  I really wanted this business to work out. All of his responses to reviews were so professional and heartfelt, I was incredibly disappointed with my experience. Looked up business to see about getting new floors in our house. Website said open til 8pm. Called 1/16/24 at 6pm. I assume Scott answered. I say "assume" because this phone number listed as a business line was answered with , "Hello?" No proper greeting with the business name or who was answering. I asked if this was the business listed on Google was answered in the affirmative. I said I was interested in getting new floors in my house and was asked to text this information and he would get back to me. I did that and heard nothing back. I texted again 1/17 at 10am just stating to let me know if he needed any other information, as this was my first time reaching out to a contractor. I received a text back at 1pm that same day asking for my address. I replied back straight away and heard nothing back. As of now, 1/29/24, I never heard anything back. Ended up calling another contractor and within a week they were at my house taking measurements to give me a quote.

  Hello Michaela, if you read through our reviews you'll notice mention of telemarketers overwhelming our phone number. I'm getting pretty good at spotting those numbers and I thought yours was one of them. Obviously it was not. My apologies. Otherwise I would have surely introduced myself. We have been very busy and trying to get caught up. You were on my list late last week ( I was close to your neighborhood), but appointments ran long and couldn't make it. I should have told you our timeline on estimates. That is my fault and I should have at least given you an estimated timeline. So sorry. Scott

  Called for a very rough quote, I mentioned I did not have exact measurements and was going to use half acre of roofing as a measurement but was hung up before even being able to say that. Very unprofessional.

  I try to take time for all my phone calls. You mentioned your calling from Connecticut, and needed pricing on any and all aspects of the build for a complex. With no measurements, no description, or any details or blueprint. I don't give pricing over the phone as it never works. I will drive to look at the job, or at least send me a blueprint. Giving an estimate on work to be done without sizes would be way outside the ballpark range. If someone did give an estimate on such little information, I would be very sceptical that it would be a useful price. The fact that you had such a vague description of the build, made me skeptical and thought it was leading up to one of the many telemarketers that call me. I seriously thought this was a marketing call for steel buildings. I get bombarded with that one in particular. I do apologize. I work very hard at trying to keep my review score as high as possible. If you would have given even a little bit of information regarding sq ft or size I would have assumed it was a legitimate phone call. Everyone gets spam calls. Own a business and the volume of spam calls are ten times worse. I had just hung up from a telemarketer right before you called. That didn't help. My apologies.

  Scott was prompt and courteous, explained everything in detail and the job was done very quickly, Scott’s a great contractor to work with, He even met with the adjuster to make sure he didn’t miss any damage from the recent hail storm. If you’re in need of a new roof Advanced Building and Design is the place to call!

  Had Scott help us out when a storm blew our gutter half off. It ended up bending right in the middle and so we needed the whole thing replaced. He and his crew were amazing! Fast service and we were able to get scheduled within a week of our gutter falling off. Most places wanted to push us out 3-4 weeks! Great prices and quality work. Definitely plan on using this company for future services.

  I had my gutter fall off my house due to a bad storm… Found Scott and gave him a call and he was able to come out within a week and fix not only the broken gutter but one that was on its last leg as well. Very timely and efficient and fair priced. Thank you again Scott

  Called this company late afternoon and Scott answered immediately. He stopped by the very next morning and within an hour of him checking out the leak in our roof, his crew came out and fixed everything. Reasonable price and high quality service. Highly recommend!!! The best.

  I replaced the roof and gutters for this customer. He was satisfied with our work and called months later regarding his bath tub. I rarely give out ball park estimates on the spot, but against my better judgement he asked numerous times. After working on bids and pricing, the price was more than my ball park estimate. To be clear, regarding the jacuzzi tub, I did not do this job nor bill him for anything afterwards. Brandon is claiming this is a bait and switch for pricing on my ball park estimate. This is Brandon's quoted email reply after I explained the reasons for a higher bid. Quote "I understand. I am not trying to hold you to a comment that you didn’t have an opportunity to think through. Thanks for the clarification." This response from Brandon mentions nothing of a "bait and switch". We did not do the work for Brandon, and for anyone reading the reviews I think you can guess why. Regarding the debris in his gutters, granules did enter the gutters, but no other debris. I take great care in making sure we don't have to make a return trip for repairs. None we made.

  Like everyone else has said Scott does a phenomenal job. Recent homeowner with possible hail damage, Scott came out explained everything and broke down the whole process. Worked with my insurance and was here to address any question or concern I had. Would recommend him and his team for any job.
