I want to share my disappointing experience with Ace Roofing in Fairbanks. They redid my roof over two years ago, and since then, I've had nothing but problems. The vapor barrier they installed has holes, leading to frost and mold issues. When I reached out to them for a fix, they refused to take any responsibility, claiming it's due to excessive moisture inside the garage and that it's built too tightly. There was no baffling installed. We had at least 4 other companies come as well as an engineer and the baffling was the first thing that came up. We were told that we needed a drain installed in our garage, when prior to the replacement none of the mildew and paint peeling were ever an issue. This is unacceptable, and I expected better service and accountability from a professional roofing company. I would not recommend Ace Roofing to anyone looking for reliable and quality work.

Carl, we have discussed this issue with you several times. We have a copy of the engineers report (provided to us by you) from a very respectable local engineer who advised that this is a humidity issue, caused by moisture in the air in your garage - likely from dethawing vehicles in the garage - and that you should reduce the interior humidity levels and install a garage drain to mitigate this issue. Your refusal to follow the engineer's advice has nothing to do with the work that we performed. We wish you all the best. Take care. - Erica

If I could put a 0 star review I would. I read reviews about how quick Andre was to come and give quotes so I called and he came out 2 days later to check out what I needed done. It has now been 3 months and I still don't have an …

Five years ago, I contacted Ace Roofing for a leak in a difficult-to-repair location. Immediate response and a superb, expertly executed repair. This year, I decided to have my 21 year old roof replaced. I reached out to ACE Roofing, their design consultant Kyle Cantu came out THE NEXT DAY with a significant number of shingle samples and accessories. With his expert advice and guidance, we decided on a Owens Corning Woodmoor, a high-end, super durable shingle in Granite. The ACE Roofing crew were beyond efficient, professional, and polite......great, great guys......really nice to have them on the project. The Project Manager Cody Gooden visited the job site several times to make sure the installation was well done, and made some critical installation decisions to assure a perfectly executed install. Since the house is surrounded by landscaping, decks, furniture.....I had some concerns. NOT A LEAF, BRANCH, BIRD FEEDER WAS DISTURBED!!!!! After the clean up, you could not ever tell anyone was there......except for a STUNNINGLY FABULOUS new roof!!!! IN 3 DAYS TOTAL. If you are considering a roof repair or new roof.....call ACE because they are head-and-shoulders above everyone else, period. Lots of options for every budget, expert advice and very professional staff!!

Ace’s crew replaced my shake-shingle home with asphalt shingles. They coordinated timing and completed the work professionally, and promptly. They met, and in part exceeded, our expectations. Certain extras were required and reasonably priced. We are happy with the results. We recommend Ace. Bob Groseclose

We had been having a tough time getting anyone to fix our roof. But Andre and ACE Roofing wasted no time in getting me a quote, being fair honest and transparent with us and getting the job done. Thanks to them my family and me can rest easy and feel safe in our own home. I would recommend them to anyone I know. Thanks again guys!

ACE Roofing recently replaced our 37-year-old roof. André and Erica were a pleasure to work with--friendly, professional, informative, and patient and helpful as we waffled over shingle color. Andre and his crew were fast and efficient and were careful with our shrubs and dog yard. They had the roof stripped and redone in just a few days, and they left everything clean and tidy. I would recommend them without hesitation.
