you will have just a little more patience as we wait on the materials that you paid for, and which were ordered.

Mr. Hollander, When you contacted our office regarding this issue by email on June 14, 2023, we did review the work done and reviewed the inspection report you supplied and did our very best to explain what happened. This is not a "lack of ownership of our work" as you described, but a thorough explanation of what happened and who's responsible for the repairs. The email explained: 1) The City of Yuma requires inspection of insulation at framing and again upon completion of the house. Missing insulation at time of inspection would result in a failure to pass until the problem was taken care of. Since it passed inspection, the insulation was installed correctly. Any disturbance of insulation subsequently would not be covered by warranty. 2) Broken tile at time of inspection also results in failure to pass until corrected. Any tiles that are broken after the inspection is passed are not covered under warranty. If you would like us to replace this tile, we would charge $100.00, which is substantially less than our usual $250.00 minimum service charge. 3) We don’t install fascia; this would be done by framers. 4) There are two flashings shown on page 6. The one on the left is a plumbing jack. The pipe is sealed at the point where it comes out of the roof, then additional metal flashing known as a double jack is fitted over the pipe to provide extra protection. The double jack isn’t required to be sealed to the pipe. Again, this is required by code and would not have passed inspection if done incorrectly. 5) Finally, the electrical jack on the right was installed by the A/C crew after we finished the roof, and it is their responsibility to seal it properly. We hope this information is helpful to you in order to get a resolution. As-so-far as the broken tile identified in #2, we would still be happy to replace the tile set out under the terms of our response. We suggest contacting the home builder regarding items #1, 3, 4 and 5 to get a resolution. The resp

Like a few of the other comments here, it seems that anonymous comments like this are trying to garner as much negativity as possible, without allowing us to be able to know who it was, when it happened, or even if it ever happened. I wish to address one possibility of what may have happened, and that is that we have several drones that we use to visually inspect properties when we are asked to serve them, and we do not need to physically get on a roof to see the damage, as well as using satellite technologies that scan our area every few days. Both of these technologies allow us to serve our community with a historical view and current view, and allow us to make educated and professional assessments which go into some of the quotes we provide. We are honest in all of our doings, with our name and reputation on everything we do, and do not hide behind nicknames or innuendos. It is extremely disheartening to see comments like this one, because it presents blame, with absolutely no personal responsibility. We actually have been in business for several generations, and take great pride in our work, and in how we represent ourselves with our community. I would honestly ask the person who wrote this to contact us directly with our secretaries and see if we can actually serve you to the best of our abilities. Our direct phone number is 928-783-9084, and we welcome anybody and everybody to contact us with concerns so we can get those concerns addressed directly. Unfortunately, we have seen this google listing being used by our competitors who would like to tear us down and destroy our good standing and incredible reputation- while remaining anonymous and doing the most damage as possible. Please contact us directly, and allow us to continue to serve our community with the same level of professional respect and courtesy we strive to display with every customer!

I agree they must be physic. They just did the same thing to me last week, “ a drive by “ estimate. When I called to confirm my appointment because I lost the note, I wrote it on that was when I found out they had driven driven by the day before and just looked and ran. I got my estimate in the mail. I already had two others to compare with, and it was the worst estimate ever.

Dana- Since the beginning of Covid, our customers have expressed concerns about human contact, and so we have employed various technologies to help us expidite our roof estimates and jobs. Some customers are happy to have a person visit them in their home, and go on their roof, and some get very upset when we have done that. We try to walk that tightrope as comfortably as possible for each customer, and attempt to limit personal contact whenever necessary. We are saddened to learn we did not meet your expectations. One of the tools we use allows us to use Satellite technology to give us the measurements, angles, pitches, etc... in fact all the information needed to provide an estimate. While this does not make us physic, it does allow us to provide timely quotes at the earliest convenience. When you came to the office, we asked for an email address to send the quote to, but we were not provided with one- and hence we physically mailed one out to you, as soon as possible, which in this case was a day or two. In looking into the issue further, we discovered something that we would love to be able to clear up with a phone call. Please allow us to call you and explain what we have discovered.

