  Edited after several attempts to contact them with no response. I deducted an extra star for a total of two stars because I think the lack of communication at this point is abominable. ~~~ Starting with the good for those who want to know; We have an uncommon sized sliding door and they were able to accommodate it without making it three panels (which other companies said they’ed have to do). We’ve had the door for a week and it seems to be working (I’ll update if that changes, but I think it was properly made and installed). The price was reasonable for the work* (*I’ll explain). So, if you have a completely standard installation, it could be fine. The reason I deducted two stars is because our experience had a few hiccups. First, the timeframe; they told us it should be installed within four weeks . . . it ended up being ten weeks. Along with that, I was constantly the one reaching out to check on progress. Never once did anyone reach out to me to let me know what was going on or why it was taking so long. Maybe there was a completely legitimate, unforeseen reason for the extended timeframe . . . but without any communication, it just seems like they lied about the timing. Second, when the door was finally ready, we were told that they’d be there to install it on x date. We scrambled to change our schedules to accommodate the time because it had already been so long . . . then they told us they wouldn’t be there. At that point I put my foot down and said (truthfully) that my roommate had risked her job asking for an extra day off on a week she was already taking four days of vacation time (I was out of the state and unable to change my flights). At no point did they apologize or offer a discount (something I think is more than justified since they were so late already). Overall, it was a less than stellar experience. If you have a standard job and don’t care much about (or need) a lot of communication, then I think you could be very pleased with their work. ~~~

  Hi Lauren - yes I see now in our system you emailed on 9/25 and 9/29. As the owner I was personally out of town at a conference with limited service until late yesterday so trying to get back and catch up is always a task so we are not ignoring your comments by any means as it has only been 3 working days at the end of today. With a custom door there are always long lead times and I do apologize for the lack of knowledge from our employee on this to you, but the manufacturer production schedules are out of our control. However YES you are right and you should have been kept in the loop on the actual delivery date once we received that so you knew well in advance on the correct timeline. Again that same employee also assumed we could easily get a delivery of the unit the day we he notified you without checking first with the supplier, another error on his part so again we apologize! But here at KTM we do thank you for your business and notifying us of these issue so we can correct them moving forward. Also Thank you for touching on the more important issues in your review that we were priced reasonably and the quality of the work was good and at the end of the day we hustled and moved things around to accommodate the day we said and the work was completed that day as promised!

  We set up an appointment for an estimate. I work overnight, so I didn’t rest enough in order to meet our appointments at 11am. I waited and waited. Not even a phone call to reschedule. I will not use them, first impression is everything to me. I don’t and will never again chase down contractors. I made that promise to myself years ago.

  We had our roof replaced today and couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. The crew showed up when they said they would, finished in one day, and did an amazing job. What impressed us most was how careful they were with our property. They took the time to protect all of our plants, outdoor furniture, and decorations, and when they were finished, they cleaned up so thoroughly you'd never know a roofing crew had been there. They also helped us pick a shingle color that matched our house and shutters perfectly, and the finished look is even better than we imagined. A big thank you to Jay for suggesting we match the shed roof in the backyard as well—that little detail really tied everything together and made a huge difference. Replacing a roof is a big investment, so finding a company that does exactly what they promise means a lot. Great communication, great workmanship, and a beautiful result. We're extremely happy with our new roof and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for roofing work.

  I cannot say enough positive about this company. We had a new roof installed for a very reasonable price but what stood out the most was the work ethic. They came the day they said they would be there, which is pretty much unheard of in this industry. Our roof looks amazing and they left our yard cleaner than when they came. 1,000 % recommend this team for any remodeling or maintenance needs. I will challenge you to find a better company!!!!!

  KTM Exteriors was definitely the right choice for the replacing of my shingles from beginning to end so professional before leaving in the evening everything was cleaned up like they weren’t even there It was a big project. I would recommend them to everybody I know.
