Ultimately we didn't select Exterior Alliance to replace our gutters because of a poor sales experience. I had to call twice for an inspection appointment and after more than a week it took more calls to receive a quote. I think our gutter job was just too small for them. All of the glowing reviews I read referenced roof replacement.

We explained to you that our company was backed up for gutter work. Due to this, I actually visited your property myself as the owner of the company which is not something I usually do. It was 6 business days for me to visit the property and 5 to get you the quote. Sure, we may have been able to act a little quicker but yes we have customers with holes in their roofs, trees falling into their homes etc so when we are extremely busy as a very small company we do have to give higher priority to the more severe and immediate needs. You nor your husband that I actually met with gave me any indication that this gutter was an emergency. You just “didn’t like the way the water ran off of your roof when it rained hard” I’m sorry you didn’t like our timeline. We have worked extremely hard for our reputation over the last 7 years. As a small, local, family owned business, that’s all we can rely on, our reputation. Quite frankly the fact that you chose to hurt our company and our reputation weve worked so hard for simply because it took a little longer than you’d like is very unfortunate. We didn’t blow you off, we didn’t miss an appointment, we just simply took a couple days longer than you liked and therefore you took the time to leave us a negative review. I hope in the future you realize how important these reviews are to small businesses and how much a negative review can hurt a small business and ask yourself if it’s truly justified. You could have also called in and expressed your concerns and I can assure you we would have taken your concerns seriously and found a remedy for you. If you haven’t found anyone for this project, I’d be happy to offer you a discounted price due to time frame everything took. Otherwise, best of luck with the project and I’m sorry we couldn’t act quicker.

Dan from Exterior Alliance came to my home as a "door to door" sales attempt. He visited at 6PM on a Saturday evening as I was in the middle of cooking dinner. He immediately started asking about any hail damage to our home after recent storms. I told him we had already checked and we had no damage. He attempted to tell me that our neighbors roof was "completely shot". My response was "Okay, I'm not interested. We have no damage and are preparing to sell our home. Thanks but no thanks." Dan's immediate response was "Well no one will buy it with all that damage." Now, this man has been on my property less than 2 minutes, has only seen my front door let alone my roof and has now tried to tell me no one will but my home because of "damage" that doesn't exist. The real problem seemed to be he was annoyed that I was not interested in his sales pitch, even though he stopped at my home WITHOUT being asked. Needless to say I turned around and closed my front door. To me this type of sales attempt is high pressure and the ethics behind it are questionable at best. After reading through their brochure they strike me as a company that will try to bill your insurance company for "damage". If you have recently had this company quote a job for you I would strongly suggest getting a second opinion. They seem to be the type of company the local news warns you to stay away from after strong storms come through an area.

Angie, First, I want to apologize. It is never our intention to come off any way but professional and upstanding. Secondly, it has been or experience that many homeowners don't know the extent of storm damage when a storm hits. We never intend to make anyone feel like they are wrong about their own home, but experience from a house close by indicated that a certain amount of damage was possible. I know that we helped get your mother's home approved via insurance which was close by. That said, it sounds like the way that it was communicated was not positively and in an informative way, and for that I do apologize. Our sales pitch is never designed to be high pressure in any way, rather we attempt to inform our customers of the process, which at times can be confusing and complicated when it comes to insurance restoration. I apologize if it did not come off as helpful. If we would have had a longer conversation, we would have been able to explain the insurance restoration process. We would not be billing your insurance company, but working with you to assure your home is restored to pre-storm condition. We are an A+ rated BBB business and although we never state to be perfect, we always work to keep our customers happy. I wish we would have had an opportunity to work together and prove our dedication to our customers. I know Dan hand mailed you a letter in regards to this, as he was very sad about this outcome. I can see this letter did not change your opinion on the circumstances, but I believe our customers who have worked with us speak highly enough of our character as a business. All the best.

Filled out an online request for a roof inspection/quote, got a response the next morning from Dan. Scheduled a day and time for Dan to come out and he never showed up or reached out… I’ll look elsewhere.

Hello Dark Coffee, In the time it took for you to leave this review, you could have just reached back out to me to see what happened. I’m human. Life happens, mistakes happen, maybe my calendar glitched? I’m sure there’s a reasonable explanation. However, I do not recall missing an appointment, that would be very rare for me to miss a scheduled appointment and if I did I would have communicated with you. I would never intentionally miss an appointment and not communicate. I do not operate like that. If you’d like to send us an email or another online request. I apologize if I missed the appointment. I do not believe leaving my company a negative review is appropriate and I’d like the opportunity to rectify.

We worked with Dan and his crew on residing the front of our house with James Hardie and I highly recommend the company to anyone needing exterior work done! We previously resided the other three sides of our house last year with James Hardie using a large, well known exterior company. We ended up liking the siding so much that we decided to replace the cedar on the front of our house with James Hardie this year. We planned to use the same company for the front but had a chance encounter with Dan and after talking, decided to have him come out to see the house and put together a quote for the job. Dan was very competitive with his quote and through talking about the product at length, it was clear he is incredibly knowledgable about James Hardie siding and the technical aspects that go into installing it properly, as this isn't a siding that just any company can do. Dan was very responsive and open about his crew and its qualifications and that he'd be the project manager for the job to ensure the work was done to high quality, so we made the decision to move forward. On install day, his crew showed up early in the morning and was very effective and efficient in how it worked to remove the cedar and get the James Hardie installed on the front all within a day. The crew was friendly and did a great job of cleaning up well from the mess that cedar is when being taken off a house. Dan was on site multiple times and kept in communication with us, and came out after the job was finished to walk through the work and make sure we were completely satisfied. We will absolutely use Exterior Alliance for future exterior work and highly recommend it to anyone looking to have a job done, especially as it relates to James Hardie siding. He and his crew know the product and how to install it correctly and do so in an effective, highly professional way.

We worked with Dan and the Exterior Alliance team this spring. Our house was about 25 years old, and needed some work. Exterior Alliance replaced our exterior siding and trim, repaired stucco, and repainted the entire exterior of the house. Dan and the team were terrific. Great communication, and excellent quality. We are really happy with the results - our house looks brand new. I highly recommend Exterior Alliance.

They did an awsome job. They replaced my roof on the same day I requested because I had active roof leakage and open house very next day. I can not ask for more than what they did for me. Even five stars are not enough.

We recently worked with Exterior Alliance to replace the roof at our restaurant, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Communication throughout the process was outstanding — even leading up to the start of the project, we were kept fully informed with clear and reasonable expectations about timing and what to expect. Because we operate a restaurant, minimizing disruption to business was a top priority, and the team delivered exactly that. The work was completed with great care and professionalism, and they showed an impressive ability to adapt as additional work needs arose, keeping everything on track without missing a beat. The owner personally oversaw the project from beginning to end, coordinating directly with other contractors to make sure every aspect of the job was handled smoothly. It’s rare to see that level of attention and accountability these days. We couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend Exterior Alliance to anyone looking for quality workmanship and reliable communication. Andrew Wilson General Manager Basi Italia

This company is very knowledgeable about all things roofing! Knew roofing codes better than my insurance company, and assisted in getting approval. New roof looks great, and crew did a fantastic job with protecting landscaping and cleaning up. Very happy with their work and would highly recommend!
