We had hail damage in 2014 and 2015. CAB did an excellent job in 2014, but in 2015 their work was not good. When CAB tore off the roof in October 2015, I heard stuff falling down the range hood vent. Because the range hood sounded awful after this, we replaced it and found 2 nails and big chunks of old shingles inside. The chimney caulk had to be redone. There were blobs of silver caulk near the top of some of the roof vents, as if the workers used the vents to scrape the extra caulk off the caulk gun. In June 2016, I noticed my roof was leaking through the range hood. CAB looked at it and didn’t find anything wrong with it. When the leaking began happening more often and to a larger degree (1” in a bucket on my stove after a rain storm), I hired an independent contractor to fix it. He ran a hose to see where the leak was, which CAB did not do. He discovered that water was getting under the vent. Additionally, the vent was rusting and the nails on the top edge of the vent were rusted. All my roof vents were rusted in 2017. CAB said it was a manufacturer defect and repainted them. I have since repainted them and the chimney flashing due to rust. I later discovered my bathroom fan ductwork was not attached to the roof vent. Though this has probably been like that for a long time, the wood around the vent is soft, and no one mentioned this to me or suggested replacing the wood when redoing the roof. I was hesitant to get new gutters because ours were only 2 years old. I was assured that the company doing the gutters, Pinno, was very good. I really regret replacing the gutters. My new gutters drip at places where my old ones didn’t. Debris gets caught in the corners near my front roof peak – this didn’t happen before. The gutter caulk is pretty sloppy, and there are a couple of screws laying in caulk in my gutter. One downspout was not going into the splashguard at a good spot. And one gutter was not pitched correctly. Initially Rich told me there will always be som

They came out three months ago to give us an appraisal and contract to fix our roof. Three months later, communication is nonexistent, nothing but broken promises and finally they just said that they can’t fix it now. They still have our deposit. Do not use this company! Very unprofessional

We appreciate your review. It really is unfortunate that we are unable to complete this project after all of the work we have done on this. We started this process in the beginning of June with your insurance company denying the project. … More

I am sorry that you feel you had a bad experience. While I am happy that the roof experience was positive and thank you for the referrals. After speaking with you many times about rectifying the issues that you had I was under the impression that you were completely satisfied. We were not notified of an issue with the water here at the office until 7/8/20. At that time our production team collected information from you to find out what happened and what needed to be done to correct. We were not notified of the basement water until you had already cleaned up the water yourself- we would gladly have taken care of that for you had we been given the opportunity. Also when the pipe was accidentally broke our crew offered to fix the issue immediately but you refused to allow it to be fixed. They did stop the active water before the water situation could get out of control and the wall was repaired and resided. Once we were notified at the office of the situation we sent our QC rep to the property to inspect that the work was handled properly. In that time there were screens that had some cuts from the siding. Instead of replacing just the 2 we replaced all 11 screens to ensure customer satisfaction. Several days we had scheduled to come and do work you stated you would not be home and did not want us to do any work unless you were there, so that did prolong the time to get the issues rectified. We were able to complete the pipe repair and install the new screens. And at the time we were not told that you were still unhappy. CAB Construction makes every attempt to ensure our customers happiness. Our customer service team contacted you and spoke with you on several occasions to make sure you knew that we were actively working on making sure everything was completed and completed properly and to your satisfaction. We would never state a customer is lying and we document all calls to our office. We did request the photos that you claimed you had which we neve

They do not stand behind there work. Roof installed on 04/03/2015 and it leaks so I called them up. Miss Melanie says it’s $450 to take a look at it. Now if your in the market for a 4 year roof get a hold of these guys. Always remember what …

We have a 2 year labor warranty which we stand by. Unfortunately this roof is out of that 2 year time frame, but we have agreed to come and look at the problem and fix it. We do have a $450 service charge that includes the repair and anything above is time and materials. We did not receive a call from this customer to discuss anything further, instead she posted this review. We have many satisfied customers. There are other warranties that are offered. With the amount of snow fall and ice dam damage in that area (over 40" of snowfall in one month) this leak could be caused by many things. CAB Construction Co is a reputable company and our reviews from satisfied customers show that.

These guys are totally unprofessional on their siding end of the company. The owner, Andy, sent his brother, preteen son and another man. I had to watch their every move. The son was putting up the green sheet like it was a jigsaw puzzle with huge gaps in between. They didn’t put the water protective sheeting up either, saying this was only necessary on new construction even though every house in the neighborhood who had hail damage was getting it installed. Then they yanked my hot water heater vent off when tearing off the old siding and refused to replace it. I also wanted aluminum siding as a replacement as that it what I had on there prior. They tried to tell me it only came in White and I’d have to hire a painter at my own expense to match the back of the house or do it myself. Then when the vinyl siding was put up I realized there were huge gaps in between the nails and the nails they did install were sunk at different lengths all over the house, some areas were 48” to 36” apart. I could stick my hand all the way under and along the pieces of siding. I took pictures and videos and got a second opinion from another professional who laughed at the quality of work done. Then a wind came along and a piece flew off because it wasn’t even nailed down. I had to do many caulking repairs as they missed many areas where water or insects could get in. They put the window coverings over chunks of rubble not even bothering to wipe it down. When Andy finally came out to fix all the problems he said I still owed my deductible and an additional $200. I said all I owe you now is my deductible. I think he tacked on an additional $200 just so the warranty would not kick in and he would not be responsible. That is reprehensible. This guy is a clown and a crook. I was bullied into signing off on the job by the owner and am fearful of the future of my homes safety. He took advantage of me as a single woman. Beware the Cab Construction Crew for siding work. Awful job!

Steve and Woody were great to work with and gave an honest appraisal that our roof had some life left. When we do need a replacement they’ll be the first call.

Woody and Steve came by. I have known Woody for a long time, he is my neighbor. But they ran our entire insurance situation for front to back, and believe me when I say there was some headaches Steve was on top of it and handle everything beautifully. The house looks awesome. I will absolutely recommend them to anybody.

I was very happy with the work done by CAB Construction. They were professional and efficient. We all know what kind of workers we would get, but these workers are discipline enough and well trained to complete a roof in a day. They masked the entire house to avoid damage. When they finished the roof they patrolled several times looking for nails and after they left, I found less than a handful of nails. That's pretty remarkable for a roof contractor. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a new roof
