I hired Picard Fournier & Sons Roofing to replace my roof, and overall, I'm satisfied with the result. Communication was easy and efficient, both by email and phone, with quick and clear responses. The quote and work scheduling went smoothly. The work site was well protected, with minimal debris left behind. A small note: since the shingles were installed in the fall, they haven't fully adhered yet due to the colder temperatures. This can give the impression that they're poorly glued or a bit crooked, even though that's not the case. It doesn't appear to be a structural issue or a sign of poor installation; it's simply due to the temporary lack of adhesion caused by the cold. I expect them to adhere properly with the return of warmer temperatures by spring, and for the appearance to even out. I'll check again then to make sure everything is in order. I would suggest they warn customers in advance. Apart from that detail, the work seems well done. - Update: I forgot to mention months later: the problem never went away... the roof edges still have tiles lifting up. I hope it doesn't blow away in the wind one day...
