I chose Feazel to replace the roofs on my house and garage because my parents had used them several times in the past and always had positive experiences. I even received a "repeat customer" discount because of that history. Unfortunately, the lower price seems to have come at the expense of quality and customer service. During the initial estimate and contract process, we specifically requested that a new chimney cap be installed. This was one of the items we discussed before signing the contract. After the roofing work was completed, I discovered that the chimney cap had not been replaced at all. The project also took two days to complete, despite being told it would be finished in one day. While delays can happen, what bothered me more was the cleanup. I was assured that Feazel takes special care to remove nails and debris from the property. As a dog owner, this was very important to me. However, within about five minutes of looking around my driveway, garage, and yard, I found approximately 20 roofing nails. Clearly, the cleanup was nowhere near as thorough as promised. Since the roof installation was completed, I have attempted to contact Feazel multiple times requesting that they return and install the chimney cap. I have even stated that I am willing to pay any associated cost for the chimney cap if necessary. Each time, I was told someone would come back and take care of it. More than two weeks later, I am still waiting. The consequences of this delay are no longer just an inconvenience. After the severe storms that moved through Columbus yesterday, rainwater and debris poured into my chimney and fireplace because there is still no chimney cap installed. To make matters worse, a squirrel was able to get into the chimney and eventually into my house. At this point, this review is my last attempt to get someone at Feazel to address an issue that should have been resolved weeks ago. I trusted this company based on my family's positive experiences, but my ex

Misleading from the start. I called to get an estimate for shingle replacement and gutters, later found out that they set me up for a presentation which I was unaware of. Derrick was at my house for 2 hours. After asking several times for the estimate for the work I wanted he kept avoiding the question. Finally he informed me that they will not just do shingles and if I used them I would have to get a new roof for over 16 thousand dollars and if I needed new wood it would be another 3500.00 l did tell him that this whole process was very dishonest and Misleading He did write the estimate but when I refused to set an appointment he told me I could not keep the estimate . Now what legitimate company would not let you keep an estimate? When it is Misleading from the start there will definitely be problems going forward...NO THANKS!!!!

Please tell the barely-of-age kids you’re sending door-to-door that if someone has a no-soliciting sign that means they shouldn’t knock on the door. These predatory practices are outdated.

When I looked into this company it was flooded with great reviews which gave me hope however that is far from my experience. When you’re looking for companies to do either a roof replacement or roof repair I’m sure you find yourself asking quite a few questions. Some might include: will I get timely responses? Will someone show up for appointments? Will the work start when paid? Well if you value any positive answers to these questions look elsewhere. It’s been three months and I still have a hole in my roof. When I ask for updates an excuse always will follow. At first it was getting my project mixed up with another. Then it was 100 vacations (I value time off just as much as the next person but not when it’s every phone call and I have rain pouring into my bedroom). Then it was the insurance company’s fault. Now it’s pulling permits, guess what you can do, check if permits have been pulled for your house. Guess what you’ll find if you go with this company no permits have been pulled for your house even though they say they’ve been working on it for a few weeks. When I get an update from scheduling they blame sales and vice versa. I have mold in the interior of my house now because the hole had been left untouched for rain to pour in any given chance due to the neglect and dragging of feet from my sales team and my roof is starting to cave in. The initial payment has been made, contract has been signed apparently the reports have been pulled and I STILL DO NOT HAVE AN UPDATE on when work will be started. Timeline: Project progress started 3/30 Contract signed and initial payment made: 5/30 Still no schedule in sight or permits pulled writing now on 7/2. Seriously please look elsewhere.

It looks like the team has been trying to get in contact with you. I witnessed one of your trucks racing another car down New Albany Rd west this evening on my drive home from work. They were both doing around 60 or 70mph. The Feazel labeled truck cut over in front of the other car to turn left onto 605. I was able to get the plate number for this truck PLS9461. This was around 5:20 this evening. Not my favorite thing to see from a company that has been in Columbus for so long.

We got a new roof from Feazel about three years ago and they completely neglected to install a crucial part - the apron flashing that prevents water from getting above the top edge of a shingle line. Our entire kitchen ceiling has water spots now, and even though they told us we were an “emergent” case, had to wait over a week for anyone to come out. Giving them one star because I like the color of our shingles, and that’s about it. Don’t waste your time.

The Art of valuing your customers over profits is a skill this company has lost. That's a shame.

Extremely expensive. Got a quote and felt rushed into moving with them, then got another quote for almost 15K less.

Got a few quotes and Feazel was competitive plus they were efficient and responsive. I largely decided on Feazel b/c I really appreciated the onsite visit by Jake Caldwell. He was excellent, and I have since referred him to 3 others who have all used him and been happy as well. I did an insurance claim and Jake walked me through the steps, reviewed the docs and worked directly with the insurance to get everything possible covered. Jake was patient/thorough in answering all of my questions. He was authentic and helpful and overall great to work with. On install day, the head project manager called me to talk through everything. Great customer service when I had a billing question. I also appreciate that Feazel is well established and growing in the area. Solid company - very happy I went with them!

Quality of product was superior over other products from other companies. Jake discussed every step of the process and answered every question we had. The Feazel crew led by Jesus took great care to cover patio items and shrubs and flowers so that nothing was damaged. They did several inspections for nails and debris. We are very satisfied and will use Feazel again.

From the beginning with the free estimate to completion of the job, Feazel did an excellent job overall. They worked with me through a family tragedy, and several other unforeseen circumstances. I would hihgly recommend their services. I closing, I believe the price I paid was very competitive as well.

Finally decided to do something about the roof and wanted to work with someone with a better reputation than the door-to-door vendors. Jean-Sebastien from Feazel scheduled a visit promptly and did a thorough job explaining what concerns he found with our existing roof and how we could address them for the long term. There was some unwelcome pressure to sign immediately, but the company had a good reputation from others we've spoken to, so we went ahead. But if you're more comfortable having multiple quotes in hand, I wouldn't get their estimate first. Construction scheduling worked around getting our insurance review finalized, and were prompt and our Project Manager, Alex was very communicative, including about replacing some framing they thought was necessary. The job slipped into a second day, but I'm happier having the work done correctly. The ground around the house was well-cleaned after they left, but I did have to call them back for a couple other items that they took care of without any argument. Roof looks lovely, now!

Jean-Sebastian Poirier was incredibly helpful with explaining in great detail and pointing out wind & hail damage to roof & siding, and explaining insurance claim process. It made the process much easier to understand, go more smoothly, and achieve a favorable outcome. Thank you Jean and Feazel!
