  My husband and I were disappointed with them. No follow through. The initial appointment should have been a red flag. They changed the initial appointment three times. We finally got them on a zoom call at 6pm. We were supposed to have a follow up appointment today at 11am on zoom (a week later). We finally received a call from someone in the office at 1125am saying oh our systems put someone else in your appointment time. We told her no we wouldn't be using them since it's concerning how the zoom appointment follow through is difficult. She hung up. Great customer service (sarcasm).

  Thank you for your feedback. I sincerely apologize for missing your appointment and understand why you were disappointed. As the owner of GIANT, my first responsibility is to our current customers. With the potential for seven inches of rain in the forecast, I was in the field supporting our crews to ensure our customers' homes were protected. Unfortunately, while updating my schedule, I accidentally entered the wrong information because we had another customer with the same name in our system. Our office then contacted the wrong customer the night before, leaving a voicemail to reschedule. The mistake was mine, and I'm truly sorry. While I understand why this left a poor first impression, it is not representative of the level of service we strive to provide. I appreciate your feedback and wish you the very best with your project.

  ***** AWFUL EXPERIENCE — DO NOT USE ***** This contractor delivered unacceptable work and left us dealing with major problems that required extensive re-work at our own expense. We documented the issues with photos and videos and repeatedly, over the course of months, attempted to resolve the situation professionally, but received little to no meaningful response. Communication eventually stopped entirely, including no response to attorney outreach. And then they removed this review from their page! I would strongly recommend to AVOID THIS CONTRACTOR.

  GIANT Siding & Windows takes customer concerns seriously, which is why we promptly performed a site visit after being contacted regarding conditions discovered months after project completion. At the completion of the siding and window project, the homeowner expressed satisfaction with the work performed and originally posted a 5-star review regarding their experience with our company. Months later, after excavation work and removal of masonry performed by others around multiple sides of the home, deteriorated structural areas were discovered below grade and behind areas that were never exposed during our siding and window installation. Our scope of work did not include excavation, removal of structural sheathing, structural investigation, or foundation/drainage remediation. During our site visit, it was also discussed that the property had experienced pre-existing water and drainage issues prior to our work, and prior efforts had reportedly been made to address those conditions. While we respectfully disagree with several statements and conclusions made in this review, we remain committed to handling the matter professionally, factually, and respectfully

  Caveat emptor. Giant Siding and Windows installed all our windows and new siding on a home we renovated from top to bottom. At the time, we thought they did a great job. That was in 2012, so about 12.5 years ago. The windows, we were told, came with a lifetime warranty, and Perry told us that even if a baseball were to break one of our windows that it would be replaced. The only issue now is that the company Perry got windows from, Thermal Industries, is no longer in business and Perry will not honor any warranty for the windows. As you can see, the caulking is coming out and this is really an installation issue that Perry and Giant should have fixed when I first brought this to their attention, more than a year or two ago. I guess providing good customer service is not worth their time. There were other issues over the years. The siding seemed to pull away from the house. I will add those pics later. Now, most recently, I need to replace a couple of the cranks handles (we have all casement windows) and cannot get them because Thermal Industries is out of business. In 2018, Thermal industries shipped me two handles, and I picked up the $25 shipping and handling. When I turned to Perry and Giant, and Perry has not returned a call of mine in a couple of years, they did not have any solutions for replacing a broken handle. Mind you, that when the windows and siding were originally installed my wife, who literally felt as if she was on her death bed, wrote a rave review for Perry and Giant. That was then. This is now, and this is the reality. Proceed with caution. Note that the reply from Perry and Giant fails to address their lack of a response to our calls, and that is inexcusable.

As a small business, we warrant our labor, while the products themselves are covered under the respective manufacturer's warranty. Unfortunately, we are not liable in the event that a manufacturer goes out of business. It's also important to note that exterior caulk typically lasts between 5-10 years on average, depending on various environmental factors such as weather exposure. Our labor warranty at the time of your project was 2 years, which has since expired as 13 years have passed. We regret any inconvenience or frustration this situation may cause. While the current issue falls outside of our labor warranty and liability regarding the manufacturer's warranty, we value your past business and the positive experience you had with us previously

  Very unprofessional, instead of sending someone out to look at a job like most contractors, Giant insists on a Zoom call. Their office staff said that the only way to proceed was a Zoom call and that if I did not want to have a Zoom call, then I should find someone else. I should have taken her advice. After I reached out to the owner, he agreed to send someone out. After a week goes by, still no proposal and both the owner and estimator are dodging my calls. Finally the owner gets back to me and tells me that my job is too small… If it was too small a job, why wouldn’t the estimator say that while he was there and try to upsell me and tell me the minimum they have to do especially after we specifically discussed that I would need to redo the rest of the siding in the next few years-just not too smart. Considering he bad mouthed all his competitors and according to him he is the only qualified installer of James Hardie, I guess I’ll just have to learn to do it myself.

