  Avoid this company, they are fraudulent! I had a leak and they came out to look at it. The man said he was the owner. When he was here he said he could fix it for me, but I need an entire new roof. He "proved it" by showing me where shingles were lifting. I had only just moved in and had the building inspected including the roof and the inspection went very well. I then got a second opinion and that too said the roof looked good. After hearing Golden Rule told me I needed a new roof, the inspector brought his roofer out to have a look. His roofer indicated that the roof had at least another 7-10 years in it, and also showed me evidence of force used where the shingles were lifting. It appeared someone had very recently forced the shingles up. Golden Rule took an emergency and used it to try to fraud me out of an entire new roof. They damaged my property to try to "prove it". DO NOT use this company, they are not at all trustworthy.

  Very good sales job but very poor delivery. Leaks and water damage following their job. Refused to remediate and had to contact my lawyer. Was informed that if I allowed the situation to deteriorate I would be responsible and had to have the entire job done again by anther company which documented the poor workmanship! NEVER AGAIN!!!

  Brendan seemed great at first.... The crews never installed the vents for my bathroom and kitchen as per the work order, and despite me calling them several times, they havent fixed it. The facia boards weren't all replaced, and the ones that were were all cut funny, like they had never done it before. I also have several scraps of hanging plastic trapped under flashing. Looks terrible. I also had complaints from all of my neighbours about a profanity-laden screaming match between Brendan and his crew while on the job site. Not professional at all. Will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

  Doesn't return e-mails pertaining to get a job quote. Would hate to have a job done by this company and not be able to get a response for warranty work. Not recommended.

  Got a roof done by these jokers - tons of problems. They refused to fix. As soon as the warranty expired they told me I needed another roof and tried to package sell it, even though I had an extended warranty! Never again! I have spoken to a ton of people around town and they all say 'shady' stay away.

  Hi Josef, It sounds like you’ve reviewed the wrong company: We haven’t been in business long enough to have installed a roof that’s past its 15 year warranty!   Brendan was very helpful and fast with his assessment of our roof. He worked with us to come up with a solution for our leaking roof that would help us get a little bit longer out of it. He has been very professional and responsive in communicating with us.

  Brendan and his team did an absolutely incredible job. Their attention to detail, and ability to fix problems on the go is second to non. Our roof was leaking as the previous roofer did not install anything properly. This caused water to seep through the decking, and caused further damage and rot to the trusses. Once Brendan and his team tore the old roof off, we discovered how bad the situation was. His team was able to fix Everything. They completely cleaned the attic space, replaced the rotten trusses, and did a great install. They used premium materials and their care about doing a perfect job shows. They left no mess, and provided my family with a solid roof. Thank you for everything!

  Amazing company to work with, they treated our home and our roof as if it was their own. We were really impressed with the quality, the workers and the attention to detail! And the fact they came in on time and on budget! Highly recommend this wonderful company.

  Although we were surprised at the total cost of our repairs, the photos convinced us that we had significant damage which has been corrected. I recommend them as they were quick to reply to our phone call and the work began within 24 hours. They cleaned up afterwards, removing all dropped nails and screws.

  I just had my roof replaced, and I am very pleased with the service I received from both Brendan and Stephen's crews. They were polite and courteous, communicated with me effectively, and demonstrated a genuine concern for my home and my property. I think you will be hard pressed to find roofers who care more about doing good work, or who have a comparable level of attention to detail. Highly recommended.

  The guys did a fantastic job. On time, as described. They went above and beyond to clean up and make sure the job was done with excellence. Even had neighbours comment on how great the guys were while working on the project. They took pride in the job and did great work.

  Brendan was great. When we found out we needed a whole new roof, he broke the news lightly and honestly. He explained exactly what the issues were and answered all our questions. He is Very informed and profesional. Also, got the job done quick and painlessley with his crew, at a rate that seemed fair. I would reccommend Golden Rule!
