  My roof was replaced in 2000 by this company. I experienced a leak And called in for a repair on Monday Aug 19, 2024. I was told someone would call me back….I waited a week and called again. I was told someone would get back to me again. Never heard a word! I ended up calling someone else who came right away and repaired the leak for me. Interesting point…….*The work done in 2000 was an “insurance claim” and boy, did they come running to get that job! Very disappointed in the non- response this time. Would not recommend this company to anyone. I had to hit a star in order to get this to post….I don’t believe they deserve a star.

  Shady business tactics. Taking advantage of my sister in law. Took an $11,000 insurance check over a year ago and never came to complete the job. Owner has nothing but excuses and when a refund was asked for, went silent. Not responding to phone calls or texts. House has been leaking for over a year doing more damage the whole time. If you’re going to use them, I would suggest withholding payment until the job is done.

  I am a subcontractor who did a job on July 9, 2024 at 1283 North Av Stratford CT, for this company I thought they were a serious company but no!! They are irresponsible, they don't want to pay me for the work I already did. When I call them they don't answer, I hope they call me to pay me.

  Did not return calls after multiple attempts to find out where our quote was. I found their way of doing business very disrespectful, If I ran my business that was I would be out of business.

  CHECK GOOGLE IMAGES TO SEE EXTENSIVE DAMAGE AND MESS THEY CAUSED AND RESPONSES TO OWNER**** Horrible experience. I asked specifically about having tarps so they did not damage my siding or BRAND NEW WINDOWS AND DOORS I just had installed! As you can see from the picture it was an absolute mess and disregard of the property and damage. When I contacted my rep, Neil, about what was going on, I was texted back, "It's a construction site. It's going to look like that. Don't worry about it so much.". I had copper channeling on the ridges and valleys and they tore that off to replace it with inferior materials. I had nice gutter covers that they forcefully pried off and damaged and tried to place back on after I had a talk about them and they agreed to replace it. They eventually replaced them with punched inserts that sort of do the same thing, but don't and are a cheap alternative. They bent my furnace exhaust as you can see in the photos. Damaged my plants and shrubs and refused to replace them. I had multiple landscapers come out and quote me on the price of a mature 10yr shrub and they disagreed with the amount. Not my fault your idiot crews damaged them! Finally got a landscaper (4th one to quote) that would do it for the half of the quote they were offering (quoted $2500 for the pull out and replace; Armour Shield would only offer to cover $1000. Going off memory, but the important part was they were not willing to cover the total replacement cost, even though it was there fault). We didn't even bother with the plants and flowers in the back that were damaged and didn't bring those up. Who knows at this point if my AC units are damaged as the pictures can depict. Siding was damaged and luckily I had leftover pieces from the previous owner that I could use, but in the pictures you can see the oil and grease that the shingles left on the siding from the crew throwing them on the tarps they let fall.   I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Armorshield roofs!! every step of this process was handled professionally, courteously, meticulously, and spotlessly! From my contact with the initial forensic roofer, through the installation team, and even the dumpster delivery and haul away. Every single person was courteous, helpful, and invested in the project in every way. The installation team was outstanding, and I am so impressed with the finished product. Highly recommend them, and will be referring them to everyone I know!

  Excellent service! Work was done as scheduled, promptly and efficiently. Workers did a fantastic job. They always returned calls, answering any questions in a timely manor. I highly recommend Amor Shield!

  Armor Shield Roofing out of Oakville, CT provided completed a high-quality residential roofing project at a reasonable price. Their installation was professionally done with no issues and job was completed in 1 day. Dave Usdan was awesome in proving options to suit our needs. Overall, I am extremely satisfied. I would highly recommend Armor Shield Roofing and ask for Dave Usdan. You won't be disappointed.

  Dave and Jim and the entire team at Armor Shield Roofing did a fantastic job start to finish, from helping us evaluate the damage, to selecting the replacement and new roofing shingles, to implementation and installation.   Abe and Dehar were an excellent team to work with and got the entire roof done for a reasonable cost! They did the entire roof in two days and did a wonderful job of cleaning up! (Which I was initially worried about.) Any question I had was answered right away and they walked me through the entire process. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a roof or roof repair. They are a great company to work with!
