Kevin went above and beyond in fixing our tiled roof, especially a challenging curved section. His expertise was evident from the start, and the final result exceeded our expectations. He also followed up with us over email to confirm that …

We have used many roofers over the years. Historical Slate Roofing is by far the best. They are responsive, they come when they say they will, they do excellent work, and their prices are fair. I highly recommend them!

We have a 100 year old slate roof, and there aren't a lot of people that can work on it. Kevin has been great when we have had leaks from age or weather, and he's always been prompt in responding. Repairs are done well and for a good price. Recommend.

We have owned our house for 50 years. During that time we had a recurring roof leak over many years. We tried many slate roofers, none of whom were able to fix the leak. We finally used Kevin Williams Jr, who diagnosed the leak accurately and fixed it so that the problem has disappeared. We have continued to depend on his excellent knowledge and work to keep our slate roof in top shape.

I had a very good experience with Historical Slate as a first time client. They made some repairs to our roof and also installed a chimney cap. A ceiling leak that had been an issue for a long time has resolved since they did the work. …

Did a nice job replacing copper gutters and salvaging what they could from the existing downspouts. Also replaced and repaired some missing and broken slate shingles. Retained the original character of my 95 year old tudor. Neat, clean, on time and on budget.

Kevin Williams and his crew were fantastic. Kevin is prompt, professional, and honest. After a few slate roofing companies told me I needed to replace my whole roof, Kevin said this was a waste and totally unnecessary, and quoted me for …

Kevin was great to work with — very responsive, willing to share photos of the work in progress on a third story roof, and knowledgeable about appropriate slates for the job. During his evaluation, he also identified and repaired missing roof caps and a turret that needed reflashing (he also included photos of those areas which were inaccessible to us). We would use his company again.

Kevin climbed up on the roof to inspect the area that was leaking. He diagnosed the problem and took pictures to help explain the situation to us. We had four other quotes. No one climbed up to assess the problem. Their estimated costs …