Very unprofessional and horrible company. Probably a second generation owned business and they dont know what they're doing and handling complaints from clients and they do a very shoddy work.

Starasia Phil- I don't think you are thinking of the right company. We have never been in contact with anyone with that name, or have ever done any business with anyone with that name. We take great pride in the work we actually do, and how we interact with our actual customers. If there is anything we can do for you, please let us know. Every job we do is done to the standard, and we always attempt to go beyond that standard and bring excellence to all of our customers. We completely understand that a happy customer is the best customer, and our work reflects that with every job we are called upon to service. If you have some concerns with any work done, please call our office at 928-783-9084 and speak with Dora or Terrill. Thank you!

They said they would come and give me an estimate the next day. That was a week ago and I've never heard from them again.

    Reply from the business

Linda- our records show we got a call from you last Thursday (March 2nd, 2023) and we came out either the same day, or Friday the 3rd. We prepared an estimate later that day when we arrived back in our offices. The next business day, which was Monday, we called your contact number and when there was no answer, we followed that up by sending out a physical estimate via mail, just to make sure you would be able to have it in a timely manner. That estimate should be arriving today or tomorrow depending on how fast the mail is delivered. Would you please call our office when you have received the estimate or if you have any further questions? We appreciate the opportunity to serve you and appreciate any changes in thought about the review... or the Star being only one, when we've done our best to show our courtesy, accountability, and responsiveness... that is, if our response meant anything to you. At any rate- Thank you, and God Bless!

I needed a repair on my roof from a botched job from another company. I contacted Lines & Lundgreen and they were always available and from start to finish whether it was texts, phone calls, or emails. They assessed the damage with photographs and gave an estimate. I decided to go with them and they completed the job within a couple of days after it was scheduled. Photographs were also provided at the end of the job. Overall very friendly, timely, and professional. Definately felt like I was taken care of.

Mr. Rivera we truly appreciate the opportunity to work on your roof! Thank you so much for acknowledging the crew's hard work. With Yuma breaking a record yesterday (100 days of temperatures over 100 degrees), working in this heat can certainly be a challenge, but we take great pride in getting the job done right, no matter the conditions. We’re committed to taking good care of you, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need any assistance with roofing or insulation in the future.

We recently had the roof replaced by Lines & Lundgreen roofing company, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the start, the team was friendly and made me feel comfortable. They took the time to explain everything and answered all my questions, which I really appreciated. What stood out the most was their commitment to great service. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was done right. It felt like they genuinely cared about doing a good job, not just rushing through to get it done. Plus, I really trusted them to handle the project, which is so important when it comes to something as crucial as your roof. In the end, they did an excellent job, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for roofing work. It’s nice to see a company that values its customers and delivers on its promises.

We were very pleased with the job that was done on our roof from start to finish. We had a few leaks during a big rain storm and called several roofing companies for estimates. It was a big job requiring removal of concrete tiles, putting down new plywood, double roof underlayment and replacing the tiles. We were impressed with their work ethic in cleaning the area every day so that no debris was left on the ground. Lines and Lundgren upgraded all the vents from old style concrete to modern flashing. Looks so much better. They also fitted the tiles when replacing them which made a very aesthetic improvement in the appearance of our roof. I woiuld highly recommend Lines and Lundgren for anyone requiring quality roof work

Our patio roofing was blown off in the last big windstorm we had here in Yuma. Even though they were swamped with calls they managed to get out and dry in the roof so the plywood wouldn’t get ruined in the forecast rainstorm that hit the next day. The two employees were courteous and very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job in also reconstructing parts of the roof that had rotted over the years. I’ve been in construction my whole life and can tell quality work when I see it. For all the work that was done the price was very fair and reasonable. I would definitely recommend this company and wouldn’t hesitate to call them again.