  Michael I am very sorry to hear that your experience with our company and our technician was not to your satisfaction. We did do what was in our contract, however if you're not happy or satisfied we aren't either. We have been back more than once, to show you that we did indeed insulate. However I would be more than happy to come back again , remove any insulation you feel wasn't done to satisfaction, and re-insulate.   Don't use Giant! My roof shingles have been lifting since day one. My roof looks awful and Perry has a million excuses why the shingles are lifting. He has come to reglue the shingles and they continue to lift. The shingles were not properly installed, but Perry refuses to admit it.

  VIctoria, We installed your Roof and Siding about 2 years ago. You have never had a leak, you have never had shingles blow off, and your siding has continued to look beautiful and perform as designed. You brought up your concern about a small section of roof shingles not laying and sealing. We arranged for the roofing manufacturer's rep to meet at the house with you and me. At that time we agree on a plan. First we would manually seal some shingles. We did that. Second we agreed, if the issue persisted you would contact us, and we would replace that section of roofing. 8 months later, rather than contact us as agreed you posted a mean spirited review and sent a late night threatening text to my personal cell phone We will continue to stand by our work, and our commitment to professionalism and reach out to you today to schedule replacement of the shingles that are of concern. *update. The shingles/section of concern were all removed and replaced with new shingles.

  I've called the hotline more than a dozen times with no one who's returned my call to even come to my home to see what's going on. I even called the owner since July, it's now October. EVERYONE at GIANT has pushed me off. I have to resort to my last option - a negative rating. Which I never have actually had to do before. We had siding done by Giant in 2018 and it came out fine. Disclaimer - they provide only a 5 year warranty on labor - buyer beware! We need trim replaced on the front door and window (where a tree fell) and I can't get them to come out to do the replacement for anything. I'm willing to pay if needed. But still to this day - 4 months later have gotten 0 calls back to schedule any sort of an appointment. I retain why I am posting - They have been completely unresponsive.

  Hi Dawn This is simply not true. I have responded to you multiple times. At the this time we are unable to come do a repair for this. You're also being untruthful about the scope. You had another contractor install your storm door and he damaged your door trim. Neither tree damage, or other people's work is covered under a normal warranty. Further more your 2yr labor warranty expired in 2020. With all of that said, I will repeat what I have already told you multiple times, we are happy to come and do repair work for you, but we can't get to you until the end of our season

  The guys at the Giant Siding and Windows just completed a James Hardie siding replacement project on our house last week. The end result is just great: the house now looks like a new one, sharp with clean lines and sleek corners. We are quite happy that we did this project with Giant. The whole team, managed by Chris and supervised by Jose, worked very hard for a total of eleven days, in hot temperature and in occasional rain. They worked like a true team, each working hard at his own assignement, but always cooperating with each other when needed. At the end of each day, they would do a cleanup of the worksite so it was safe for us to walk around in the evenings. Chris was on top of things and was very responsive to our inquiries and questions. He came to the site quite a few times during the project to check on the progress and to address any concerns or questions we had. He is always very pleasant to talk to. We are quite satisfied with Chris, Jose and his team for all the work they had done to bring this project to a smooth completion.

Alfonse was always very responsive, professional, and attentive throughout the entire process. The crew led by Jose was skilled and courteous. A pleasure to work with.   We recently hired Giant Siding and Windows for a complete James Hardie shingle siding and gutter project, and they exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Our project manager, Chris, was absolutely fantastic. He was incredibly communicative, checking in daily to keep us updated on the progress, answer questions, and ensure everything was running on schedule. His attention to detail and consistent presence gave us peace of mind throughout the entire process. The installation crew, led by Pablo, did excellent, high-quality work. The precision and craftsmanship they displayed with the Hardie shingles transformed the look of our home. To top it off, when we needed masonry work done alongside the siding project, they gave us a great recommendation for a local mason, saving us the stress of vetting someone else. If you are looking for a reliable, highly skilled, and professional team for your home renovation, we cannot recommend Giant Siding and Windows enough!

  We had interviewed with five different companies prior to meeting with Giant and the experience up to that point had been frustrating, with poor pricing transparency, poor customer service, and very pushy sales people. After our first meeting with Giant, we knew instantly that we were dealing with a professional, local company with extensive experience and personable empathetic customer service. We decided to contract with Giant Windows and Siding for window replacement and fiber cement siding replacement. The windows are Marvin Brand and although there were a couple of quality control issues, the project manager Chris was very responsive in finding durable solutions for each issue. For siding, we chose John Hardie brand fiber cement. The siding crew is phenomenal. The siding team members are professional, dedicated, precise, and execute a superior result. The project course was not without challenges, but the entire team and project manager Chris were very intentional in receiving feedback and are solution minded. Our family is very happy with the result and we are very pleased with our customer experience. Rank window service 4/5, Siding service 5/5, overall experience rating 5/5. Don't go through the torture of searching any further, call GIANT!

  We had an incredibly positive experience redoing the siding and windows on our home. The day-to-day communication was clear, proactive and thoughtful.
