  Long story short, they cut corners, ignore repairs caused by them and overall don't take accountability for their work. 1. Refuse to repair gutters that are leaking to since install in the spring. They tell me that there are leaves in the gutters and that they can't do anything when they are overflowing. There were hardly any leaves in the gutters in the fall when they came and even then in light rain the gutters would leak. It also doesn't address how they were leaking all spring and summer before any leaves fell but they ignored it. 2. Multiple repairs done for the siding/roofing project were done with cutting corners. All they had to do was contact me saying "hey there is some rotted wood here and it will be this much extra $ to replace" but instead they ignored it and just covered it up. 3. Probably the worst of it, the proper permits were not pulled and the work was not handled well. Loose wiring was left for weeks and at some point the town noticed and informed me that it was dangerous and could've caught fire. The town shut down the power and I was displaced from my home with my wife and infant for a week. I was never compensated for this by CK Roofing and what's worse I was left to pay the entire bill for the electrician with CK Roofing simply saying "That electrical bill is separate from our bill". I understand that maybe the electrical work was not included in the original estimate but I would expect that the oversight of leaving dangerous wires and having my power shut off unexpectedly without CK Roofing even knowing would mean that they would have some accountability for their oversight. $0 compensation for everything lost with no electricity in the middle of winter, the home displacement, and electrician. 4. A final walkaround was done and all of my requests about fixing details were never completed but they still charged. 5. They did follow the original design. There is much more but I don't want to spend more time listing it all out. Find someone else

  I had work done by this company previously and I would not recommend them. Unfortunately a lot of these reviews are probably not real because this company/owner absolutely does cut corners on their work and they were not responsive. I had gone with this company bc of these reviews but they are not accurate. Please proceed with caution!!!

  The major problem is they cut corners. They never fully applied grout in our bathroom - and the tiles are already coming up and loose. The faucet for our family bathtub came flying off as we were preparing a bath for our baby - a major safety issue. When I went to fix it - I noticed it was improperly sealed. There have been multiple issues with the plumbing work they did. While some of their work was satisfactory - it's hard to trust that they did a thorough job.

  Horrible experience. Hired to take out part of a wall on the staircase and replace the railings and newels. Started off with issues when I asked the owner if he would be able to start on the first of the month since that was the day after we closed and we hired someone to come finish the wood flooring. He said he would if I signed the contract by the end of the week. I did this and then a couple days before the first of the month I reached out to confirm and he responded asking who told me he would be starting on the first. He said he wouldn’t start because I never paid the deposit but in his email he didn’t mention having to pay a deposit in order to reserve a start date. His crew messed up and cut one of the newels in a way that it shouldn’t have been cut and then just put a piece back with putty. When I called him out on it he claimed it needed to be done in order to screw it in yet they didn’t do it to the other newel. He wouldn’t acknowledge that they messed up. He said that when it got stained we wouldn’t notice it. He said if we weren’t pleased he would replace it. Our staining guy did the floors, newel, and railings and the part where they messed up on the newel looked worse than before. They didn’t bother to even try and line up the graining on the wood. I sent him the pictures of it and asked him to replace it and he said he would but he wouldn’t do the staining. This was ridiculous because it’s his fault it looked horrible and we brought it to his attention before it got stained so he had the chance to fix it. He tried just putting new pieces of wood in place of where he messed up but it was not a clean fix. My wife tried explaining what was wrong and he wouldn’t listen to her. We insisted that he fully replace it like he originally said. He finally agreed to replace and stain the newel but threatened to leave drip marks on the newel if we didn’t pay him more money. We called him out on it and he agreed to replace the newel and stain it as well. A job th

