  Hi Christy, we do not call homeowners offering roof inspections. We do not use call centers to solicit our business. It's unfortunate you received a phone call. Many people mistake us for other companies. You can hear us on the radio, in the HomeMag etc. 95% of our business comes from referrals.   The WORST Ever If I could give negative stars I would do so. This company is the absolute WORST. It's been over 3 years and I’m still experiencing problems with their shoddy work and follow through. The most recent (but far from the only) issue is unforgivable. We found out, after having to pay for another company to come out is that Carolina Roofing installed a BATHROOM VENT FAN instead of a Dryer Vent Fan on the roof attached to the dryer run. Needless to say the bathroom vent fan doesn't work on a dryer and lint was backing up, clogging the dryer and creating a FIRE hazard. We were extremely lucky we didn’t have a fire. This wrong vent, created back up in the line of water and lint. It started leaking when there was no where else for it to go and leaking from the dryer line onto the floor of laundry room and into the ceiling and down through to the first floor! We’ve called again and again and have been assured that the problems would be resolved. They FINALLY put an actual dryer vent on, but despite guarantees to address the other issues, there’s been nothing done! The most recent correspondence was a promise to have their repair guy contact us within a few days, it’s been over a week and NOTHING. We’ve followed up again and again with no response back. Time to enlist legal help. USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!! They are TERRIBLE!!! Added note: the company did finally send out contractors to fix the damage done by the problems created by the incorrect vent. The repair work was done well. That being said, I still have extremely bad feelings as I cannot recoup the time, energy and effort this took out of our schedules and the stress it caused.

I know we have already reimbursed you for the service call from the HVAC contractor. The interior was taken care of which you stated you are happy with. We have addressed this with our project manager as well as roofing forman to ensure this will not happen again. I went through your file to see if there were any other issues and all I could find were some problems you had with existing skylights which we did not install as part of your roofing project. We came out on 3 different occasions to attempt to stop the leaks, and then removed the skylights, placed plywood over the areas, and installed shingles at no charge to you. I apologize again if your experience did not meet your expectations. Our goal here at Carolina Roofing & Vinyl Siding, LLC is to always leave the customer happy and better off than when we started the project.

  This company is shady. Convinced/pressured my wife in2 signing something that basically held our insurance checks for ransom, do not trust them. We should have listened to my neighbor after they did crappy job on roof but we decided to give them a chance. Just an awful company that is deceiving and is the most unprofessional business I've ever been with.

However, I do believe that you have made a review on the wrong business name. I do not see you as a customer in our system. Without an address I can only search you by the name. Please know that Carolina Roofing is a popular name in this area. If you google Carolina Roofing, you should see many different businesses with that name.

  I wanted to share the disappointing experience my husband and I have had with Carolina Roofing And Vinyl Siding. We were approached by them at the end of August for a free inspection. Our roof is 20 years old and there was a high chance there was storm damage. Based on the initial inspection the PM, Scotty told us we would definitely be covered by our insurance company since he saw much wind and hail damage so we decided to move forward. Within a week we had the insurance assessment- which was very different from the roofers assessment. When we asked Scotty about the discrepancy - in front of the adjuster he said "he must have been thinking about a different house". Our insurance company paid a small part of the damage and we decided to move forward an pay the rest in cash so we requested a full quote from CR. After 3 weeks of no quote and multiple follow up attempts ( text phone and email) we were finally emailed a number with no itemization of what it included. Since then ( that was late September) we have been continuously following up for an updated quote. We keep getting the response that Scotty is going to talk to the owner and discuss it. But after 3 more weeks of this runaround we have decided to take our business elsewhere. We wanted to use a local company but we have no more confidence in this once since we can't even get an itemized quote for a job we were willing to pay cash for. If the owners are that hard to get in touch with when they were trying to "win our business" what if something went wrong when the job was complete. Again- just wanted to share our experience because it was very disappointing to us the way this has been handled.

  I decided to move to another roofer after Carolina Roofing using high pressure sales tactics and would not put the roof report in writing. After I asked for the report in writing I no longer heard from the rep. I just never had a good feeling about the company.

  We had Carolina Roofing replace our roof in 2022. Seemed like an easy process with them taking care of the insurance details and scheduling. We are now in the process of a renovation and our contractor has found massive rot because the roof was not installed properly and allowed water to invade behind the siding and in the 4 years has rotted the joists and plywood. We did not know they were doing such a horrible job and the roof would have failed in another couple of years or less. BE FOREWARNED....that pretty roof may have shoddy workmanship underneath. Update: The company responded quickly and addressed the issues and in fact went above and beyond the issues discovered. We are extremely satisfied with their professionalism and plan to use them on the new screen porch we are planning.

  Updated: Brent Fortuny of Carolina Siding and Roofing is the person you want to call for your roofing and siding needs. He put our roof on our last house. When I needed an expert to inspect our roof on our new built home, I called Brent. In 90⁰ heat, he didn't hesitate to come help us out. He inspected our roof, talked me through everything, took me through the attic and pointed out the areas that our builder needs to remedy. This will definitely save us heartache down the road. We can not thank him enough for his honesty and work ethic. Call Brent with your roofing needs. You will happy you did. Brent Fortuny of Carolina Roofing and Vinyl Siding and his crew were contracted to replace our roof. We had the best experience! Brent told us when the materials, dumpster, and crew would arrive. The materials and dumpster arrived on time and the crew arrived early and went right to work. They took great care to protect everything around our house and moved it out of the way and placed tarps down to catch all the debris. The crew worked fast and efficiently. They only stopped working for a brief 15 minutes to eat their lunch. They finished my roof and cleaned up my yard and left it as if they had never been here. They were very neat and cleaned up everything so well. They did great work! I would highly recommend Carolina Roofing for any work you may need. They were the best we've ever worked with. Top notch! I would give more than 5 stars if I could!!!

  My house looks amazing. Siding and windows installed look excellent. They also had no issues with adding PVC porch posts and railings halfway through the project. I would definitely recommend Carolina Roofing and Siding.
