  I hired them to do an insulation and eavesthrough job. The insulation guy noticed that my soffits were fake which was causing my ice dam issues. So we had the eavesthrough guys install soffit pucks . Unfortunately they only drilled through the fake soffit not the real wood ones. Obviously didn't know want they were doing. Of course 2 years later ice dam tore everything down on top of a 2 year old a/c unit.10k in damages. So I approach AM group to see if they could help me out. Well after months of being run around. They provide me with a quote that had a 175.00 loyalty discount. I can't express how disappointed I was from a company that size and reputation. The gentleman in charge at the Muskoka division told me it was a really bad winter ,no big deal just put it through your insurance. Really how about we put it through your insurance. What an answer I couldn't believe it. At no point did they admit fault. There's no denying it , I hired them to do a job and they didn't do it. I will never use this company again. BEWARE.

  My initial experience with AM Group was positive - the fellow who provided the quote seemed knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy, and both my wife and I felt comfortable moving forward with AM Group. Things quickly feel apart. The day after signing the contract, we called the sales rep to pay our deposit and left him a voicemail. We heard nothing back from him (we have subsequently been told he went on a Leave of Absence), and it was 2 weeks until anyone from AM Group reached out to us, only for us to learn that, due to this oversight, the start date for our work would be pushed out an additional 2 weeks. There has also been some discrepancy in how long the wait time would be before the work would commence (4-6 weeks or 4-8 weeks). Further, whenever I inquire for updates with respect to scheduling and start date for the work, I get the impression from representatives at AM Group that I am being a bother. Over the last 2 years, we've done about $30,000 worth of business with AM Group. I don't think we will go to them again, and I would not recommend them to anyone in Muskoka. Their operations in other regions might be better, but here in Bracebridge/Muskoka it has, at best, been lackluster - lots of great promises, very little on follow through very weak customer service skills from the office/scheduling staff.

That situation was addressed internally once identified, and your project was moved forward without further interruption.   Absolutely horrible company. We got our siding done, they cut the holes for our outdoor lights way too big and the siding started bowing due to the heat when the sun hits our house. We contacted AM group to ask them to fix the issues and it's been 5 months and we still haven't had anyone come fix it. Everytime we contact the company they keep saying "we expect someone to come by in a few weeks" well we've been asking since May and still are waiting half way through October. Should have known this company was crap when the sales guy underquoted us by $1000. If you can go with another company you should. Do not go with this company ever

  I ordered two doors and one window for my cottage in early August. They were supposed to be installed by mid October. Did not come until late November. One door was the wrong size the other door was the wrong colour. Window was ok. Winter arrived. Wrong size door was finally installed the following late spring. There was no caulking put around the outside of the door. I requested that someone come and caulk the door in early July. I did so again in early August. Kept being told it will be put on the schedule. In late September I finally got tired of waiting and caulked it myself. Not sure that is the type of customer service I was hoping to receive. Will be looking elsewhere when I need to replace all my other cottage windows.

  AM Group came highly recommended to me by a contractor friend of mine and I had heard other great reviews of their work as well. The first impressions of the company were great. Patrick (sales from Collingwood) was professional, communicative and really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with the job. Unfortunately, after the job started, the service took a substantial decline. Our roof project was delayed by almost 2 weeks because the crew assigned to us never showed up and the project manager had no idea where his guys were. After the crew was replaced, it took nearly 2.5 months to install a steel roof (which was about 80k) and during that time, the crew on-site were dirty, rude, unprofessional and dangerous (one fell off the roof and was injured badly). The project manager was seldom on site and was incredibly hard to get a hold of. When we did get a hold of him, it was excuses after excuses. This project finally wrapped up in late July (it started at the end of May) and I am still fighting with this company to come up and correct some deficiencies. It is clear in my dealings with them that the customer comes last and their management does not care at all about the service they offer to their clients. Proof of this was when Jimmie, the regional manager spoke to me about my concerns and promised to do a site visit and speak to the crew to get this on track. That never happened. Do yourself a favour and find someone else to install your roof, unless of course you don't mind dealing with everything I have had to endure.

  Ray and Irwin did me a big favor. Ray did major attic/roof/suntunnel/vent work for me a couple of years ago. I just wanted some advice on a sun tunnel issue and a check on the rest of the work. They fitted me in on a busy day and came and did a thorough check of everything. They carefully walked me thru it all (including with pics). They also answered my sun tunnel concern in detail. These guys know their stuff and are very thorough. I was lucky to have them.
