  This company is only out to over charge and gouge every roof they quote. Call ANY ELSE in Alaska for your roofing needs. Anyone who used them over paid. Sorry. Posting here to hopefully not use them by reading all of their bad reviews. …

Our records show we provided a complimentary estimate for storm-related repairs, which you approved and canceled the next day, prior to any work being performed. For clarity, estimates can vary significantly depending on the scope of work, materials, safety requirements, warranty included, and scheduling availability at the time. What may appear to be the same repair is often approached very differently from one contractor to another. Factors such as licensing, insurance coverage, safety standards, and overall scope all influence pricing, as can project timing and scheduling requests.   So after the windstorm last winter, I get some roof damage and literally have to spend the next several months even finding someone to return my call. Holland calls me up and tells me they are really backed up like everyone else and the earliest they could book me would be October. Having been looking for months for anyone, I tell them I'll take it. They then tell me I'll have an estimate in a couple weeks which i accept and assume will be close to the insurance estimate. They call me back today (1 1/2 months later) telling me they can't come out. They claim it's a misunderstanding. I don't think it's that simple.

  Rotten Receptionist. I called with legit question just wanting to pick someone brain who is a professional that does roofing. The woman who answered the phone was so rude I thought she was making a joke. It quickly became clear she wasn’t joking as the silence spoke loudly. I reintroduced myself stating I’m a insurance professional and just wanted to ask a question to one of the roofing professionals but if she has an issue with it I can just contact another roofing company, hoping she would show signs of a heartbeat, but she doubled down and said “yea looks like you better do that” yikes.. customer service really died in 2020

  It appears, based on the reviews you are posting to us and others this afternoon, that you are having a bad day. We understand you felt our receptionist was rude. She has been fielding pointless, random sales calls that have nothing to do with roofing from traveling salesmen like yourself. Her lack of patience with these calls has increased.   I could not be happier about the roof replacement by Holland Roofing. I was out of town when they started the job, they kept me informed of any unusual items and discovered damage. All was taken care of professionally and job well done. Highly recommend them

  They were able to fit us in at the last minute for a roof inspection before we purchased our home. They also sent us a detailed report of their findings the very next day. They were professional, timely, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend them.

  Great outfit. Thank you and to your crew, they did a great job roofing my home. Customer service was perfect. Lots of communication. Field crews were very polite and professional. They even assisted above and beyond while they were working on our home. I appreciated the cleanup that was done at the end of each day. I highly recommend Holland Roofing to anyone who is considering replacing their roof.

  We were very happy with the speed and cleanliness of the job the crew did. They found rotten beams and fixed those which added a bit more time to the job, but we are glad to know the job was done right. From Michelle to every member of the crew, all were very friendly. It was amazing that they cheerfully worked at below zero.

  We had some minor wind damage to our roof from the latest windstorms. I called over 10 roof repair shops in Anchorage and described the damage. The answers I got ranged from we only do new installs, we are booked for the year, the job is too small as described. I was walking through my neighborhood with my dogs and walked by Holland roofing so decided to send them an email. They responded very quickly with a minimum estimate and said they would put me on the list. The estimate seemed on the high side to me so I sent them a picture of the damage and gave them a call. They were friendly and justified the estimate which was sound. I was courteous and just explained I understand everything is expensive and everybody is busy but that we are neighbors and live right down the street. We reviewed the pictures of the damage and were able to come to a price agreement that worked for both of us knowing if there was damage I had missed then the estimate will go up. We waited less then 3 weeks and the team showed up, fixed the damage, and checked on the rest of the roof for us to make sure there was not anymore damage. Customer service is hard to come by in Anchorage and I think it has to do with both sides being frustrated. 1 polite conversation and understanding from both sides goes along way. Holland roofing is very professional and courteous. I will use them for any future roofing problems I have and would recommend them to everyone. Thank you Holland Roofing!

  Holland Roofing replaced our old roof about eleven years ago. They were wonderful!! Our roof is still beautiful and has held up beautifully in some very harsh weather and winds!! Thank you Holland Roofing!!!
