  We had a "new" roof installed in 2018, and unfortunately, the workmanship was poor from the beginning. A year or so ago, I started to experience water damage coming from the roof. I reached out to several independent roofing contractors to inspect the roof, and each has pointed out the same issues: low-quality 3-tab shingles were used, there are multiple nail pops throughout, there was no drip edge installed, no ice and water shield at the eaves, and portions of the installation did not even meet building code requirements. When I contacted Badger multiple times to request that someone come out and inspect the issues, Barry, the owner, was extremely dismissive. He showed no interest in evaluating the concerns or standing behind the work. Roofing is one of those services where most homeowners have to trust that the job is being done correctly because much of the work isn't easily visible or verifiable. Unfortunately, that also means some contractors can cut corners without customers realizing it until problems develop years later. I believe reputable contractors should stand behind their work and be willing to address legitimate concerns. That was not my experience with this company. Based on the quality of the installation and the lack of customer service afterward, I cannot recommend them. I would encourage anyone considering this company

  Meh, plenty of problems with this bunch. Started out I had to fight for the "free gutters" (wanted to make them an add-on) then I had to call them back because their contractor didn't replace the roll shingles on my sloped addition. Then, they covered over the condensate drain for my attic AC when they redid the fascia, and now it drips out all along the edge of the fascia, no doubt rotting the wood they replaced. OH! AND their contractor shot a nail thru our refrigerant line, so we had to have someone come out to run a new line from outside unit into the attic (to be fair, they DID compensate us for this one, just more of an inconvenience). Cleanup sucked also. STILL picking roofing nails up out of my driveway. 2 stars is generous.

  This company is the worst contactor I ever came across contacted them to put a roof on my house and garage and marked up my siding and ripped my screens. After calling them many different times to talk to the own which I never met and would not come out to look at the damages and refused after taking to him on the phone to fix the problems he told me he will see me in court. Well this company is one you don't what to use STAY AWAY

  They did my roof and I have had nothing but issues. I had leaks and they told me that it was a siding issue. I had another contractor look at the problem and they said it was a flashing issue and they refreshed 2 sides of the roof where Badger wanted to reside my house costing thousands. I now have found another issue with the roof vent where when they put the new shingles on the the pipe in the attic connecting the roof vent is disconnected. Barry states this is not part of the warranty but this was caused by them putting a new roof on my house. Be careful selecting this contractor is all I have to say as I will never use them again! In response to Barry's comment. Yes the issue of the vent is related to when they did my roof. When they took off the vent on roof they caused the vent pipe to separate in the attic. I did not go in to the attic until this week when I noticed it being separated. The only way it could separate is when they took off roof cap on vent. So if they do your roof look in your attic to make sure there are no issues with your venting!

  I never did a review on this company, but when I see their Comercial I'm left with bad memories. I had a water leak coming in through my kitchen. I called this company to repair it . We paid them , Badger came tried to repair the leak but never fixed the leak . Took our money and ran . We called another company and the leak was fixed !Beware , after they get your money, Badger does not care .

  Disappointed - We used Badger for a roofing job several years ago in Ellicott City to replace our roof when his business was just starting out. We were very impressed as Barry Flakes himself was on site for the entire replacement. He was responsive and the service was great. Approximately a several months ago to a year we were considering a bath remodel and found out that Barry has a remodeling division. We contacted him and again he came out personally looked over the job and stated he would work up the project estimate. During that visit we chatted about how his business has grown and he indicated he sometimes is recognized (due to his local commercials) in public. All of this to say he has NEVER to this date sent the project estimate or any follow-up. We were disappointed, but i suppose he sooooo much business now that clients that trusted and helped his business are overlooked - just disappointing...

  i’m very sorry that a missed email caused a 2 star review. you should check spam or call the office i guess the positive is that the 2 roofs we did for you aren’t the problem but a missed email.

  We had a new roof installed in June by Badger. The first heavy rain and we had a leak in our family room. Long story short, we have had to call numerous times, but the leak persisted. The last heavy rain we had in late September ruined our ceiling. It took numerous calls for someone to come out to try to fix whatever was leaking once again. I am still not sure it's actually fixed. Someone was to come out last week to fix the ceiling. Still waiting for that to happen. To make matters worse, the owner doesn't have the time or decency to call. Their answering service just sends messages. I have worked in the business world for years and this is bad customer service. If you never receive a call to assure you that the problem will be resolved and you have to call over and over and tell the reason you are calling, you become angry and know that you have been taken. I went with Badger because they were highly recommended by a very good friend. I wanted a contractor I could trust. I have projects in the near future and certainly will NOT call Badger.

  I definitely would not recommend Badger Contractors. My roof leaked after they were done. They came out to see what was the problem was and couldn't figure it out. I called another roofing company to come out. They said Badger Contractors didn't complete the job, that's why it was leaking. Was very unprofessional having to get another roofing company involved for Badger to end of being able to finish the roof and do everything in the contract.

  We have worked with Badger Contracting in the past for siding and a new roof. When we sustained storm damage in January 2026, we called Barry right away. He came to inspect our roof and shed. Barry facilitated our insurance claim. Replacing our main roof this time involved removing solar panels. We also had to replace our shed roof. Barry and his team did an outstanding job. They are professional, efficient and clean! We have referred Barry to others and highly recommend his company.

  We had a new roof installed by Badger about a year ago. Our sales representative, Erik Sparks was wonderful to work with, and we remain thrilled with our new roof. After the heavy rains for the past few days, we noticed our rear gutter was leaking. I sent Erik and email yesterday afternoon and he responded right away. The had a service man out first thing this morning. As it turns out, even though we had just had our gutters cleaned in April, they were filled up with leaf debris, so the problem was not Badgers. Barry Sparks, the owner followed up with a call to make sure I understood and had his service (gutter guy) offer to clean the gutters. I declined as I wanted to follow up with our regular gutter service. However, I can't say enough positive things about Badger Roofing. Their customer service is outstanding. If you need a new roof or roof repair, they are the company to call.

  My experience with Badger Contracting was excellent. After a rain, we discovered some water in our sunroom. I contacted Badger Contracting, explained the situation and they quickly had a technician at my house. He examined the roof, determined the cause of the problem and made the necessary repairs. We have not had an issue since. I would definitely recommend Badger Contracting.

  I needed siding repair and hired Badger last year to take care of it. They told me what they thought was needed and a fair price to replace the siding. I asked for more work and we agreed to a new price. The work was done and I can't tell where the original siding stopped and the new pieces installed. Months have gone by, including some nasty weather and the work still looks great.

  I used badger to redo my roof they did an outstanding job. Redid the whole roof and added attic fans to keep our hvac unit from building up moisture. 10/10 experience would 100% reccomend.

  I was referred by a broker friend to Badger for roof/shingle damage. I couldn’t find a single company that would come out under 2 weeks or without ridiculous prices.. Badger, however, came within 24 hours, did an assessment, ordered materials and fixed my roof within days- which happened to be on a Saturday! they’re fair in pricing and provided pictures of all work performed, as requested. They were quick, efficient, responsive and reliable when it counted most. Thank you, Barry and team!
