  Re-roofed 4 years ago. Upsold on heavier more expensive shingles for better wind resistance. After 2 years, shingles torn off. Noticed that the shingling pattern is improper. Not staggered properly. This company has been negligent in affording any warranty as they stated they would. Run, don't walk from these uncaring unscrupulous and negligent business operators. Don't be fooled. They're terrible.

  Cactus roofing did my shingles on house and garage, it was discussed to put up drip edge on both and replace rotten boards on outer edge of garage roof. The crew did a rush job and didn’t replace any rotten wood on garage just put shingles over the rotten boards. They also didn’t put drip edge on the south side of garage at all and didn’t complete the drip edge on the front of garage due to rotten boards. When I returned to Saskatoon from work I found deficiencies and emailed cactus roofing. The owner relied and said a crew would be back Monday to repair the issues. No one ever came. Cactus roofing stopped replying to my emails and have not answered over 15 calls I have placed. Looking into other legal options at this point. ZERO STARS

  I booked a week in advance for a roofing repair. The day of the roofing repair, I had a difficult time contacting anyone to get a time window of when they would show up and start the work. No one showed up at all, no calls to let me know what’s going on, so I sat around all day waiting. I guess their time was more valuable then the job I booked, could have at least given me a call back to say you were too tied up that day. All good, will be finding another roofing company.

  Never returned calls. Never delivered on promises to drop materials by and just didn’t care enough to own the fact they were too busy to get around to us. We could have looked elsewhere in the six weeks we have lost waiting for them.

  I have an insurance claim for a complete re-shingle of my roof and garage. I called to book an appointment, and emailed in my insurance paperwork. Was booked for late September. I had to follow up 3 times, all with no response before they even dropped off a sample booklet. October came and still no word. I called a fourth time, and was told again that I would be called back to get a new install date. Again no response. Clearly, this company has absolutely no respect for their clients. Do yourself a favour, and find a different company, as judging by other reviews, this is the way that they do business. I'm surprised that they are still in business.

  I am disappointed with this company. I have a leaking roof and made an appointment to have someone come and take a look. It is a busy time of year so I understand my appointment wasn't till the following week. The lady I spoke to was helpful and said she would try and get someone out sooner if possible. The day of my appointment came and the time I was told was between 10am - 2pm. I took the day off work to be home for that time slot. Nobody showed up, I waited until 2 30 and called, nobody answered and they still have yet to call me back. My appointmemt was for Sept. 26th.... I wasted a day waiting for a company to not show up and they didn't/haven't had the consideration to call me. I understand its a busy time of year but am disappointed in the lack of customer service.

  Bob and his team did a great job of re-shingling our roof this summer. The guys were professional, the quality of work was way better than the original shingles. Ours was a larger high pitched roof so it took about a week to complete, but we were very happy with the results. Many reviews criticize the non-responsiveness of the owner when getting an estimate or trying to nail down a start time, but the dependency on wind and rain do make the jobs tough to schedule. Although Bob was not always the best at responding immediately, we found that being patient was a great strategy. The work was excellent and the price was the lowest of the three quotes we got. I would recommend Cactus Roofing.

  Bob was very responsive, his crew did a great job. They inspected the roof, replaced the shingles, and cleaned and fixed up the existing gutters. They were quick, easy to deal with, and did a great job at exceptional value. Would highly recommend.

  We lost a few shingles in a wind storm so I emailed the company that day. They arrived within 24 hours to replace them. I had lost some shingles several years before in a storm on a different part of the roof (roof was shingled by a different contractor) and they fixed them the next day as well. Very pleased with the service and the responsiveness.

  Cactus was recommended to me by a professional commercial roofing company. Cactus did an excellent job. They were very efficient and experienced roofers and made sure the roof was well sealed to handle an unwelcome and unexpected May snowstorm mid job. Thanks Bob!

  I basically needed a new roof due to purchasing a forclosure. I dont think the roof had ever been done in 40 years. The plywood was like wet papers that crumbled when taken apart. The team that did my roof was very professional. I'd asked lots of questions and they would answer them and give me more info about what all was being repaired and to how bad it actually was. The finished roof was beautiful and met the current roofing standards. These guys replaced my entire roof and left a beautiful clean yard afterwards. I thought everything went perfect!.

  Without a doubt the company you want to use!! I have used them for both my Cabin and my Home here in Saskatoon and not only is the work second to none ....... Bob and his team are efficient, professional and reliable. Comments from the neighbours admiring the work, using them then themselves, and commenting how clean and professional they were is to be admired!! Thanks again guys!!

  We contacted several roofing companies and decided to go with Cactus Roofing. They did excellent work. They came when they said they would and cleaned up after themselves. Would highly recommend them!! Great service

  Estimator didn't show. 4 hours later...was told traffic bad. I said not to bother, they said "ok, will take it off the list of things to do" as if it didn't matter one way or the other if we gave them our business. Since then, have heard from others that this is a habit. One person told me that they did a no show 3 times. I couldn't trust my roof to this kind of service.
