You pushed for more than the job ever included, didn’t get your way, and now you’re spinning a story to cover it. The truth is already in the review. And please stop with the ChatGPT-written novels. it’s obvious. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Original review: Fossil Ridge Roofing did complete a roof replacement, and the roof itself turned out fine (we think). The issues came when the company filed supplements to our insurance for work that was never performed, (pictures of work they claimed they fixed and proof it wasn’t completed) This put us in a situation we shouldn’t have been in. On top of that, the painters they sent did a sloppy, low-quality job that had to be corrected. They also burnt our lawn up by leaving medal everywhere. And here’s the part people never find out until it’s too late.. if you don’t go along with whatever they try to push, they blow up online. They get nasty, they make things up, and they will try to drag your name through the mud to cover their own mess. In my experience, it’s the definition of unprofessional. Think long and hard before hiring them.

  Jim, it’s surprising to see this review years after we completed your home — especially considering you originally left us a five-star review and thanked us repeatedly throughout the process. I still have every text message showing your appreciation. It did not take seven months to do your roof. The only delay was your insurance company, which denied your claim at first. We fought for you, got it fully bought and approved, and without that work you would have been stuck paying out of pocket. You know that. And to be completely clear — the shop not being done was your choice, not ours. You told us directly that you didn’t want to pay your deductible on that portion because the old metal shop wasn’t worth the money to you. So we bid the job without the deductible included, exactly the way you requested. There was nothing fraudulent or improper. In fact, you came out better because we helped you prioritize the part of the claim that mattered most. We also gave you screens at cost, gutters at cost, and even the painting with no markup at all. We repaired your fascia, your garage door trim, and multiple exterior areas that needed attention. We beautified your home, documented everything, and you were extremely happy when the job was completed — the texts and photos prove that. And here’s something else worth noting, Jim: after another hailstorm came through the area, you called us back out to inspect your roof again. We came out immediately, checked everything for you, and confirmed your home didn’t take significant damage in that storm. The fact that you trusted us enough to return to your property again shows exactly how you felt about our work — until recently. What makes this sudden one-star review even more unbelievable is the history. You were always riding side-by-sides with us, coming to our parties, eating our food, drinking our drinks, and enjoying our hospitality. You told us multiple times how much you missed us after your divorce from my wife’s sister.

  I live in McAlester and met Chad K., who walked me through the entire process. He is easy to work with and did most of the leg work for me.(Pictures, estimates, etc..) I love my new roof!! The crew was in and out in a day and did a great job of clean-up. If you are in need of a new roof, I highly recommend Chad Karns and Fossil Ridge!

  Chad Karns with Fossil Ridge is fantastic. Extremely professional and all around good dude! Over a 2 month period he left company hangers on my door. Called about gutter replacement. He came out to look and with his experience noted my roof was in far worse shape than I was aware. Had experienced multiple hail storms in Spring of 2026. I filed claim with insurance and after that he was the middle man until project completion. Made it easy and didn’t interrupt my personal and work schedule. Contractors did an amazing job on roof and gutters! If I am in need of this type of work again without a doubt I will call Chad Karns with Fossil Ridge. Outstanding from damage survey to completion.

  We had our roof replaced by Fossil Ridge and they did a great job! They spoke to the insurance company for us when we thought getting coverage wasn't going to work out and made the process simple and less stressful. Once the ball was rolling, they had our roof done in a day and a half- the crew did an amazing job! The roof looks great and we couldn't be happier- highly recommend!

  Fossil Ridge was fantastic to work with! Norm came out and met with our insurance adjuster. They were able to get the shingles (and other materials) in and had our roof completely done by the end of the same week! We recommend Fossil Ridge to anyone needing their roof re-done or repaired!