  As I read through C&K's other reviews, I can't help but wonder what went wrong with my project, and how so many other people seemed to have had great experiences with C&K while my experience was so opposite. We hired C&K in March 2021 to complete a total roof removal/reinstall, total exterior repainting with power washing, and a variety of small carpentry projects including replacing ~1500 linear feet of composite trim, for a total of ~$60K. Overall, the roofing part of the project went okay - but every other part of the project, ESPECIALLY THE PAINTING, was really substandard. I sensed that not one person on the crew had an eye for detail or precision, or took pride in their work. Here are some examples of issues we had: - Screens were not removed from windows prior to the power washing, which caused several of the screens to be torn. - Roofing shingles were thrown carelessly off of the roof onto decks and into garden beds, resulting in destroyed bushes and damage to landscaping and decks. - In the "finished state", the edge of the roof had dozens of places where clear plastic cellotape was exposed from underneath the shingles. - Trash and construction debris was left all over our property - still finding this trash and picking it up months later. - Paint flaws, including poor sanding, poor taping, inconsistent application of primer, paint bleeding onto the wrong surface, and sloppy line work. C&K attempted to repaint our exterior doors without even removing them from the hinges, and it honestly was some of the most amateur painting work I'd ever seen, with paint splashed on the door jam, frame, hardware, glass, etc. It honestly looked like a child had done it. - Multiple, repeated attempts to request corrections to the same issues, which seemingly were just ignored until I got tired of bringing them up. - I was asked repeatedly to do "final walkarounds" to approve work that was obviously not done correctly. I can't express how insulting and frustrating it

  Very good experience - C&K did a fantastic job on our roof, which is steeply pitched and in a close-knit neighborhood. The lead person on the job, Angel Deleon, was excellent - always there to answer questions and provide updates. Thank you so much for a great job on our beautiful new roof!

  I have utilized the services of C&K multiple times . From painting my entire house to repairing winter storm damage from ice dams and repairing wood shingles . They are reliable and competent. Highly recommend them .

  We just want to thank C&K Roofing for the fantastic service on my damaged roof caused by a tree falling on the roof. They were prompt in assessing the damage and doing the repairs. They took pictures before, during and after the repairs. Their cleanup of the site was immaculate. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

  The manager, Angel, is terrific! He is a super nice guy and a hard worker who really cares about the quality of his team’s work. He also makes sure the homeowner is aware of all the ins/outs of the project so that there are no surprises. Highly recommended!

  C&K replaced our roof and we are very happy with the quality of the job. They were hard workers and completed the work on schedule. They were proactive about solving some problems with preexisting skylight flashing, which was unexpected and something they addressed even though it was out of scope. I would recommend this company for any work around the house.

  Interviewed 6 contractors in total to replace our siding, remove and rebuild our deck to a larger and more intricate footprint, install a sliding door where a large window was located, and addressed support and insulation under room extending beyond our house foundation. This was a big project with many steps that had to be coordinated with constraints around conservation dept and and structural engineer and architect specs. Everything came out better than expected, and at a reasonable price compared to others. Cristian worked to knock out the project in a very specific order and was in communication the entire time. The work occurred in Oct-Nov 2025. We are extremely happy and look forward to additional work in the future!

  Cristian gave a fair price for a new roof plus installing a new fence gate and shutters. His crew worked carefully and diligently and the roof looks great. He went above and beyond in creating a beautiful new fence gate when I couldn't find a standard size to pre-order. Cristian is honest and easy to work with.

  We used C&K Roofing & General Contracting to replace the siding and most of the windows in our house and replace the roof on a small outbuilding. We are thrilled with how the project turned out. It looks like a brand new house. And dealing with Cristian Garcia and his crew was a pleasure. They were very patient and accommodating in working with us throughout the project to achieve exactly the resuts that we wanted. People on our street commented that they had never seen a crew work so diligently, often finishing well after dark each night. And they thoroughly cleaned up the property when the project was over. We cannot recommend them more highly. 5 Stars all the way.

  Cristian did a fantastic job with a stairway renovation. I have been looking to get my stairway renovated and had met with several carpenters over several years but none of them could do it to the way I wanted. I highly recommend C&K Roofing.

  We have now used C&K Roofing on 2 separate occasions, and both times the service and follow up were exceptional. First job was doing replacing some siding that was rotted out, along with some flashing. The second job was the installation of a new Anderson sliding glass door. Angel was our main contact and he kept us informed of the job status and progress. The team on site was professional and kept the work area clean. Even when we had an issue with the color of the Anderson door (for some reason the new Anderson doors are a shade of grey vs. pure white), Angel and Christian dug in to work understand the issue and help to find a good resolution. Could not be happier with their support and personal touch on each job.
