They came out to put an emergency tarp over a corner of the house where a tree fell but by the time the big guys stomped around everywhere I ended up with several leaks in different areas. Based upon the photos they sent me they did a complete inspection of the roof but failed to repair additional holes.

Unresponsive and dishonest pricing. I had an estimate done 4 months ago for some repairs and loved our rep. He was extremely thorough and priced out 3 separate "jobs" in case we weren't prepared to do everything at once. Fast forward to …

Hi Rachel, I am writing this personally as the GM who worked on your updated estimate. I want to sincerely apologize that you felt ignored last week. I want to provide clarity on the two main frustrations you raised, as transparency is very important to us: 1. The Price Difference: You are correct that general material inflation was not 30%. The increase here was specific to a vendor change we made recently. We made the decision to move away from our previous chase lid manufacturer due to inconsistent production timelines that were causing delays for our homeowners. We switched to a specialized fabrication partner who guarantees the reliability and turnaround times we require. Unfortunately, their manufacturing costs are higher, which is reflected in the updated bid. I was unwilling to quote you the lower price, knowing we could not guarantee the delivery timeline of a chase lid coming from this previous vendor. 2. The Communication Gap: I sent the updated bid on Monday morning and immediately left for a mandatory annual 3-day company training event in Louisville. I had very limited access to email during those sessions, and my mistake was failing to set an automatic email reply to let you know I would be unavailable. Had I done that, you wouldn't have been left wondering why I had gone silent. The automated marketing email you received was also poor timing on our system’s part, and I apologize for the mixed signals there. I am genuinely sorry that my time out of the office overlapped with your decision-making process. I understand you have moved forward with another company, and I truly wish you the best with your project. - Garrett Cox, General Manager

I call to get an estimate on my roof. I had a shingle come off in the last storm along with a number of my neighbors were having their roofs replaced because of hail damage. The receptionest that answered the phone sounded annoyed that i had ask for a free estimate to see if i did have hail damage and would not have an opening for two months, Mid October. If this is how their operation is run i personaly would avoid Bonedry Roofing.

I’ll start by saying Bone Dry did my East Nashville roof in 2019 and it was a fantastic and affordable process. Based on this experience I used them for my new home in Bellevue in May 2025 and the experience was completely different. For this particular project Bone Dry completed a new roof with full re-decking, blow-in insulation and new siding. The roof aspect of the prospect turned out nice, however I’m not fully sure the crew followed the required specifications. I have three different roof lines on a ranch home and both the consultant and initial crew chief (I ended up having 3-4 different ones) stated there shouldn’t be a vent on one section of the roof due to potential cross venting, unfortunately after crawling through my attic it appears this section was actually vented. Unfortunately, due to multiple foreman cycling through I don’t know that they ever did complete a final walk through of the roof (which they did on my first project). The next project they completed was the blow-in insulation, which started off with the foreman asking what a baffle was (pretty concerning with the new ridge vent they installed). Based on my non-professional experience and looking through my attic I am still not sure that they installed the baffles correctly as they don’t reach down to the soffits (allowing proper airflow for the ridge vent), but terminate before the soffits which leads to areas along my ceilings with minimal insulation. The insulation crew came back twice to fix a separate area of missing insulation, but the baffle install did not appear to bother them. Finally, the siding install was fairly straight forward replacing aluminum siding for new vinyl siding, however this was another area where the specifications were to add house wrap underneath and multiple times I came outside to see that the crew was completing the install without it. Fortunately they pulled off what was on and installed it, but certainly not ideal when I have to supervise a project myself.

They were good at coming out to provide an estimate and VERY SLOW in getting back to do the actual work. They were supposed to call ahead to set the schedule for the work, but instead, just showed up one winter afternoon, then had to work until after dark to finish the job. I would not use them again.

UPDATE - stay far far away from this company. They held my certificate of completion for 3+ weeks and then blamed me for not being home to sign it after they told me no one had to be home. Today their branch manager came out to look at incomplete work and told me it looked good and that it looked exactly how it should look. Looked modern he said - on my 40 year old house. Never mind it did not look like it did before and does not match any of the houses in the neighborhood. This company is BAD business. STAY AWAY! Proof is in the attached photos. This company provided a low bid, and honestly you get what you pay for. They tried going to the wrong house, with the address wrong on the work order. They left a mess after finishing. They pay a supervisor to sit on site and literally do nothing except take about three pictures and send them throughout the day. Some of the work they did looks tacky, incomplete, and unprofessional. A part of my deck was broken by falling roof debris. They put an advertisement sign in my neighbor's yard, on their private property. I'm assuming the roofing itself is solid, but won't know for some time. Again, they were a low bid and you get what you pay for. I found this company through Google and they're high reviews, but I don't think I got the five star crew at my house. I probably would not go with them again in the future.

We had about 1/3 of our roof replaced by Bone Dry at their suggestion after requesting their services the better seal the area of roof around our fire place. In lieu of patches, they recommended replace if the entire area of roofing. Unfortunately, the replacement created new leaks and they had to return several times to do repairs and replace areas of insulation that were damaged, and repaint. They ultimately completed the repairs, but paints did not match and the repairs were not top tier. Wouldn’t use this company again.

After waiting for weeks to get the job done, they finally came and my one gutter still leaks. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied and would not recommend this company!

Hi Veronica, we are sorry to see this review. The location this review was left on was for our sister company, Bone Dry Roofing Nashville, TN. We did run into some weather delays throughout the course of your project, including the day of install where the sealant may not have had adequate time to seal properly due to rain exposure. I understand Shaker has spoken with you and is going to come out for a water test on the gutters to ensure we complete the necessary steps to stop the leak. Thank you.

I can't say enough good things about this company. They are phenomenal from start to finish. They rescued me during a leak with a temporary fix until we could get a new roof put on and did astounding work putting on the new roof. The employees are great from the estimator to the foreman to the roofers and the admin staff. They are such a pleasure to work with. Their estimator is up front with costs and options and is low pressure, making you feel really comfortable. The materials are high quality and the workmanship is stellar. they keep you posted and updated about the progress of the job and follow up after to see if you're satisfied. As a bonus they also do fantastic clean up work. I am just so pleased with everyone at this company and I highly recommend using Bone Dry Roofing for your Roofing needs. I'm not paid to say this I am just so happy with their workmanship and customer service.
