Seemed great at the start. Showed up quickly, gave us an estimate, and we chose the shingles we want. "We'll line you up for later in the summer." Then he ghosted us. Will not return calls or emails.

Runs down other business that is not his profession and has no idea what he is talking about and does shoty work would not recommend to anyone.

Richard is, without a doubt, is the most professional, honest, and skilled roofer we’ve ever worked with. He first came out to patch our roof on multiple occasions after several storms, after we discovered the builder had failed to place proper underlayment beneath the shingles. He caught the issue, fixed it promptly, and made sure we didn’t end up with any water damage. His honesty and fairness stood out immediately, so when it came time to fully replace our roof, there was no question who we’d call. Richard’s craftsmanship is next-level — he hand-nailed every single shingle himself, which really shows how much pride he takes in his work. If you’re looking for a roofer who is kind, reliable, and genuinely cares about doing the job right, look no further. We couldn’t recommend Richard enough!

Friendly, gave a realistic and reasonable quote, performed to the quote. Pleasure doing business.
Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 10 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 10, of which 6 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
There is not much data on Eastern Roofing. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
