The one and two-star reviews, first. These are what a star average hides, and they are the reason this page exists.

Absolutely terrible. My 102 year grandmother had a section of roof replaced by them for a single leak. Well now she has three large leaks in that area. I contacted them and they came out to fix. Never got fixed. I called again and showed them the issues. The owner tried to get me to have additional work done and claimed he did not remember doing this roof. Told me he thought his workers did it behind his back, until the man with him said he remember it. The owner said he would send someone out in next few days. No one ever showed and now I can't even get a call back. Problem never fixed and he scammed an elderly woman.

Jake's did an absolutely superb job on my over 5000 sq ft flat roof in the Reno area. They fought wind, showed up each day and worked their butts off and were thorough and professional to a tee. Darin and his crew are tops and the results are as well. Highly recommended! HUEY B.

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 5 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 5, of which 4 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
There is not much data on Jake's Roofing & Coating. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
