My daughter got her roof done with A1roofers many young people showed up to do a simple roof. That winter the roof leaked a lot .She called to have A1 repair the mistakes they made (flashing not caulked properly, many places not at all) . It’s been 2 years and the roof still leaks . My daughter paid the roofers , counting on the fact that they would be decent and fix things properly. But they haven’t. I also live here would NEVER use A1 roofers for anything .

How a company responds matters. Unfortunately, Bill the owner did not take responsibility for the error under his 'companys name' or show any accountability, which was the most disappointing part of my experience. I waited around all day …

Roof work, did damage to home. Was threated when I complained. Since I was getting work done through a grant. I didn't have much of a say. Only reason I signed off on work was because they were intimating and being a senior I wasn't sure …

They’ll take your money, then when you call you’d have better luck getting a call back from the pope. Very dismissive and rude.

I contacted the company for a quote. After waiting 2 weeks somebody came to the work site however we are now 1 month later and never received a quote. That’s why I always ask for 3 different company to give me quote, you know from that who give a good service and will be reliable.

Took 9 months to get him to finish/fix the work. If you care about your home, avoid A1 Roofing. I hired A1 Roofing in November 2024, shortly after buying my home, to fix step flashing issues identified by my home inspector. What should have been a simple job — replacing a small section of shingles over my front porch — turned into a much bigger issue when they damaged all the siding on the front gable of my house due to carelessness and rushing to finish the job late on a Friday afternoon. During the quoting process, Bill (the owner) presented himself as a friendly local neighbor and part of a reliable, established company. That impression didn’t last. Despite the obvious damage, it took nine months and constant follow-up on my part to get any response or resolution. I had to chase them repeatedly just to get them to acknowledge and address the issue. To make matters worse, the siding they eventually installed doesn’t match the rest of the house — a permanent reminder of my mistake in hiring them. If you’ve already hired them or plan to, inspect the work carefully. They never mentioned the damage — I had to bring it to their attention. They said and did nothing until I pushed for accountability, never getting an apology. There are many better local roofing companies that take pride in their work and treat their customers with respect. I would never hire A1 Roofing again. Huge regrets.

We got a free estimate from Bill and I tell you that he is a good salesman. After we gave a 50% deposit, we heard nothing for 3 weeks. My husband finally got a hold of Bill and he said they would be coming the week of July 7th and he would call to confirm. He called Sunday night at 830 to tell us he would be there the next morning at 630AM. They did come and do the shingles and then said they would be back in a week to do the eaves and fascia. The next night at 947PM, he called to say they would be here the next day…they didn’t come and finally around 2, my husband called and was told sorry, we ordered the wrong pieces so we will be back next week….we finally got a call on the 16th that they would be here to wash our house on the 17…17th 2 guys show up to do the eaves and fascia and while working, the washers showed up…the eaves guys then left…they came back on the 18th but didn’t finish. They finally came on the Monday the 21st to finish and Bill showed up. They blocked our neighbours driveway for no reason as there was room in front of our house and when our neighbour asked him why, Bill very sarcastically answered, oh come on darling cheer up, it’s Monday, don’t be so grumpy. This was very rude and uncalled for. If we hadn’t already paid half up front, we would have cancelled after the shingles due to the lack of communication and the rudeness of the owner. Now I will say that the guys did a good job and I love the look but I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone if you care about the way the owner acts after the deposit, communication, and getting something done in a timely manner.

Very happy with A1. Bill wrote up and explained all the work that needed to be done and his crew took care of all the work including the problems which inevitably pop up. They were very professional and helpful if I had any concerns. I feel like I have a new house now.

It was an amazing transition to our home. The addition took several months, but it was worth it. I would recommend A 1 quality roofing and siding any day. Thank you to Bill and his people.

We had A1 Quality Roofing and siding put a new shingle roof and a large commercial flat roof on our Niagara Boulevard property..The owner found us the best products within our budget to get the job done. The crew is very impressive. Very polite and professional and some of the hardest working guys you'll see. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again and would happily recommend them to friends or family.. These guys are pros

roof leak in garage. called A1 roofing in late afternoon - they were here first thing next morning. Ice dam caused the leak - Bill and his employee cleared the ice and snow off the valley on the roof. The leaking has stopped. Great service - will always call.

Very happy! A lot of work needed to be done and it was all done well and professionally. A week and a half after the estimate the new gutters were put in. Then less then two weeks later the roof , flat roof section, and skylights put in. We were surprised they would fit us in at all this year but they did! The crew was on fire! They got here early, almost at daybreak and left when it was dark. They worked very hard! They also put plywood in front of the windows that are close to the ground around the house to protect them. I’ve never seen any other roofer do this when I’m out walking the dogs. The next day another crew came in to do the trim around the skylights inside the house. That also turned out great! They got everything done, which is something because we’ve had a lot of crappy weather. Oh!…and even the guys that came to put the shingles on the roof before the job were impressive. It was nothing short of a magic trick especially with all the hydro lines in the way! Great job everyone!

Everything looked amazing when the job was finished. The guys seemed very professional and worked great as a team to get the job done. They came first thing in the morning and finished by dinner as stated at the start of the day. I would highly recommend A1 Quality Roofing & Siding

I normally don't do reviews, but I feel like I need to review A1 roofing. I had my roof recently redone and let me say that this company is A1 in service and quality work. I was amazed at how they protected my property and flower beds and were done in a day and it left as clean as they found it. I would highly recommend A1 for any one looking for a new roof or siding work.

I couldn't be happier with their customer service. Bill spent more time with me examining my roof and offering expert advice than any of the other roofers I contacted. They addressed my needs promptly, their price was very fair, and their crew worked very hard and were respectful to both my wife and I. I would heartily recommend them if you need your roof replaced.
