Freedom Roofing, Windows and Siding LLC

The only one or two-star review we hold for Freedom Roofing, Windows and Siding LLC.

We had new windows put in our home by Freedom Roofing Windows and Siding. It was a nightmare. I should have cancelled the project when they came out FIVE times to measure for windows by several different people. I thought they were being thorough but it actually meant they had NO IDEA how to measure. Well now we’ve spent months arguing with them about the windows not being the appropriate size because after they installed them, my siding DID NOT fit. They are literally off by 1-2 inches. The project manager’s explanation was that “sometimes that happens” which was utter BS because I’m quite confident he knew he messed up royally and didn’t want to have to deal with it. He said they would not replace all the windows. We had another contractor come out and pull the window apart and basically said it was wrong and he measured them all wrong. I even questioned him during the installation when two of the windows were grossly undersized and they didn’t nail one side of the windows to the house, so he used spray foam to fill in the gap and drilled screws through the side of the frame and said that’s how you fix it. They also did a horrific job of installing an exterior door which they came back and fixed. Well they came and replaced those two windows. Josh had them to agree to fix 13 more but we are over it & i dont need mis-matched windows all over. So we decided we would just have to reside the entire house because it’s hurricane season and I’ve got siding loose around every window. We consulted an attorney who we can’t afford, with 3k retainer and 300 an hour (and an unknown amount of hours it would take) and their home office is in Ohio so we’d have to probably get another attorney in Ohio for that with no guarantee we’d ever see any money from them for their epic failure. To top it off it’s a Veteran Owned Company who totally screwed over two veterans. So lesson learned and do NOT recommend Freedom Roofing Windows and Siding out of New Bern NC for any jobs!

Great company """ I contacted them with a request for support information on the repair of my windows found during a home inspection during the sale of the house. The District Sales Manager Mr. Rob Coffman help me set a reasonable baseline on the requested repairs to allow for a credible counter offer. He did this with no expectation of business. His help was completely selfless and his input helped me understand a very confusing financial request that was being made, allowing me to complete the sale of the house without any unnecessary and unwarranted expense. This is a company which has the bigger picture in mind and truly is a company that can be trusted.

We couldn't be more pleased with the service and outcome of both our siding and roof. Freedom Roofing pricing was half of their competitors, Mike took the time to understand our needs and had a genuine care to meet our intentions. The entire Freedom team was professional and worked tirelessly to meet the deadline despite weather delays. The end product was more than we could ask for, it was evident they cared more about the customer than the bottom dollar. We have and will continue to recommend Freedom Roofing, Windows and Siding to friends and family, we'll be using Freedom in the coming months to install our new windows.
