  I set up an appointment to get an estimate on replacing the cedar shingles on a potion of my house. Their sales man Sam was over an hour late and didn't bother to call. When he came, his phone wasn't working so he asked for my WIFI password, which obviously I did not give him. I showed him the damaged area and a few other issues and reiterated I wanted cedar shingles. He said he would email me a quote, but wanted to come back to discuss the quote. Odd, but I agreed. When he came back a week later to review the quote, he had still not sent it. He said he had prepared an hour long sales presentation. As I had to get to work, I asked him again to email the quote and we would have to talk another time. When he sent it, its to re-shingle the entire house with James Hardy synthetic siding, replace all of the door and widow trim and install soffit vents, none of which I wanted (the house doesn't even have soffit vents). If you don't work with cedar, why did you make the appointment and waste both of our time in the first place? At least I didn't sit through the hour long sales presentation.

  I asked for a quote multiple times via phone/email for a roof replacement, and this company NEVER got back to me. I wouldn't recommend! EDIT: While the business owner would like to minimize this review, I don't "have the wrong company" - Connell came highly recommended by Holliston neighbors, but the lack of responsiveness in the Fall of 2021 led us elsewhere.

  Worked with Ben to repair a gutter that was leaking on a window. Ben overcharged me for the service he provided. Basically did cosmetic work that had to be replaced by another contractor who actually fixed it. I would not work with Ben.

  Thanks Heather for your review - I'm sorry you were not totally happy with our work. To clarify we did say we would remove the crew until you made your decision, but it was not a threat. We wanted to give you time to make a decision about additional work we found while working on your project. The additional cost was for additional work (wood rot) which we couldn't have seen prior to the start of the job as it was hidden behind a gutter and fascia board. Even through your use of profanity against the crew, we did try and remain professional, including coming back out after the job was completed and paid to fix an issue you were having with the gutter. We stand behind our work 100% and are happy to have you as a customer. We want to do it right, by the book. We wouldn't ever want to cover up rot we find, as it will lead to future issues.

  Not trustable company at all, called for a small roof leaking repair job, owner sent someone, came twice, still can not fix the problem, unfortunately I paid them already. Then another heavy rain day, leaking still, called office, owner Ben came, explained how they already fixed the problem, with the fact original leaking spot still leaking, try to convince me replace the whole roof, or do further repair with extra charge. Attitude is rude, arrogant. Bottom line, never use their service.

  Sorry to hear your not happy with our service, Mrs. Li! We'd be happy to credit your account for the repair towards the roof replacement! The tech came out three weeks ago and you had no leaking with all of the rain on the day we came out in the original area we had marked but you did have a new leak about 8 ft away. Since we did not install the roof we cannot make one small shingle repair and guarantee your entire roof. The original repair we marked was dry, the new leak is further away.   Highly recommend Connell Roofing. Brian the project manager did an excellent job keeping us informed and was also super friendly and personable. The team did our roof, skylight replacement and large kitchen picture window installation all in 2 days and everything looks great!

  We contracted Connell Roofing after a tree damaged our roof and gutters during the February 2026 blizzard. The work was competitively priced. Matt Cabral was a professional project manager. He was responsive when we had questions or concerns. It was convenient to contract them to repair the damage, reroof the entire house, and replace the damaged gutters. They were thorough and neat. When we had concerns about a section of the new roof, they kept an eye on it. When it did not resolve in time, they returned and replaced the section.

  Great experience working with Connell to replace our roof! The initial guy who came to give us a quote (Vince) was so thorough and found damage that other companies hadn't found, which I was really grateful for so I didn't have a change order and surprise charge later in the project. The actual work was done quickly and efficiently, with Matt as the PM who oversaw the work. Matt communicated along the whole way with updates and helpful guidance. The team were professional, clean and overall clearly great at their craft. Would recommend Connell!
