  We had a new roof installed, including removing the old shingles. The crew showed up by 7am and completed work by 6pm, including full clean up. We are pleased with the quality of the work. They also installed new ridge venting which should lower the temperature in the attic. 12/30/2025 - one problem surfaced with our installation was the shingles on the front were overlapping the gutter, leaving only 1” of gutter. It took a while to notice this as heavy rain brought it up. It took a while to finally get through to the warranty service, but once established they followed up. It was “fixed” on 12/26/2025, but I have to get up there to fix examine it. From street level one cannot tell. 2/28/2026 - as noted above, there was a problem with the front section of the roof. The front facing the street had the shingles started to low, covering a lot of the gutter, leaving only about one inch of gutter. Eventually the installer crew came back to look at it and said they were right. They said it’s my gutter installation fault. ATOP sent a different person to look at it. He agreed it was wrong. The fix they applies was to clit the first row to uncover the gutter. 3/17/2025 - And now we found part of the plumbing vent pipe flashing system installed by A-Top on the ground. Hopefully there is no leakage. The part, a PermaBoot system also seems to have been installed with a 2 inch top instead of a 4 inch top. Waiting on the resolution. Contacted the warentee department but they have not called back. After I got back up and looked at it, it was done cleanly. But, I paid a premium price for what is supposed to be a premium company. I felt a rebate would be appropriate. The warrantee person said she would bring it up to the company. As of this date, I have not received any further information from them. I have reduced my rating of the job produced. 3/30/2026 - They came and installed the proper plumbing vent boot. This was done bt Brachman's, not ATOP. What I have found is ATOP w

  No stars!! but forced to put 1 in order to post review I agree with Art K's review to a tee!! A-Top installed new windows in my home in 2022. I didn't submit a review at the time out of respect for the owner, my friend Andy. The work was unsupervised and done by transient workers who are careless and, in a hurry, and prone to errors. They cut all the nail flangers off of my new windows and did not install the window jambs. My windows were hung to the interior wall instead of the exterior. Kenny had a lot of excuses leaving me to argue with Kenny for 2 days that the windows were not right until he admitted I was right. A Top rectified the problem, but I had to wait a year for the new windows to come in and be installed. I'm writing a review now because I just found out that A Top screwed up my roof replacement in 2017!! Had I known this in 2022 I NEVER would have had them install my windows!! LOOK FOR MY NEXT REVIEW ON WHAT WAS UNCOVERED ON MY ROOF REPLACEMENT 8 YEARS LATER!! STAY AWAY FROM A TOP ROOFING. Their boasts about being GAF MASTER ELITE CERTIFIED is absolute BS!!

  I called yesterday for my roof to be evaluated from storm damage. I gave them all of my info, gave them preference for appointments and was told I would get a phone call to confirm. I didn't get a call to schedule. I called back again today. The same process happened and they collected my info and told me I would get a call back. No clue if they are good or not because I never got past trying to schedule.

  Homeowner beware, this is worth your time to read. I have never reviewed a company online with a bad review, but I feel that it’s very important to share and warn other neighbors of our experience of A-top roofing in Manalapan NJ. We trusted A-top would do the correct job based on other reviews we read, the fact they are GAF certified, and have a large presence in our town which further led us to believe they would deliver a correct roof install. We recently had a new roof installed on our home by A-top. The contract was for an entire new roof. Currently our home has a new extension as well added. A-top installed the roof over our extension and existing home. During the first major rainstorm which was aprox 3 weeks after the install we had water pouring down our walls and into our finished living room/kitchen and even down to the basement because of the volume of water. This was not over the new extension but over our existing home. We never had a leak in this home in 20 years. In short, we contacted A-top who came to inspect. They told us the job was done correctly and that our siding was old. They said our old siding was leaking, but that wasn’t the case by far. We contacted a local GAF certified installer who came out to inspect the job. The company said the flashing was never sealed and just laid against the building with tape. The flashing was supposed to be installed correctly for a home that already has siding regardless of the type or age. The new company said our siding although old is still sealed and installed correctly. A 23ft seem open to the elements outside where they explained that A-top should have flashed the job as per the contract. The contract states “Re-nail and RESEAL all other existing flashings accordingly”. When A-top came to the job after the complaint was made we repeatedly told them to fix the job as per the contract and RESEAL the flashing. They stood by decision to not perform any repairs.   Highly unprofessional and couldn’t be bothered...we wanted an estimate on a higher end designer roof. They sent out one of their guys to survey the property and then would come back two days later for a review of estimate. Got a call the day before they were to come back out and Dan said the owner didn’t want to waste his time, did I know how expensive the roof would be???!!! Like I didn’t already know what I was looking for but I said what ballpark are we in- he then proceeded to pull some random number out of the air by saying they did another job similar and it was over 70k. It was clear that they didn’t want the job or didn’t need the job but I think people should be careful because their quote was 30k + above 3 other reputable roofers. I asked him what a normal timberline HDZ roof would come in at and he arbitrarily pulled another number from out of the sky- still 15k over other roofers. Lazy owner, unprofessional estimater...all around mess. Feel free to message me directly and I can give you the name of the other roofers that we’re much better priced and highly professional.

  Aminata was patient and gave me a quote o and showed me th comparison, of average prices, but I need additional work on the roof that would be additional price unknown. Thanks for being as patient as possible I was not told it would be inside the house by the phone salesman and I applied for the senior grant program, which you do not seem to participate in, your phone rep should have caught this before sending your sales rep.I have no quote for gutters.
