TL;DR - Cechinel ghosted me in the middle of finalizing a contract. I received an estimate from Cechinel for a siding and windows project about a month ago. My initial impression was that they were nice, easy to work with, and fair - between that and the Google reviews, I pitched them as my top choice for this project to the other owners in my building. I informed Cechinel that we would like to move forward with this project, and requested an updated estimate for a couple items that came up from the other owners (which, to be clear, we knew was going to increase the estimate). Cechinel initially told me they were working on the updates and would deliver them “soon”. I am unfortunately leaving this review because 3+ weeks have passed and it seems I have been ghosted. I tried to give Cechinel plenty of time before pressing for the updates, but after multiple emails, voicemails, and even Instagram DMs I haven’t received so much as a “we’re still working on it”. I have tried to be patient because it’s winter so maybe they’re sick or taking time off or something…but what I can’t get over is that they are still actively posting on Instagram almost daily, but I can’t get a call back? If they can’t (or don’t want to) take on the project, why not answer and tell me that? Ghosting a potential client entirely is bad business and, frankly, bad manners.

A wonderful family owned business with a tremendous crew who work together, accommodate you, are respectful, and do so many little things to be as understanding as possible. My siding and new windows are the talk of the neighborhood. Pictures are a thousand words.

Bruno and his team were awesome. This was a highly challenging siding project completed in December, and they showed up and worked hard regardless of the weather. The job was completed on schedule, the pricing was fair, and the quality of …

We had several false starts on a porch project and Cecilia and Bruno were so patient. The work Bruno and his team completed is excellent, they were fast but thorough, and the price was very fair (compared to many other quotes we got). We're planning on having them come back for more work!

Only 3 stars, since they only work on projects located in Somerville proper. The website/online materials should reflect that.

In my experience, the entire Cechinel team are extremely professional and do really high quality work. I got all the windows aluminum wrapped and had a bit of siding work done, and the job came out beautiful. Even though they were very …

We had an amazing experience with Cechinel siding & windows. We had our entire house re-sided, new gutters, new soffits, new trim and almost all of our windows replaced. Cechinel was on-time, very professional and friendly, and they did amazing quality work. The house looks beautiful, we couldn't be happier. Their costs are very fair and their communication was great during the entire project. Bruno came out multiple times to check on status and discuss any questions we had. Many of our neighbors came by and asked who was doing the work, we would gladly recommend Cechinel to anyone!
