  The worst experience with a salesperson and subcontractor ever. You can't even reach a human in Canada! Once they have your money they wont return to finish the job. Untrustworthy Unreliable. 5 YEARS LATER, I finally received a cookie cutter response to my review! And our roof issues have never been resolved. These folks are not honest, reliable or trustworthy.

  Installed my roof and was later told there was a design flaw. They tore off my roof and reinstalled the same flawed (LIFETIME) roof. They left it worse than the original installation and now have ignored my calls to fix there (LIFETIME GUARANTEE ROOF SYSTEM). The manufacturer admitted to me they have a flaw in the design and yet they still install these interlock roof systems. Harris and Carlos do not HONOR their guaranteed roof

  Update: Just don't use the warranty! Lies and stalling are what you get. Did not cover mold removal even when it was because they installed new roof plywood all the way to the ridge and did NOT leave any gap for air flow out the ridge. Horrible communication and no paperwork for the claim to prove anything. Interlock knew they were wrong and would not fix everything. Would not use them again since the warranty was a big part of the value. Just stay away! ____________________________ Old: We just had our interlock slate roof installed. What a great install team, polite, good quality work, had people there to only do clean up all day long, and fast. They answered any questions we had on the install and addressed things right away we wanted changed. We are so happy with the product and the install left our porch cleaner than when they started! So happy with it and highly recommend the company. Quality product and install team.

  Update: I take this all back. Shady business practices who don’t honor paying people who provide them a service. I have been working with Interlock for the past 6 months providing them with video & photography of their completed installs. I really love the way these roofs look. I've the opportunity to see various styles and colors and am constantly astonished how they improve the look of each house. Using a drone to take these images allows me to see all angles and get up close to the work. The craftsmanship is top notch and the people I have worked with are fantastic. If you are thinking about a metal roof, give these guys a chance!

  I am amending my previous 5 star review of this company. We had our roof installed in April. Initially very pleased with our roof. However, we discovered a leak on Friday. We contacted Interlock immediately upon discovery. I received a call Monday am stating that they would try to get someone out. We initially felt confident that they would rectify the issue. I recalled on Tuesday, because we had no communication. A crew and the manager (Paul) arrived late in the afternoon. They could not determine exactly where the leak was coming from, but they caulked some seams and Paul assured us he would come out the next day for follow-up as it was expected to rain. NO call NO show on Wednesday. On Thursday, we recalled that no on had come and in fact the leak was getting worse. Friday, a different crew came to my home. They arrived at approximately 10 am - they worked on the outside for several hours. I got a knock on my door at approximately 3pm that the skylight was broken and that was the cause of the leak, but they had nothing to do with it! Of note, the skylight is on a lower roof and that is the area that this crew spent several hours - not a big space, looking for the cause of the leak and it took them this long to discover??? Or did they create more of an issue. They are now saying that it must be our toilet that is leaking (except some of the water would be flowing up from the toilet on to the wall behind it with NO water on the tile). We have just been in touch with the original contractor of our home who confirms no plumbing on the outside walls; so our toilet pipes are not leaking. We spent A LOT on this roof so we would not have issues with leaks and now, they are not standing by the installation of there product.

  In response to the customer’s concerns. We have gone out to their home on multiple occasions and inspected the relevant areas of the roof. Corrective measures have been made and both the homeowner and we agree that the source of the leak has been found. We are currently working thru the process for the interior damage. As for the skylights, they were old, and our service tech demonstrated on site to the homeowner that the skylights should be repaired due to their age. They have agreed. Situations happen and we thank the customer for working with us to make them just as satisfied as they were when the roof was first installed. Of course, if any relevant concerns on their roof come up in the future, we are here to stand behind our workmanship and warranty.   I have held off sending this review in the hopes that after filling out Interlock's customer satisfaction survey someone would reach out to me to discuss/address my concerns with our roof installation. No one has contacted me. Interlock roofing is not the cheapest option for roofing. My wife & I decided to spend considerably more to have it placed because we care about our home and were impressed by the product. When we decided to pay extra for a premium product we expected good if not great customer service. That wasn't the case. There are a lot of adjectives I could use to describe our installation manager, Paul McLaughlin. Suffice it to say our experience attempting to work with him was horrible. We had issues with damage to our Hardie board siding during installation where it met the roof (I've attached images below). Multiple areas of the house siding were fractured. I understand that in the course of any project damages can and will occur. My issue was that when I called to discuss the siding and express my concerns, Paul was nonresponsive, dismissive of the issue, rude to my wife and refused to look at the property or even listen to our concerns. He accused me of not wanting to pay my bill even though we paid in cash & on time. Interestingly, he had no problem coming to the house unannounced when I wasn't home to take pictures of the roof using a drone for advertising purposes which gave me the impression he was more interested in advancing his own interests then listening & working with his customers to ensure they were satisfied. Ultimately the crew that was subcontracted to install the roof patched up the damages however Paul never came to the house to see what had happened and verify the repairs were done correctly. He didn't care and couldn't be bothered. For this reason and this reason alone I would not and have not recommended friends to work with the company.   View full response: https://link.newenglandmetalroofing.com/mene22002 We are sorry that the Murphy’s feel that they were not taken seriously about their concerns and lapse in communication. The photos previously shown were taken during the installation process and yes, some of the cement siding boards were broken at the time of installation. This can happen when removing existing roofing systems (in this case composite/asphalt) and extending flashing behind the siding in a sidewall application. This process must be carried out to complete the interface of the roofing and siding systems. During the roofing process some of the cement board siding pieces were replaced and the roofing project was completed. These pieces of cement board siding and the labor to replace them were done free of charge as part of the reroof contract. No additional charges of any type were added to the Murphy’s contract. We have attached several pictures to show the final project. We stand behind our product and labor and will of course come back to the property should anything arise in the future. The Interlock Aluminum Roof has been installed now for 14 months having gone thru a Harsh New England Winter and we have not heard of any concerns with their roofing system. In fact, the final project was signed off and the contract paid in full back at the time of completion. Our objective remains the same – Providing a Permanent Roofing Solution.   Hired them to install a new roof. Did not show up on scheduled day. When I called at about 10am I was told the company they got did not have insurance and was waiting for paperwork. Would you want that company to work for you? So far no one got back to me 11am. I want to cancel my contract. I thought they had their own crews. Apparently they are just jobbers who hire the work out.

  Our original roof that was installed in 2011 is fine but, like other reviewers, it has been impossible to get a quote for a roof on an addition we are planning. The contractor has tried multiple times to get a quote and was repeatedly told they would relay to request. When he got no where, I called and was told Jennifer, the installation coordinator, was out sick but they would send her an email. They agreed to cc me on the email but they never did. Just tried calling and had to leave a voice message. Does your company want more business or not?!

  This has been one of our best investments ever. It wasn’t perfect when they finished but the after installation follow up has been. Navir always has been very professional, friendly and polite. I always have tried to tip him, he never accepts it but is grateful for the offer. I highly recommend this company.

  The install team did a fantastic job stripping off our old roof and putting down our new aluminum roof. They worked every day for 2 straight weeks nearly 12hrs a day. They are skilled and dedicated.

  Technician went above and beyond. He had to resecure my gutter before fixing my damaged shingles. The repair looks like they had never been damaged. Super nice gentlemen. So glad I purchased my roof through Interlock back in 2004!
