i had a roofing company handle several projects at my home, including a section of roof replacement, new vinyl soffits, and rebuilding a covered porch with composite decking and new columns to replace old rotted ones. the workmanship was excellent, and i really liked working with miguel and his crew. they explained the roofing and exterior work in simple terms, kept the job site organized, and made sure the new roof section tied in well with the rest of the house. later, i noticed a little rot near the bottom of the porch columns and reached out to miguel. i was not in a rush, and he was very responsive and followed through as promised. within a reasonable time, miguel replaced the columns with composite ones that should last a very long time. it was clear the company stands behind its roofing, exterior materials, and labor. sometimes small issues can come up on any home improvement job, but what really matters is how a contractor responds. in this case, the service was professional, honest, and dependable from start to finish. i can say this roofing company stands out for quality work, strong communication, and backing up their craftsmanship. i highly recommend miguel and his team in Columbus for roofing and related exterior repairs.

Would definitely recommend this roofing company. We had two tricky roof leaks, and after getting several high-priced estimates that felt inconsistent from other roofers, we reached out here. Miguel came out the very next day for a free …

After a recommendation from our neighbors, we reached out for a new roof and gutter replacement in Columbus. Miguel came out the next day, inspected everything, and provided a clear quote. On install day, Miguel stopped by as the roofing job got started to make sure everything was on track. Our townhouse roof was replaced in about 4 hours, and the roofing crew did an excellent job from start to finish. They also handled cleanup very well and left the property neat. Miguel kept us updated through the whole process and made everything easy to understand. We really appreciated the before-and-after photos, which showed the quality of the roof and gutter work in detail. The whole experience felt smooth, professional, and friendly, and we would gladly use them again for any future roofing, gutter, or exterior home projects.

10 stars! I called a few roofing companies from a Google search, and Hernandez & Sons Roofing was the only one that answered right away. Miguel personally took the call, came out quickly to inspect the roof, and gave me a fair quote for the …

i have used Hernandez & Sons Roofing before, and after seeing the roofing work done on my first home and my parents’ home, they were still my first choice when it was time to replace the roof on my current house in Columbus. They really make the whole process feel easy and smooth from beginning to end. Every time, the customer service has been top notch, and they have always been quick to help with any roof repair or full roof replacement needs. The workmanship is excellent, and miguel helped me from start to finish, including working through the gaps with my insurance company so everything stayed on track. The crew went above and beyond during the repair and replacement of my roof. They finished the job in just one day, did a great cleanup, and made sure the property looked neat when they left. I chose a 50-year designer shingle in a dark blue color, and it looks perfect with my stone home. The new roof not only looks great but also gives me peace of mind knowing it is built to handle Ohio weather, including heavy rain, wind, and seasonal temperature changes. i am very happy with the results and the whole experience. i would definitely use them again.

My roof started leaking badly around the chimney during a stretch of heavy summer rain in Columbus. The chimney is large, has an uneven natural stone surface, and comes up through the middle of the roof, so the flashing work around it was …

miguel was very professional and did great work on my roof. i had another roofer tell me we needed a full $20k roof replacement, but Hernandez & Sons Roofing came out and checked everything carefully. he found that the main issue was just the flashing around the chimney and a repair was all that was needed right now. he also explained that the roof will likely need to be replaced later, but we still have a few good years left. i really appreciated the honesty and straight answers. it meant a lot to have someone take the time to inspect the shingles, flashing, and problem areas instead of pushing a full replacement right away. the repair was done well, the work area was kept clean, and the whole process felt fair and trustworthy. after dealing with so many contractors, this experience restored my faith in honest decent people. photos show the roof repair in progress.

I got six quotes for a roof replacement, and this roofing contractor stood out right away. Their estimate was the most affordable from the start, and I was able to upgrade the shingles for much less than the other roofers were charging. The …

I’m very happy with the roofing work from Hernandez & Sons Roofing. Miguel did a great job, and the new roof looks excellent. The gutters were also installed the right way, which gave me a lot more confidence in the overall quality of the job. He took the time to point out a few issues from the earlier roof work that had been overlooked, including the ridge caps not matching the Class IV roofing system. Miguel corrected those details, and now everything looks much better and makes sense once it’s explained. It’s clear he knows roofing well, pays attention to the important parts, and does the work the right way. I would definitely keep his number and strongly recommend him.

My home in Columbus was getting older and really needed some exterior updates. The roof was more than 20 years old, and the old siding was worn out, peeling, and in rough shape after years without much upkeep. i mainly decided to replace the roof to help lower my homeowners insurance, and i also wanted to learn more about new siding options because the existing boards were no longer holding up well. i reached out to a few contractors for estimates, but Hernandez & Sons Roofing stood out right away. Miguel was honest, easy to talk to, and explained both the roofing and siding work in simple terms. The pricing made sense, and the full package for the roof, siding, and gutters was a great value, so i felt comfortable moving forward that same day. The roof crew did excellent work, stayed organized, and kept the job site clean. Any question or small concern i had was handled quickly and professionally. The siding installation was finished smoothly, and the new gutters were the perfect final touch. my house now looks fresh, updated, and almost brand new. The office team was also very helpful and quick to answer questions, help with scheduling, and keep everything on track from start to finish. i have already recommended them to neighbors because the workmanship, communication, and follow-up were all outstanding. You can trust the quality of their roofing work and the way they stand behind the whole project.
