  Took my down payment money then stopped communicating with me. Didn't show up to do the job. Now I'm trying to get my money back. Guess I'll have to go to the police and file charges against them. Would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

  The first roof install was a disaster with an Erie subcontractor that did a poor job. They had to come back numerous times to fix install issues. The subcontractor would never call or even knock on the door when he would show up. One time he terrified my wife, almost making her call the police, by just showing up and climbing onto the roof. 8 years later the whole roof was replaced due to poor installation and a leak. The install manager didn’t barely get his head into the attic and said, “This is terrible”. He said right then that it needed replaced. It was that bad that he didn’t even investigate the leak. Erie did honor the guarantee and did it for free. The new install has issues with buckling shingles. There has been terrible communication from the subcontractor and install manager. 6 months later, the issue has not been fixed. Do not use this company. They are way overpriced, fail to communicate and do terrible work.

  Good job in the roof but the cleaning wasn't that great. Also the promise us that we were not going to pay interest in our loan since we were pay it off a few days after the roof was done, but when we made the payment, they charged us interest.

  We scheduled our new roof for a Monday. The the crew was at the house at 7am, they were at work by 7:15a. They started draping tarps from the top of the house to the ground to protect the house and vegetation. They worked all day and were all cleaned up by 3:30p. I now have a great new roof. Quality product, great work crew! The only issue was the dumpster was left in my driveway for 1 week without any response from the company till the following Monday. Not a big deal just frustrating.

  Erie Homes may try to get away with laying the new roof over the old roof. Then don’t let them charge you more to have the old roof removed. Stay alert during the sales process and make sure there are no surprises. Best practice is to always remove the old before installing new. The new roof is very beautiful and the crew was very professional.

  I am very happy with my new roof. I thought the price was a bit high but I have a new quality roof. The crew that installed it was very professional and answered all My questions. I worked for a contractor for 10 years and did this type of work so I knew what I was looking at. Thank you again.

  The salesman was very nice and knowledgeable about roofing products. I purchased a mid-price range roofing and was very satisfied with the quality of the roofing and the staff who worked on installing my roof. This roof will out last me. It is guaranteed by Erie Homes for 30 years. After I signed the contract they started working on my roof within 2 weeks. In 2 days it was completed (including cleaning up outside and hauling away the debris. If I ever move and have to put on another roof, I will call Erie Homes immediately. I highly recommend them.

  Erie home did a great job . They came and got the job done and did excellent work . They were courteous and cleans up afterwards even though it started to rain. I would call them for another project
