  We also explained from the beginning that we could not help this client as she is located more than an hour drive from our area of operation and our schedule was completely full with replacements so we referred her to another roofer. She said she could not find anyone else and we were the only one to call her back or respond. So to help her out I agreed to do the assessment for $350 which is our standard fee for this service. She declined stating that was “too much” and believed we should do the assessment for free which we declined to do. After finding no one else who was willing to help her, she called back and agreed to pay the fee as she needed an expert opinion of the condition of the roof. I performed the assessment gave her a written report with pictures and explained again we could not help her with the repair and reiterated we were extremely busy doing full replacements and had no one available to do any repair work. Ms Mihalik feels differently. We respect her opinion and respectfully disagree. I’m sorry we were unable to meet your need and wish you all the best.   Would not recommend at all! AMCAT installed a very expensive TPO roof on a commercial building and within 18 months it started to leak, where there was no leak before. Come to find out they aren't qualified to install TPO at all. They wouldn't return my messages or answer my calls to get the leaks fixed so I went with another local roofing company. Unfortunately, but fortunately the new company found NUMEROUS issues with AMCAT's installation. They did a great job fixing AMCAT's failures and installing a metal roof on our house.

  AMCAT was my worst experience with a contractor ever. It took over a year to complete my roof. It took multiple attempts to reach AMCAT for issues that didn’t involve paying them. Roof quality was so bad AMCAT made a 2nd attempt at replacing my roof and still couldn’t get it right. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!

  It is always our responsibility as a company to make sure we have a satisfied client and to take corrective action if they are not. I accept responsibility that we were obviously unsuccessful in achieving that in this case however, I’m not sure what more we could have done. While I respect Mr Parker’s right to express his opinions I have to disagree with his conclusions. In fact, Mr Parker was not (technically) our client as this was a real estate transaction whereby My Parker was the Buyer. He contacted us to inspect the roof prior to his purchase. We did so and discovered extensive damage to the roof and determined it was caused by a storm and advised that an insurance claim could be made which would likely cover the cost of a full replacement. We were then hired by the seller to help initiate the claim and assist in gaining the approval of the claim so that repairs could be made, as the seller was unable to pay for the repairs herself which would have resulted in the sale falling through. I would like to address Mr Parker’s claims directly: 1. Not only did we install a ridge vent (which was not present prior to our installation which may be what is confusing Mr Parker) but as a result of the lack of ventilation prior to our work, we discovered black mold present in the attic. To correct that issue we removed all of the plywood decking and insulation and replaced it new and then were able to include the cost of that in the insurance claim. We then installed a ridge vent to correct that problem. 2. Skylights were paid (in the insurance claim) to be re-flashed, not replaced. We did re-flash the skylights per the claim and our per our contract with the client. Neither the seller (our client) nor the buyer (Mr Parker) wanted to pay to replace the skylights (which was against our recommendation) so we re-flashed them per the scope of work as defined by the insurance claim. 3. We responded next day to the leak claim. Upon investigation we found the leak was not in

  AMCAT repaired my existing metal roof and I’m so relieved for their service. Ethan was friendly and professional and easy to work with when assessing the problem and suggesting solutions. I highly recommend AMCAT. I’ll be using them for all my roof needs.

  Highly recommend AMCAT Roofing. Received a response right away from Kevin Wilkinson who scheduled Ethan to come to our home the next day! Ethan and Ryan were very professional and worked with us to get the job done quickly. Phil McDaniel and the crew that did the work were amazing; professional, courteous and demonstrated excellent attention to detail.   I ran a contracting company for seven years. These guys are the best I’ve ever seen. Fast, courteous, professional, commutative, cleanup was fantastic, the only evidence they were even here is a new roof!!!! Plus did it in a day and a half. 65 squares. Unbelievable. Super impressed.

  My roof sustained some storm damage during the winter of 2022/23. I contacted three different roofing companies in the Durango area. Only one company returned my call, and that was Amcat Roofing. Ryan made an appointment to meet with me the very next day. From the moment he arrived I was empress with his professionalism and knowledge. After filling the initial insurance claim Ryan assisted me through the entire insurance process even taking time out of his busy day to meet with the insurance adjusters and explain the damage he had found. Long story short I got a full roof replacement. I also want to mention the crew who worked on my roof was amazing from start to finish. They arrived on time and in one day removed the old damaged roof and replaced the new roof. They completely cleaned the job site be for they left. The quality of the work was amazing.
