  When I moved to my home 5 years ago, I had Hackman SmartRoof inspect it, replace the vent stack boot, replace the ridge vent and seal around the chimneys. I was happy with their work and intended to get skylights and a sunroom roof from them. But after Hurricane Ida, my roof had a major leak and a smaller leak and I had them out to fix it. They fixed the major one, but the smaller one is still leaking. They also told me that my roof shingles were fine, but they weren't installed correctly and I'd need a new roof to fix it properly. Three weeks later, I noticed 2 more leaks, in addition to the small one from before. I called them again, and they couldn't check it for several weeks. The roofer was here today. He said that not only can he not fix ANY of my leaks, he also would not replace my roof, because they insure their work and my chimneys made from field-stone are too problematic. So he left and I still have 3 large leaks. Needless to say, Hackman has lost my business. I will find someone else to do my roof and later my skylights.

  Hackman replaced our roof shingles and did a great job. Prior to that they came on short notice to look at our roof leak. The temporary repair stopped the leak right away. Our gutters have a guard they installed to keep leaves out, works great. They do dependable work, done right the first time.

  The workers were on time and completed the roof in 24 hours, literally. Did a great job with the roof, cleaning, and follow-up. Price was reasonable and in line with other vendors. They provided a very detailed, full proposal and did what they said. Very happy with the outcome.
