  We do not charge a fee for an estimate. If you want a full evaluation of a building or roof there are paid options for that.

  edit: Duncan - I sent you several emails regarding this. Maybe check all your mailboxes and this is was simple misunderstanding. They appear to be capable builders; however, my experience with Farrow Built’s design package was disappointing. I had a 25 minute meeting with Duncan, during which he showed me a basic rectangular building model in SketchUp. Within minutes of the meeting ending, I received the “design package” by email. The material appears to be largely automated output from a CAD application and did not reflect any meaningful review or quality control, which was evident in the number of issues present. When I purchased the design service, I was led to believe it would include everything required to successfully complete the project. Their website describes the offering as “comprehensive building plans,” but the delivered drawings fell well short of that standard. The plans contained several obvious errors and were missing important details for key components of the building. I made multiple attempts over the following month to contact Duncan to allow the issues to be addressed, but I did not receive a response. I wish Duncan and his team success with their construction business, but based on my experience, I would recommend carefully evaluating their design services before proceeding.

  Hey Trevor! It hasn't even been a month since we did the Level 1 design package for you. You are wanting a basic rectangular building so I designed exactly what you asked for. Most people like to spend more time in the design, but your request was very simple. The plans and the material outputs are exactly what we use to build with. It has taken us years to fine tune the material take offs in the program so that the "automated" list comes out. Since we did the design package you have never tried to contact us. We would have appreciated you contacting with your concerns rather than this route. Duncan

  I’ve have been harassed by calls from these guys for years. I inquired once about their building and they won’t take my phone number off their calling list, despite multiple requests. Don’t call them unless you wanna be harassed forever!

  I did not have a good experience with this company . Treated me like I was an idiot. Blamed there shoddy work on old material when they had just put up the new material. Not a happy camper and really made me leary to hire any one else for work I need done .

  Wyatt and his team were very professional and friendly. The site was left how they found it, questions that we had were answered. Wyatt explained very thoroughly the work that was to be done, which was much appreciated. Wyatt led a very awesome team.

  We had an issue ( leak) in the transition between our house and covered deck. The first place we called was Farrow Built. They gave us a written estimate and we said "do it" A very professional job was done on budget and guaranteed for 10 years. We're so pleased with the work done and would recommend Farrow Built for any roofing repairs. They also build and supply all manner of farm structures. Give them a call. Buy local as we did . You'll be surprised how well you're treated.

  I had a very good experience with Jaden, our inspector today. He was very thorough, detailed and knowledgeable. He explained in terms I understood, what he found and why those areas may be cause for concern. Jaden was professional from his arrival to his end. I didn’t feel pressured to make any commitment to Farrow Built but surely felt confident that Farrow Built would be able to help me should I need. As a single woman, I felt respected and valued, and I’d highly recommend this company.

  100 per cent recommend. The crew from Farrow Built sorted out our quirky roof in a timely manner, were unfailingly courteous and friendly, and went the extra mile; When unforeseen supply chain problems caused delays they worked on after hours to ensure that the job was completed.

  Cassidy from Farrow Built just finished a roof repair on my house - removing and replacing the screws on a metal roof-on my house on Westside Road. Cassidy was a pleasure to work with and arrived on time and completed the job in a timely and professional manner. The roof is quite steep and it was a windy day but Cassidy and his helper took it all in stride. They also were very diligent in helping to seal a leak around the chimney. All in all very happy with the work done.

  The hay shed was repaired well. They were later to start than expected but the result is good and no change to the cost even though they ran into some unexpected issues. Easy to deal with.

  My experience with Duncan and his company was excellent. If there were any issues, they were dealt with professionly and to my satisfaction. Cassidy (the forman) and his team were very friendly and willing to explain any questions we had. I was also impressed that the company gave the opportunity for students to gain work experience in the building sector. I am very happy with my new shop and I would recommend Farrow Built for your next project!
